At least is wasn’t a gas line. Been there, done that while working for a municipal water district back in 1979. Gas line wasn’t where the map said and there was no call before you dig number back then. At least it was a low pressure service line and didn’t catch fire. You’ve never seen a fat boy turn off the backhoe and evacuate as fast as I did when I hit that line.
