  1. I’m sure management told them that this would be the outcome.

  4. Slinging a cup of coffee across the counter and refilling the large coffee maker is not a skilled job. It should be a $5.00 an hour job with tips if someone is stupid to pay a tip and be happy you get free coffee and can wear your faded ink and crusty hardware and your palestine kerchief at a job.

  7. This reminds me of what happened to Peerless Woolen Mills in Rossville, Ga.

The place was booming, lots of employees, massive building, quite literally the engine that powered Rossville.

Talk of unionization in early 1960’s, I suppose, the owner, John L Hutchison, warned the workers that if they voted in a union he would shut the mill down.

    They voted in a union,

John L shut it down in 1961.

Threw a lot of people out of work and began the decline of Rossville.

    The town has never recovered.

  8. The real irony is that these dumbasses didn’t see that coming from a mile off.

Next time get a real degree in STEM or some other discipline that’s going to pay the bills. Oh wait, the reason they went with the degrees they did is because they’re too stupid for STEM or some other degree that might be useful which means they’re too stupid to code also.

  10. Unions are for skilled workers who cannot be easily replaced. I.e. people with something to negotiate.
