De Blasio, Mayors of London and Paris call for more Muslim immigrants

https://cdn.meme.am/instances/34373859.jpg

“In the wake of a radical Islamic terrorist attack on New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio is telling citizens not to worry about the threat of jihadist violence and pushing for even more questionably vetted migrants to be resettled in the United States.

De Blasio and the mayors of London and Paris co-wrote an op-ed in which they said terrorism committed by refugees is “vanishingly rare.”

The comments are not likely to go over well in a city on edge after the explosion. Police arrested Ahmad Khan Rahami after a shootout in New Jersey Monday. Authorities allege he is responsible for planting bombs in New York and near the site of a charity run in New Jersey.”

NYC Mayor Says Islamic Terror ‘Vanishingly’ Rare

Boy, these fucks just don’t get it

Oh, they get the whole Muslim thing

But what they don’t get is their  place in this when things go to shit

Dr. Drew: Hillary brain damaged

“Appearing on KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning, the hosts of the show were expecting Dr. Drew, known as “America’s most trusted physician,” to debunk claims that Hillary is having significant health problems, but Pinsky instead dropped several bombshells.

Pinsky said he and his colleague Dr. Robert Huizenga had already analyzed what medical records on Hillary had been released and were “gravely concerned….not just about her health but her health care.”

Pinsky noted that after her fall, Hillary suffered from a “transverse sinus thrombosis,” an “exceedingly rare clot” that “virtually guarantees somebody has something wrong with their coagulation system.”

“What’s wrong with her coagulation system, has that been evaluated?” asked Dr. Drew, adding, that Hillary was being given “weird” medication that could be exacerbating her health problems.

“So the very medicine doctors are using may be causing this problem and they’re using an old fashioned medicine to treat it – what is going on with her health care?” asked Pinsky.

Pinsky said the situation was “bizarre,” adding that Hillary’s medical condition was “dangerous” and “concerning”.

Dr. Drew also highlighted when Hillary had to wear prism glasses after her fall, declaring, “that is brain damage, and so that’s affecting her balance….tell us a little more about that – that’s profound.”

Pinsky pointed out that the treatment for Hillary’s hypothyroidism – Armour Thyroid – was also “unconventional” and that it has “weird side-effects”.

According to RXList.com, those side-effects include “severe dizziness,” while WebMD lists another side-effect as “tiredness”.

Dr. Drew emphasized that the health care Hillary has been receiving is totally inadequate, commenting, “she’s receiving 1950s-level care by our evaluation.”

“You gotta wonder,” concluded Pinsky, noting that Hillary’s health care could make her physical capabilities a “concern” ahead of the presidential election.”

Hillary supporters want to repeal the 2nd amendment

You must be prepared to take up arms to defend freedom

“The dimensions of our problems overwhelm the imagination. At home millions are unemployed and the growth of our economy has come to a virtual halt. Abroad, we are faced with powerful and unrelenting pressure which threaten freedom in every corner of the globe, and with military power so formidable that it menaces the physical survival of our own nation.

To meet these problems will require the efforts not only of our leaders or of the Democratic Party–but the combined efforts of all of our people. No one has a right to feel that, having entrusted the tasks of government to new leaders in Washington, he can continue to pursue his private comforts unconcerned with America’s challenges and dangers. For, if freedom is to survive and prosper, it will require the sacrifice, the effort and the thoughtful attention of every citizen.

In my own native state of Massachusetts, the battle for American freedom was begun by the thousands of farmers and tradesmen who made up the Minute Men — citizens who were ready to defend their liberty at a moment’s notice. Today we need a nation of minute men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of America, cannot succeed with any lesser effort.”

From the idiot that brought you ISIS

“OBAMA: I think the Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president. I said so last week. He keeps on proving it. The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family, that [General] Hayden — had made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of our country, the fact that he does not appear to have basic knowledge around critical issues in Europe, the Middle East, in Asia.

It means that he is woefully unprepared. This is not just my opinion. What’s been interesting has been the repeated denunciations of his statements by leading Republicans. Including the Speaker of the House, the Senate Majority Leader, prominent Republicans like John McCain.

The question they have to ask themselves is if you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him? What does this say about your party, that this is your standard bearer?

This isn’t a situation where you have an episodic gaffe. This is daily, and weekly, where they are distancing themselves from statements he’s making. There has to be a point in which you say, this is not somebody I can support for president of the United States. Even if he purports to be a member of my party. And, you know, the fact that that has not yet happened makes some of these denunciations ring hollow.”

