Back at you : Names and addresses of NYT reporters who published Darren Wilson’s address

New York Times reporters Julie Bosman and Campbell Robertson published the address of Darren Wilson in the New York Times so here are their addresses.

GotNews.com strenuously objects to publishing the addresses of individuals who are being targeted with death threats.

GotNews.com published the address of Ebola patient Nina Pham so that people could avoid going to her Houston apartment.

But it would also be wrong to publish the addresses of journalists without their consent.

It would be wrong, for example, to publish Bosman’s address at

5620 N WAYNE AVE APT 2
CHICAGO, IL 60660-4204
COOK COUNTY

It would be similarly wrong to publish the address of Robertson, too.

1113 N DUPRE ST
NEW ORLEANS, LA 70119-3203
ORLEANS COUNTY

So why do journalists think they are beyond examination?

How does it advance the story to know where Darren Wilson and his newly wed live?”

Original is below : I really hope someone pays these tools a visit. We need to start making it painful to be a mouthpiece for the regime.

Chuck Schumer: Democrats erred by passing Obamacare

From: The Hill

Democrats made a strategic mistake by passing the Affordable Care Act, Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), the third-ranking member of the Senate Democratic leadership, said Tuesday.

Schumer says Democrats “blew the opportunity the American people gave them” in the 2008 elections, a Democratic landslide, by focusing on healthcare reform instead of legislation to boost the middle class.

“After passing the stimulus, Democrats should have continued to propose middle class-oriented programs and built on the partial success of the stimulus,” he said in a speech at the National Press Club.

He said the plight of uninsured Americans caused by “unfair insurance company practices” needed to be addressed, but it wasn’t the change that people wanted when they elected Barack Obama as president.

“Americans were crying out for an end to the recession, for better wages and more jobs; not for changes in their healthcare,” he said.

He noted that 85 percent of all Americans got their healthcare from either the government, through Medicare or Medicaid, or through an employer.

“So when Democrats focused on healthcare, the average middle class person thought, ‘the Democrats are not paying enough attention to me,’ ” he said.

Schumer’s concession is a striking change of tone from what he said shortly after the passage of the healthcare law, when he predicted that ObamaCare would turn out to be a strong political issue for his party.

“I predict … by November those who voted for healthcare will find it an asset, those who voted against it will find it a liability,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” in March 2010.

A slew of Senate Democrats, including Blanche Lincoln (Ark.), Mark Pryor (Ark.), Mark Begich (Alaska), Kay Hagan (N.C.) and Mark Udall (Colo.), who voted for the bill, however, ended up losing in 2010 or 2014. Republicans attacked them constantly for voting for ObamaCare, an attack that became more potent after the law’s error-prone rollout.

On Tuesday, Schumer said that behind the scenes, he told other Democratic Party leaders that they should have focused on jobs and the economy instead of ObamaCare.

“Americans were crying out for an end to the recession, for better wages and more jobs; not for changes in their healthcare,” he said.”

Ya’ think Chucky? You arrogant prick. Now that half the country is pissed at your party and about a 1/4 is ready to go to war, you talk back your earlier points.

It goes to show that you had awareness of the situation then, but were too arrogant to care about anything other than your socialist agenda.

You seem to forget your earlier position but we haven’t.

Does anyone smell some more shellacking coming for the almighty party of Govt. control? I think Herr Schumer does.

Don’t worry Chuck, we have a light pole with your name on it.

How Long Must A Long Train Of Abuses Be?

bobbelvedere's avatarThe Camp Of The Saints

There’s been a very interesting discussion going-on over the past couple of days over at the Belmont Club in the Comments section of a post by Richard Fernandez.

At one point Subotai Bahadur [who I have quoted from approvingly a number of times before in these Dispatches] remarked:

Civility is a virtue up to a point. That point in politics is the point where it is forgotten what the purpose of politics is. Politics is how a society has agreed to allocate power and resources and and legitimize the process short of the violence that has been how our species has done it for as long as it has existed. Once the agreement on how politics are to be conducted is broken, the automatic default is bloodshed until a new equilibrium is achieved.

It seems that civility holds only in those who are in theory the opposition…

Yeah, nothing could go wrong here. Below is from Wiki:

“2005 official statistics for Islam in Guinea estimate that 85% of Guinea’s 7.8 million people are Muslim. Most are Sunnis who follow the Maliki legal tradition and Qadiri and Tijani Sufi orders. There are also many Ahmadi Muslims in the country.”

Texas Bill Would Make All Federal Gun Laws Invalid & Unenforceable

Land & Livestock Interntional, Inc.'s avatarFlyover-Press.com

All I can say is, it’s about damned time. — jtl, 419

By Tim Brown via Freedom Outpost

Texas Republican State Representative Tim Kleinschmidt (Lexington), who was recently re-elected, introduced House Bill 176 (HB176), which would declare all federal gun laws to be “invalid” and “not enforceable” within the sovereign state of Texas.

