It  seems that the mainstream of America is finally getting it

They given up their worship of all things law and order no matter how totalitarian

They seem to have lost the idea that “You must follow the law”

Maybe they have thought about some of the precepts of ruling now that it has turned on them

“Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed.”

There it is plain and simple

If we don’t agree to your laws, they don’t work

Period

You can’t arrest us all, jail us all, penalize us all

In the end we far outnumber those “Lawmakers” who rule our daily lives, telling us what we can eat, what type of light bulb we can burn, how much water we can flush and how our children are to be raised

When it comes to the point that tyranny outweighs the security that comes with it, the consent of the governed is withdrawn

When our consent is withdrawn all the petty laws that are passed become meaningless

When meaningless laws are used to penalize people who refuse to consent then real trouble is set to start

Fear is not a good motivator in compliance with the law

It is about respect for that law and the fact that we as a people participate in it

“I know, I was doing 60 in a 30” is a good example

Take away the aspect of participation in the public good and that law becomes nothing more than a penalty that is imposed for being caught

Laws don’t stop robbers, thieves and murderers

Fear doesn’t stop them from committing crime

Nothing does

So, let’s see what happens when you de-legitimize the law for the mainstream of America

Let’s see what happens when all of the law abiding citizens of what is called “The silent majority” become disenfranchised from the law

Welcome to freedom: Arizona bill would make riding in a car without ID a crime

“A bill making its way through the Arizona Legislature could make it a misdemeanor to hop in a car, as a passenger, without proper identification.

Deputy Pima County Attorney Kathleen Mayer argued that requiring all passengers carry proper identification could help officers when they suspect a passenger is acting illegally.

House Bill 2305 prompted plenty of questions from members on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Wednesday.

Democrat Representative Jesus Rubalcava pointed out how easily the law could be abused.

“I have a problem with the severity of criminalizing individuals based on not being able to show an ID, simply just by being in the passenger seat of a car without a seat belt,” Rubalcava said.

“There has to be a reasonable suspicion to stop you. And the law already requires you, as the driver, to have a driver’s license,” said Mayer. “If everyone is buckled in when an officer pulls a vehicle over, and they’re not doing anything wrong, they cannot be compelled to provide identification.”

The committee voted to pass the passenger ID bill, but warned it may not have the same members’ support if nothing is changed to protect passengers’ civil rights before it goes to the House floor for a full vote.

As it’s currently written, passengers found without an ID could face up to four months in jail and a $750 fine.”

“The Cascade Mall shooting suspect, Arcan Cetin, may face an additional investigation related to his voting record and citizenship status.

Federal sources confirm to KING 5 that Cetin was not a U.S. citizen, meaning legally he cannot vote. However, state records show Cetin registered to vote in 2014 and participated in three election cycles, including the May presidential primary.

Cetin, who immigrated to the United States from Turkey as a child, is considered a permanent resident or green card holder. While a permanent resident can apply for U.S. citizenship after a certain period of time, sources tell KING his status had not changed from green card holder to U.S. citizen.

While voters must attest to citizenship upon registering online or registering to vote at the Department of Licensing Office, Washington state doesn’t require proof of citizenship. Therefore elections officials say the state’s elections system operates, more or less, under an honor system.

“We don’t have a provision in state law that allows us either county elections officials or the Secretary of State’s office to verify someone’s citizenship,” explained Secretary of State Kim Wyman. “So, we’re in this place where we want to make sure we’re maintaining people’s confidence in the elections and the integrity of the process, but also that we’re giving this individual, like we would any voter, his due process. We’re moving forward, and that investigation is really coming out of the investigation from the shootings.”

When Health Republic Insurance of New Jersey announced recently that it’s $46 million in debt and shutting down, it became the 17^th failed ObamaCare co-op since the Affordable Care Act launched three years ago.

Those failures – just six of the original 23 co-ops remain – have left hundreds of thousands of people scrambling for coverage.

Meanwhile, insurers claiming big losses are leaving some state exchanges — including Indiana University Health Plans, whose exit is expected to result in 27,000 Indiana residents losing ObamaCare plans in 2017. And companies still operating in the federal and state exchanges are raising premiums for next year.