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/08/02/obama_trump_unfit_woefully_unprepared_for_presidency_has_to_be_a_point_where_you_say_enough.html

My God, talk about unfit and unprepared

This  is the guy who gave us:

Corpse men

ISIS

Libya

Egypt

Crimea

The Arab spring

The part time Obamacare economy

The Iranian nuclear deal

A worldwide Muslim insurgency

The loss of Iraq

Millions upon millions of illegal immigrants

The Zika virus and a host of other central American diseases

The NDAA 2012

Cash for clunkers

The loss of the shuttle program

The largest tax hike in the history of our nation

A national debt that exceeds all other presidents COMBINED

And he claims that Trump is unfit?

Seriously, my dog is more qualified to be POTUS than Obama

Look below and tell me he is not

20160315_11

That is one serious ass Alpha dog that is firmly in charge where ever he goes

Look at that face and you tell me whether you think that Iran would have pulled any shit on him

“Woefully unprepared”

The only thing that Chairman Zero was ever prepared for was to subvert our constitution and try to wrest control of our country and turn it into a leftist utopian dream

Now his panties are in a wad because there is a serious chance that some guy who won’t play ball with the globalist elite is going to undo everything that he spent a lifetime dreaming about doing

What a dose of reality this narcissistic jerk needs

A community organizer turned politician who had the world laid at his feet and was so incompetent that he has managed to fuck up every endeavor that he has attempted

Talk about incompetent?

This asshole has been trying to lead us into a European style socialist state even as Europe collapses from that very same socialism

Even as it is proven not to work this Man boy who would be king is still stuck in the moldy tenets of what was spewed at him by his leftist college professors when he was twenty years old

When faced with the reality of a worldwide Muslim insurgency all this idiot can do is blather on about bigots and the “Religion of peace”

Talk about a lack of basic knowledge?

Look at this PARTIAL list of insurgencies:

Syria
Mali
Yemen
Somalia
Iraq
Pakistan
Southern Philippines
Sudan
Kenya
Uganda
Algeria
Egypt
Iran
Israel/Palestine
Southern Thailand
West Turkestan
Chechnya
Ingushetia
Uzbekistan
Krygystan
Indonesia
Kurdistan/Turkey
Northern India

Yes, this list is from 2012 and does not even include such notables as China, Indonesia, Nigeria, central African republic , Libya and a bunch more

The worst president in the history of our nation who has done more to damage morale, race relations, social relations , our world standing, our military and us as a people has the audacity to claim that someone is unfit for the presidency?

This bumbling idiot would have been forcibly removed from his position as president years ago if being unfit was actually a criterion for not serving

What an arrogant, egoistical, self inflating, pompous ass he is

And the best part about all of this?

He did this at a joint press conference with the prime minister of Singapore

That’s right

A sitting president trashing the Republican nominee for president

With a foreign leader.

I have to to stop now

Before my head exploes

Thousands of Turkey coup prisoners raped, starved and hogtied

Amnesty International says it has ‘credible evidence’ Turkish police are holding detainees, denying them food, water and medical treatment and in the worst cases some have been subjected to severe beatings and torture

“Turkish troops imprisoned after the failed military coup are being raped, starved and left without water for days, it is claimed.

Many of the 10,000 detainees are locked up in horses’ stables and sports halls – some hogtied in horrific stress positions, according to human rights campaigners.

Amnesty International has called for immediate access to prisoners after the coup a week ago which sparked a brutal crackdown and a three-month state of emergency.

More than 200 died in the uprising which aimed to topple dictatorial President Recep Erdogan – and 1,500 were injured.

Amnesty says it has ‘credible evidence’ Turkish police are holding detainees in stress positions for up to 48 hours, denying them food, water and medical treatment and in the worst cases some have been subjected to severe beatings and torture, including rape.”

Crooked cop uses “Hillary” defense

“A lawyer for one of the NYPD cops accused of doing favors for bribes — including mile-high sex with this hooker on a free trip to Las Vegas — said his client’s behavior was no worse than Hillary Clinton’s.

“It’s similar to what the FBI said about Hillary Clinton, and why she wasn’t charged,” said John Meringolo, a lawyer for James Grant, who pleaded not guilty in Manhattan federal court Wednesday.

“She was unaware she was committing a crime. Here, there is no crime whatsoever.”

Meringolo described his client’s alleged actions — swapping police favors for expensive gifts like the wild trip with prostitute Gabi Grecko — as mere violations of police conduct.

“There’s been similar conduct with private jets in the past,” he said, pointing to former Commissioner Ray Kelly, who he said “took a private jet” and then paid for it after the fact in order to hush criticisms.

