“A mother who asked TSA agents at DFW International Airport for alternative screening for her son with special needs said they were “treated like dogs” and forced to miss a flight during an extensive security check, according to her Facebook post that has since gone viral.

But the Transportation Security Administration said in a prepared statement that it followed approved procedures to “resolve an alarm of the passenger’s laptop.”

Jennifer Williamson wrote Sunday morning that her son has a sensory processing disorder and that she asked agents to “screen him in other ways per TSA rules.”

An accompanying video shows a TSA agent patting down her son. The agent pats down his backside before moving to his front. She writes in the post they were kept for more than hour in the “horrifying” incident.

TSA disputed Williamson’s account, noting in its statement that the passengers were at the checkpoint for about 45 minutes, including the time it took to discuss screening procedures with the teen’s mother and the inspection of three carry-on items.  The pat-down took about two minutes, according to the agency.”

“We are witnessing the unraveling of the fabric of constitutional government, and only a fool can believe it will end well.

The nastiest opponents to President Trump inside and out of government apparently feel justified in using “any means necessary” to defeat and remove him. Every day sees more evidence of a desire not only to block his policies but to drive him from office. While it does not yet rise to the level of an organized conspiracy, it does raise serious issues of constitutional fidelity.

First, in the weeks following the November election, we saw street protest and marches, followed by lawsuits, then leaks from inside government, and then talk of “impeachment” over crimes for which no evidence exists.

And folks, in the words of Al Jolson, you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s probably going to get worse.

The seeds of this “cultural embarrassment” over Trump’s victory were planted in the days immediately following the November 8 election:

• First, there was the nonsensical insistence that his victory was illegitimate because he won only the Electoral College majority and not a popular vote majority. Unfortunately, the Constitution is silent on the popular mandate theory.
• When that didn’t take hold, the opponents drummed up a claim the election was “stolen” from Hillary Clinton by Trump campaign collusion with “the Russians.” That became a constant media drumbeat for weeks and continues today.
• Then as the icing on this half-baked cake came the orchestrated resistance to Trump’s immigration executive orders through desperate challenges in federal courts brought before Obama-appointed judges.

These efforts have at least three obvious things in common: desperation born of utter shock at Trump’s election victory; self-righteous elitist arrogance; and the active participation and support from the nation’s major media organizations.

Yet, there is another novel element interwoven in these events that is even more dangerous – dangerous not simply as a political obstacle to Trump’s agenda, but inherently dangerous to the survival of our country.”

A Bronx cop was stripped of his gun and badge amid allegations that he was drunk on the job Thursday — and as a photo emerged of him passed out in the stationhouse locker room with his beer belly exposed, The Post has learned.

Officer Richard Evans was deemed “unfit for duty” during his midnight-to-8 a.m. shift in the 52nd Precinct in Norwood, sources said.

“He was clearly inebriated. He was slurring his words,” a police official said.

Ironically, the first whiff of trouble came as Evans, 44, and his rookie partner checked out a report of a drunken dispute between neighbors, law enforcement sources said.

One of the people there accused Evans of being drunk, which he denied, and the officer summoned a supervisor, sources said.

Someone at the scene also shot video of the allegedly drunken cop and made a complaint to 311, a source said.

A sergeant responded, declared Evans fit for duty, and the cops all left without making any arrests, sources said.

Evans stayed in the field until a short time later, when a duty captain summoned him back to the precinct stationhouse near the New York Botanical Garden.

The captain interviewed Evans, declared him unfit for duty and immediately suspended him, sources said.

Evans was suspended without pay, said NYPD spokesman J. Peter Donald.

The officer — who earned nearly $126,800 during fiscal 2016, including nearly $50,000 in overtime — was described by sources as a problem drinker.

Trump on Russia meddling in US election: ‘I don’t believe it’

“Washington (AFP) – President-elect Donald Trump dismissed a brewing storm over Russian cyber meddling in the US election, rejecting as “ridiculous” US intelligence reports that Moscow tried to help him win the White House.

“I don’t believe it,” Trump said in a pre-recorded interview that was broadcast Sunday on Fox News.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump said, putting it down as an attempt by Democrats to find an excuse for their embarrassing election loss.