Together, the developments are posing new challenges for Americans seeking affordable coverage, and show the highly touted overhaul of the country’s health care system is in some cases not yielding the savings President Obama once promised.

As a candidate on the campaign trail in 2008, Obama once said: “If you’ve got health insurance, we’re going to help that employer save $2,500 per family per year. … Those savings are going to be passed along to the workers.”

Nationally, though, premium hikes are expected to average 8 percent next year. Many insurance companies are seeking much more than that, for the exchange plans and those offered to employers.

Premera in Washington state is approved to charge 19 percent more next year. Rates across California will go up an average of 13 percent. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is asking to raise premiums a stunning 60 percent.

Long-time critics of ObamaCare say they saw it coming.

“That basic promise, that it’s going to make health care more affordable, it’s not making health care more affordable,” said Avik Roy, an author and Republican adviser. “It’s making health care more expensive, especially for the uninsured.”

The problem remains a risk pool with too many sick people and not enough who are young and healthy. Also, federal backstop programs, aimed at helping companies that miscalculated how much to charge, are now expired. So insurance companies need higher premiums to cover payouts to doctors and hospitals.

The alternative is pulling out of health exchanges, which many companies have been doing. In recent months Aetna, United Health Care and several Blue Cross and Blue Shield subsidiaries have announced they will be leaving many of the exchanges in 2017.

“That’s going to be the future,” said Roger Stark of the Washington Policy Center in Washington State. “What we’re seeing here is the beginning of a death spiral as far as exchanges are concerned as more companies pull out.”

Pulse nightclub “Gay hate” narrative falls apart after F.B.I. releases motive

“The domestic terrorist behind the Orlando nightclub massacre was motivated by a Pentagon drone strike in Iraq a month before the shooting, according to police transcripts made public last week.

Conversations between Omar Mateen and an Orlando police negotiator on June 12 were kept secret by FBI and local police until Friday. The secrecy contributed to misleading media accounts of the terrorist’s motives in the days after the killings.

The transcripts were released by Orlando police Friday after a Florida court hearing held in response to a lawsuit filed by several news organizations.

Mateen killed 49 people during the attack on the Pulse, a gay nightclub, and wounded 53 others. Police eventually stormed the club and killed Mateen in a shootout after talks aimed at convincing him to surrender failed.

During an exchange in the early morning hours of June 12, an Orlando Police Department negotiator identified only as “Andy” asked Mateen, who was speaking by cell phone from inside the club, to tell him what was going on.

“Yo, the air strike that killed Abu Wahid a few weeks ago… that’s what triggered it, okay?” said Mateen, who earlier in the conversation identified himself as a follower the Islamic State terror group.

“They should have not bombed and killed Abu Wahid,” the former security guard declared. “Do your fucking homework and figure out who Abu Wahid is, okay?”

Additionally, Mateen praised one of the bombers of the 2013 Boston Marathon, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and another domestic terrorist whose name was transcribed as unintelligible in the released transcript.

At other points, Mateen told the negotiator that the United States needed to stop all bombing in Iraq and Syria.

Initial reports from several news outlets reporting on the mass shooting variously described Mateen as gay, a “homophobe” and a “wife beater,” despite his having made claims of allegiance to the Islamic State.

The New York Times, for example, stated in an editorial three days after the shooting that the “precise motive [of Mateen] remains unclear.” The editorial then said it was “evident that Mr. Mateen was driven by hatred toward gays and lesbians.” Investigators later dismissed as a false claim that Mateen was driven to the killing spree by gay self-hatred.

The Orlando attack was the deadliest terrorist incident since the September 11, 2001, attacks. The FBI would later reveal it investigated Mateen twice but claimed there was a lack of evidence he was linked to Islamic terrorism.”

Charlotte Police Says 70% Of Arrested Protesters Had Out Of State IDs

Confirming what many had suspected when viewing the sudden and intense collapse into anrchy that occurred in Charlotte this week, Todd Walther, spokesman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police told CNN’s Erin Burnett:

“This is not Charlotte that’s out here.  These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals.”

 

“We’ve got the instigators that are coming in from the outside.  They were coming in on buses from out of state.  If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night.  I can about say probably 70% of those had out-of-state IDs.  They’re not coming from Charlotte.”