NYPD Deputy Chief Michael Harrington and Brooklyn businessman Jeremy Reichberg also pleaded not guilty to several charges on Wednesday, including conspiracy to commit honest-services fraud, honest-services wire fraud, conspiracy to pay and receive bribes and the payment and receipt of bribes.

A grand-jury indictment was announced last week. Harrington and Grant now face maximum sentences of 40 years behind bars, up from the 20 they faced when initially charged just a few weeks ago.

Reichberg, who faces a potential 55 years in prison, has been accused of shelling out large sums of cash with his business associate, Jona Rechnitz, to police officials.

In exchange for the gifts, Reichberg and Rechnitz received “a private police force for themselves and their friends,” Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara said in an indictment.

Grant, Harrington and Reichberg were arrested last month following a sweeping 3½-year corruption investigation that has rocked the NYPD and reached as far as Mayor de Blasio’s office, which is being probed over its fund-raising.”

The first law of gravity : Shit rolls down hill

This is how a culture of corruption happens

“What about me?”

“If it goes for them , why not me?”

Everyone knows now that this entire Govt. is rotten to the core (Or peel as the case might be)

And now rules the land with no moral authority whatsoever

There is no righteousness left to the law when it becomes arbitrary

All that is left is fear of consequences if caught

Who is going to obey the law because it is the right thing to do?

No one

When the law becomes unrightous

The only duty we have is to restore it

Police deaths at historic lows, safer than being a bartender

“Despite what the media would have you believe, 2015 is actually the safest year for police officers in 20 years. Meanwhile, police killings of citizens are at a 40-year high.

While citizens and social justice groups seeking to curtail the trend of growing police brutality and state-sanctioned murder, police supporters around the country are seeking to debunk these reports with a combination of marketing, cherry-picked statistics, and misplaced nationalism formerly reserved for members of the military.

The following graphics combined show how serious the problem of growing police violence has become, and explain the false-narrative that has been constructed to convince America to ignore the problem”

“With the rise in the reports of people being killed by police, much has been made of the danger police face every day in the line of duty. It has become the easy explanation in an attempt to justify the erosion of civil rights in the name of job safety for those who “protect and serve.” But a recent report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that last year almost 4,600 Americans were killed while working, but only 79 were police officers. That figure places police officers outside of the top 15 most dangerous jobs in America, behind garbage collectors, taxi drivers, and bartenders.”

Not only are they safer than bartenders, but look what happens when they commit crimes

“When police are charged with misconduct or the killing of citizens, there is a tremendous double standard as to how they are prosecuted, and sentenced. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, only 1/3rd of charges against police lead to a conviction, while the conviction rate for the general population rate is more than double that. Additionally, of the officers actually convicted, only 12 percent are sent to prison, while the rest of the country has an incarceration rate 400% higher upon conviction.”

Dallas police shooting: Prelude to chaos

Nifty title ,huh?

I know ,I thought so. But seriously there are some heavy implications here

I am not going to comment on motive or anything else until we find out where Omar was last night about 10:00P.M.

The attack sound a little much for the Bowel movement matters crowd

But to be on point; Because of one shooting the Dallas P.D. was overwhelmed

This is how things like this get started

Every revolution needs a vehicle and that vehicle is chaos

It doesn’t matter who’s side anyone is on once the ball gets rolling

Imagine, if in the middle of the Dallas standoff, they had other participants who started knocking out power stations

And lighting fires

A small dedicated group of people could paralyze the city and plunge it into darkness and chaos

That is what happened in the Russian revolution

Chaos broke out in so many places at once that no organized resistance was possible

While the police were out responding to rioting their Police stations and homes were being burned down

There is a fine line between chaos and civilization and it is not the thin blue line

The thin blue line crumples at the very first blip of societal breakdown

Think New Orleans and you have the answer

It is the citizens themselves

Whether our side or their side, with relative ease that line can be completely broken

And right now the string is being tugged at

This is not the end of unrest and violence; this is only the beginning

Our country has become more politically polarized than at any time since the civil war

Our countrymen are no longer political adversaries; They are our enemies

And that goes for all sides involved

Me thinks that no matter who is responsible here, whether Isis, the far left or the far right

That this is a precedent and is only the beginning of more to come

Just remember history on this if it starts to happen

Think about how to react and how to survive

Take some lessons from history and survivors

And be ready if it comes

They don’t care what the optics are, they want you to know

They are Kings and they are not subject to the law

The law emanates from them, not applies to them

Why the meeting with Lynch and Bilbo with all eyes to see?

Because they wanted you to see

Why the leak to the NYT stating that Hillary was thinking about retaining Lynch in her administration?

Because they wanted you to know that they don’t care how it appears

Why would Obama and Hillary have such bad timing with their rally in NC, stepping off the plane just as Comey announced no charges?