In the interview Trump touched on other issues — questioning US commitment to the “one China policy” without concessions from Beijing, and hailing Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, who is under consideration for secretary of state, as “a world class player.”

But the controversy over the latest US intelligence consensus on Russia and Trump’s skepticism of the findings dominated the conversation at a time of deepening political divisions over how to respond to the hacking attacks.

Two top Republican senators — John McCain and Lindsey Graham — joined leading Democrats Sunday in calling for greater public disclosure about “recent cyber attacks that have cut to the heart of our free society.”

“This cannot become a partisan issue. The stakes are too high for our country,” they said in a joint statement with Chuck Schumer, the incoming Democratic leader in the Senate, and Jack Reed, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

They pledged to work across party lines to have the incidents investigated, but other Republicans said the evidence does not support the conclusions that the Russian meddling was aimed at helping Trump.”

FLASHBACK: General David Petraeus Forming Gun Control Group with Mark Kelly

General David Petraeus is forming a gun control group with Gabby Gifford’s husband Mark Kelly.

The goal of the group will be to push national adoption of the same universal background checks that have failed in California, Colorado, Washington state, and Paris. In fact, Petraeus will be pushing the same background checks that Giffords’ attacker passed in order to acquire the gun he used to wound her on January 8, 2011.

According to The Hill, Kelly announced the launch of the group by talking about military members’ commitment to “protect our constitution and homeland.” He suggested political leaders now need to step up and “do more to protect our rights and save lives.”

Kelly did not mention that more lives are lost in parts of the country where gun control is most stringent–places like Chicago–nor did he explain how passing more laws that interfere with the exercise of Second Amendment rights is somehow akin to protecting those rights.

In addition to Petraeus, former CIA director Michael Hayden and retired Admiral Thad Allen have pledged to push for more gun laws with Mark Kelly.

“Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s tours of soul food restaurants and black churches to court black voters in recent weeks doesn’t seem to be paying off.

The turnout of black voters is down in many areas compared to 2012, including key battleground states, providing the latest evidence that the former first lady’s campaign may be circling the drain.

“As tens of millions of Americans cast ballots in what will be the largest-ever mobilization of early voters in a presidential election, the numbers have started to point toward a slump that many Democrats feared might materialize without the nation’s first black president on the ticket,” the New York Times reports.

The black voter turnout in the key state of North Carolina is down 16 percent in early voting. It’s a similar situation in Florida, where black voters heading to the polls in person has decreased from 25 percent in 2012 to a current rate of 15 percent, despite expanded early voting opportunities.

Also in Ohio, the early voting turnout is down and Trump is outperforming 2012 GOP candidate Mitt Romney at the same point in the election, the Toledo Blade reports.

“Polling shows Mr. Trump with a slight lead over Mrs. Clinton in Ohio – and outperforming Republican Mitt Romney four years ago. At this point in 2012, President Obama was leading Mr. Romney in the RealClearPolitics.com average of polls by 47.9 percent to 45.8 percent,” the site reports.

“At the same point in 2016, Mr. Trump is ahead in the average of polls by 46.2 percent to 45.2 percent.”

The apparent trend of unenthusiastic black voters comes despite Clinton’s pandering to the constituency through repeated visits to soul food restaurants and black churches in those key states.”

Republicans Accuse ATF of Covering Up Political Motives Behind GOP Office Firebombing

“On October 15, a firebomb was thrown through a window of the Republican Party office in Orange County, North Carolina, destroying property but killing no one as the office was empty overnight.

Local Republicans claim that ATF agents painted over a message on an adjacent building that read, “Nazi Republicans, leave town or else,” and would not answer questions about why the message was painted over. The crime scene was also compromised, with reporters and others freely walking around with no regard for forensic investigators. The creation of graffiti surrounding that office has continued.

“The ATF’s destruction of evidence in their investigation of Democrat terrorists tells us everything we need to know about our government,” conservative activist and North Carolinian Noel Fritsch told Breitbart News.

“The destruction of the ‘Nazi Republicans go home or else’ message is an attempt to cover up behavior of violent leftists bent on oppressing those with whom they disagree, and one wonders to what extent our federal government shares in that violent leftist agenda,” Fritsch said.”