The bill, titled The Second Amendment Preservation Act, reads in part:

A federal law, including a statute, an executive, administrative, or court order, or a rule, that infringes on a law-abiding citizen’s right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution or Section 23, Article I, Texas Constitution, is invalid and not enforceable in this state.

According to the bill, A federal law that infringes on a law-abiding citizen’s right to keep and bear arms includes a law that:

imposes a tax, fee, or stamp on a firearm

P.O’d? Not even close

I don’t normally post things when I am in a bad mood. I usually try to keep a thread of humor running through what I write so I am not the perennial downer. When I am pissed off I feel like telling people that they should just go out and vent their anger, shoot something, anything, burn something down or maybe ram it with your car until you feel better.

Just to show them how pissed off you really are.

But I wouldn’t do that.

That’s just wrong.

It’s not sage advice and will get you into trouble

Big trouble

Just don’t do it

Submit peasants !

I was watching Glenn Beck last night and he had the above picture up on the screen. He asked the question “Is this who we are?” Of course his answer was no, as he is trying to keep as much distance between himself and potential violence as possible.

My answer was an immediate “You’re damned right that’s who we are.”

We are not a nation of peaceniks no matter how many pinch faced liberals claim that we are. We are a nation born of revolution. We are boiled down from the genetic stock of the misfits of Europe; the people who would not bow down or submit and risk fortune, life and family to be free.

Americans always have been, and hopefully always will be, different from Europeans. Instead of submission to religious or royal tyranny our ancestors chose harsh and dangerous freedom. When that tyranny reached across the ocean we chose revolution, a dangerous and deadly gambit.

Yes, that is who we are. We are still the same people that gave you the Boston tea party and the whiskey rebellion. It is not in our nature to submit to tyranny whether imposed by King George or George Washington. The genes may have been watered down some over time, but they still remain in many us.

There is a reason that the U.S. military is the most potent fighting force on the planet and it is not all superior weaponry. When we went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq the Jihadis jumped for joy. They couldn’t wait for the opportunity to meet fat, soft Americans and hand our asses to us on a platter; I think we all know how that went for them.

And now we are faced with hard American choices and must ask ourselves who we truly are. I know that my ancestors came over here in in 1747 and fought in the revolutionary war on the side of the rebels. My great grandfather X 6 and his brother, served with meritorious distinction and were awarded 50,000 acres of land in Georgia.

Yes, I know who I am. My ancestors have been shot, hung and imprisoned in every insurrection in Ireland. I come from a long line of careless rebels who put cause and duty before safety and security.

I can’t answer for everybody Mr. Beck, but I can answer for myself. ” You’re damned right that’s who I am”

Sunday 8:00 A.M.- I climb out of bed, at peace with the world, and shuffle off for hot coffee

Sunday 1:30 P.M.- It s time to change the dressing on my finger. It has been 2 weeks and I am also going to pull the stitches.

Sunday 1:32 P.M.- Unwrapped the finger and pulled the first stitch. Wound opened up immediately and clear fluid came out. Looked at my finger and got pissed off. No blood, no pink, just pale. Looks like I ‘m screwed and my finger is going to rot off.

Sunday 1:35 P.M.- Inform the wife that my finger is going to rot off and I am going to the E.R. Get more pissed off and drive to the drug store for bandages.

Sunday 1:45 P.M.- Come home and re-bandage the finger. Get more pissed off, drive to the store and get a pack of smokes. I already have 2 so I don’t need more, but for some reason driving places makes me feel better.

Sunday 1:55 P.M.- Decide to go to the E.R. which is in another town about 15 miles away.

Sunday 1:57 P.M.- Get in the car with the wife. She is pissed off because she has been after me for a week to go to a doctor and now my finger is going to rot off and she has to sit in the E.R. for 12 Hrs. while they cut more of my finger off.

Sunday 2:20 P.M.- We arrive at the E.R.. I am pissed because we are at the E.R.. A fight ensues in the parking lot. I tell her to take my happy ass home because I am not going in. She insists that I am. Like hell. She sees that I am going to bail from the vehicle and floors it….Too late!

Sunday 2:21 P.M. – I’m free

Sunday 2:22 P.M.- I’m walking home. I’m so pissed off that I barely feel the piece of broken glass that’s been in my foot for 3 weeks or the throbbing of my finger.

Sunday 3:40 P.M.- I managed to make 5 miles. I duck into a store to get some OJ and run into a guy that I do business with. He gives me a lift all the way home. I like him.He is a good guy.

Sunday 3:55 P.M.- Home sweet home. I’m locked out. I left the keys in the truck when I bailed. No problem. There’s a shovel in the pack of my pick up. Pry open a window and climb through.

Sunday 3:57- Home sweet home.

Sunday 3:58 P.M.- While knowing that booze will not help my finger, I also know that it won’t hurt it. Pour a drink. Wife comes home. We don’t even fight about it. The only person in the world more bull headed than her is myself.

Monday 10:00 A.M- Wife shows up at work. Doctor time.

Monday 11:30- A.M. Doctor is looking at my finger. He is totally unimpressed. He doesn’t even give me the “You poor bastard look” He says it’s fine, pulls the stitches and re-ups the anti-biotic scrip. Doesn’t look or feel healed, but his lack of concern makes me feel better.

Tuesday 12:00 P.M.- Time to change the dressing. Maybe this will be the last time. I am greeted by shock and horror. What was dry and maybe healing is now mush. The skin flap that was stitched over it is gone. I won’t finish with the description, suffice it to say that it was not what I wanted to see.

Tuesday 12:01- P.M Panic!

Tuesday 12:02 -P.M. Stop panicking. Decide to bandage it so it will get air and dry out.

Tuesday 12:03-P.M. Panic! One of those stories that Dad told me about gas gangrene just popped into my head. Plus, someone I know just died a few weeks ago from flesh eating bacteria. Flesh eating Bacteria! Panic!

Tuesday 12:04 P.M.- Stop panicking. Time to go back to work.

Tuesday 6:00 P.M.- Unwrap the finger and look at it. It is dry now and looks much less gruesome than it did.

Tuesday 11:oo P.M.- Pour a drink so I won’t think about my finger and turn in for the night.

Wednesday 7:00 A.M- Wake up, think about my finger then head for hot coffee.

Wednesday 10:15 A.M- Stop work for a while so I can write a story about my finger.

Wednesday 10:45 A.M.- Wonder how many of my readers have died from boredom while reading about my finger.

Obamas own words saying that what he plans on doing is illegal

“In a Telemundo interview in September 2013, Mr. Obama said he was proud of having protected the “Dreamers” — people who came to the United States illegally as young children — from deportation. But he said at the time that he could not apply that same action to other groups of people; the very thing he is soon expected to announce.

“If we start broadening that, then essentially, I’ll be ignoring the law in a way that I think would be very difficult to defend legally,” Mr. Obama told Jose Diaz-Balart in the interview. “So that’s not an option.”

In an immigration speech in San Francisco last November, several protesters repeatedly interrupted the president, yelling “Stop deportations! Stop deportations!” Mr. Obama told the protesters that he respected their “passion,” but insisted that only Congress had the authority to do what they wanted.

“The easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws,” he said. “And what I’m proposing is the harder path.”

“This is something that I have struggled with throughout my presidency,” Mr. Obama said. “The problem is, is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.”

So, I guess he has decided that he IS the emperor. But what can he say, he is just doing it for the good of the country right?

“If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole..it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.”

Navy Veteran Fired from Drury Plaza Hotel for Posting Photos of Homeland Security Vehicles on Facebook

“Chesterfield, MO – Yesterday should have been a normal workday for 28 year old Mark Paffrath, a Houseman at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Chesterfield. Instead, it turned out to be anything but. Mark, a veteran of the US Navy, having served in the middle east, has been employed at the Drury Plaza Hotel for approximately the last year and a half. Yesterday, however that employment abruptly ended. Mark says that on Thursday after work he snapped 2 photographs and a short video of several dozen Homeland Security vehicles in the parking garage. He then uploaded them to his Facebook page. In his post he writes “why are all the cop cars here…I wonder if it has anything to do with Ferguson”, he also included the hashtags #Ferguson #NoJusticeNoPeace.”

“On Friday, shortly after arriving to work at the Drury Plaza Hotel, Mark stated that he was called to the office of Jeff Baker, the General Manager. Upon arriving Mr. Baker advised Mark that he needed to remove the photos and video from Facebook. Mark immediately complied and removed the post. Mark then continued and finished his shift.

Saturday, Mark stated after being at work no more than 30 minutes, he was again called to the General Manager’s office. Waiting for him was Jim Bohnert, Director of Security for Drury Hotels Company, LLC. Mark told ASN that Mr. Bohnert advised him that his Facebook posts almost cost the company a $150,000 contract with the Department of Homeland Security and because of this he was being terminated.

This however, was not the end of the conversation. Mark stated that Mr. Bohnert continued and said “you’re a terrorist and you have dishonorably served your country by posting the photos and video”. Mark pleaded with Mr. Bohnert stating “he never put the location down on the post”. Mr. Bohnert replied “all they have to do is click on your name and see where you work”. Mark stated that Mr. Bohnert ended the conversation with “if you repost the photos and video you will have the federal government knocking on your door and you will be incarcerated”.

What’s the lesson here kids?

Even the forces of oppression need a place to lay their heads down at night… And park… And eat …and fuel up. As of now they have no supply lines and are at the mercy of the local economy and the locals.

Got the drift?

The Economics of Debt, Deterioration, Deflation, Depression, and Disorder, by Robert Gore

Robert Gore's avatarSTRAIGHT LINE LOGIC

Economies are analogous to ecosystems. Environmentalists’ base state is an ecosystem in a state of nature, unsullied by man. Economists’ base state is an economy in which, other than establishing and maintaining essential conditions—protection of property and contracts rights and physical security—the government is absent. Both systems rely on the autonomous actions of their constituent elements, organically adapting to the myriad stimuli and signals around them. Analyzing the changes and distortions caused by humans on ecosystems is a big part of environmental science. Similarly, much of economics analyzes the changes and distortions caused by governments in economies.

Money can be broadly defined as whatever enjoys widespread acceptance as a medium of exchange and store of value—a means of saving—within an economy. Demonstrably more efficient than barter, money plays a central role in any advanced economy. A distortion virtually every government has introduced into their economies has been the production of…

Washington Gun Owners Plan Mass Defiance of New Background Check Law: 13 December/1100 PST/State Capitol/Olympia WA

Gun confiscation begins in NY via dead relatives

http://www.activistpost.com/2014/11/gun-confiscation-begins-in-ny-via-dead.html

“Gun confiscation has indeed begun in New York.

This is not an over-hyped claim although this confiscation has yet to take the form of kicking down doors and SWAT teams.

Yet.

Still, rarely do such forms of tyranny come in one fell swoop with all the alarm bells ringing and the requisite flashing neon sign declaring a police state, apparently the only thing that might make Americans wake up and smell the fascism.

In the absence of that presentation, however, Buffalo police are doing the next best thing – tracking down gun owners, investigating their “permits,” and confiscating their guns if possible.

Buffalo police are now checking the records of “pistol permit holders” to see if the holders are still living. If the permit holder is no longer living, the police will investigate “what happened to their gun or guns.”

And so it begins. But liberal New York, the bastion of socialism in the Northeast is on its own. They should have seen this coming a decade ago. Now there is no one to help them but themselves. I have heard a lot of talk about backing up people in Connecticut or Colorado but no one it seems is willing to go to NY.

Washington gun owners rally to violate new gun laws

“Washington state gun owners will take things to a new level, responding to Washington’s new gun control law. At least 5,500 are going to choose to openly violate the gun control  law, I-594, at the state capitol in Olympia on December 13th. The law goes into effect on December 4th, after the Secretary of State certifies the election results. No mainstream media source has mentioned the rare event, even though reservations increase every day.

Basically unheard of in the modern era; 5,500 people will willingly violate the law through civil disobedience, and violate felony gun laws. Washington is one of few remaining states that has stayed friendly to gun owners, but gun owners are outraged that a few billionaires were able to buy the election, contributing almost half the $10 million gave to the race to support I-594, which was right at 10 times as much as the opposition. Unsuccessful at coercing the legislature to pass the law, gun control supporters relied on billionaires to push it through as an initiative. Their money provided the funds to run non-stop misleading ads on TV.”

Some of my Handi-crafts

box

box kstaff 1staff closestaff and canepipe 2little pipehome

Above are some of the items I make/made.  In order from the top:

1. Handmade red oak box made from 100yr. old hand riven oak

2. Kaleidoscope box made from 200 yr. old. hand riven Cherry. There is no glue, screws or nails (Except the hinge). Construction is hand cut and pinned box joints. Doweling can be seen on the front of the box holding the stays in place.

3. European style walking staff. Wood is 200 yr. Cherry and Dragonwood with brass inserts.

4. Close up of insert

5. Laurel oak cane with brass and antler embellishments. It’s a crappy picture, I should have gotten a close up.

6. Tobacco pipe. Construction is composite bone and laurel oak, all hand work.

7. Other than Tobacco pipe. Construction is Hickory and Live oak, all hand work

8.Some of my woodworking ’round about the house. The beauty of a small house is that you can afford to put good things in it. Look closely at the poster on the wall. She is saying” Do not criticize Obama’s reforms or you will be reported at flag@whitehouse.gov

Hopefully my finger is going to heal up soon. When it does, I am probably going to be making some things and will have some items for sale. Most of the stuff is made without power tools so I need my hands back in good shape to proceed.

In the past I have made everything from re-curve bows to a staff for a Bishop. I will probably start off with a couple of non Tobacco type pipes. (That type of pipe is constructed for easier cleaning and has larger holes and a seat for the screen)