Because it’s in your face

They are untouchable and they want you to know that

Nothing can be done to stop them and they don’t care what anyone thinks

Nasty, crusty ,old lying skank, Hillary tries to unsay what she said about coal

150220_pol_hillary-crop-promo-mediumlarge

Last month, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton vowed to “put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

On Monday, an emotional unemployed coal miner by the name of Bo Copley confronted Clinton on her promise, asking how she could claim to be friends of the coal miners while also putting them out of jobs.

“I don’t know how to explain it other than what I said was totally out of context for what I meant because I have been talking about helping coal country for a very long time,” she replied. “It was a misstatement because what I was saying is the way things are going now, they will continue to lose jobs. It didn’t mean that we were going to do it. What I said is that is going to happen unless we take action to help and prevent it.”

Clinton continued, “I can’t take it back, and I certainly can’t get people who, for political reasons or personal reasons, very painful reasons, are upset with me. What I want you to know is I’m going to do everything I can to help, no matter what happens politically.”

“I do feel a little bit sad and sorry that I gave folks the reason, or the excuse, to be so upset with me, because that is not what I intended at all,” she told Copley.

And here is what she actually said

“I’m the only candidate which has a policy about how to bring economic opportunity using clean renewable energy as the key into coal country, because we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business, right, Tim? And we’re going to make it clear that we don’t want to forget those people,” Clinton said.

“Those people labored in those mines for generations, losing their health, often losing their lives to turn on our lights and power our factories. Now we’ve got to move away from coal and all the other fossil fuels, but I don’t want to move away from the people who did the best they could to produce the energy that we relied on.”

—————————————————————————–

Totally out of context for what she meant?

WTF?

What does that even mean?

Is she having her second childhood and she is three years old again?

Get this line:

“I can’t take it back, and I certainly can’t get people who, for political reasons or personal reasons, very painful reasons, are upset with me”

It’s not what she said it’s “people who, for political reasons or personal reasons, very painful reasons, are upset with me”

Oh, Po Po Hillary, I think she’s going to cry because of the mean people

My kids came up with better excuses than that

And this:

“I do feel a little bit sad and sorry that I gave folks the reason, or the excuse, to be so upset with me, because that is not what I intended at all,”

“Or the excuse”

See? they were just waiting for a reason

An excuse to be upset with her

“Please, don’t beat me anymore. I’m just a poor woman”

Just turn on the waterworks and get it over with already

But now compare that sorry self serving load of B.S. with reality

“I’m the only candidate which has a policy about how to bring economic opportunity using clean renewable energy as the key into coal country, because we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business, right, Tim?”

“We’re”  *We are

“Going”

Future tense of the verb

*In the future

*”Put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business”

*Right Tim?

Now go ahead you old skank and try to unsay what you said and blame it on all the mean, misogynistic, sexist white men

What a lying crock of shit she is

Should I say now what I really Think?………

State flags with Confederate emblem removed at U.S. Capitol

“WASHINGTON — State flags, including the controversial Mississippi flag featuring the Confederate battle emblem, will no longer hang in the tunnel at the U.S. Capitol where each had been displayed.

Rep. Candice Miller, R-Mich., said Thursday the flags, which had been removed during renovations, will instead be replaced with prints of each state’s commemorative coin.”

This behemoth no longer consists of a conglomeration of the states

It now exists as a tyrannical bureaucracy who’s sole purpose is it’s own existence

What we have now is is the equivalent of Soviet style cold war rule

There is no representation and this election is removing the very guise of it

“In Marxist–Leninist states, the party is seen as “the vanguard of the people” and from that legitimizes itself to lead the state. In that way, the party officials in the Politburo informally lead the state.

Officially, the Party Congress elects a Central Committee which, in turn, elects the Politburo and General Secretary in a process termed democratic centralism. The Politburo was theoretically answerable to the Central Committee. Under Stalin this model was reversed, and it was the General Secretary who determined the composition of the Politburo and Central Committee. This tendency decreased to some extent after Stalin’s death, though in practice the Politburo remained a self-perpetuating body whose decisions de facto had the force of law.” Wiki

Feds to Fine Schools for Not Following Michelle Obama’s Lunch Rules

“The federal government is taking steps to fine schools that do not comply with first lady Michelle Obama’s school lunch rules.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service issued a proposed rule Monday to codify parts of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, which was championed by Mrs. Obama.

The regulation would punish schools and state departments with fines for “egregious or persistent disregard” for the lunch rules that imposed sodium and calorie limits and banned white grains.

A West Virginia preschool teacher was threatened with fines for violating the rules by rewarding her students with candy for good behavior in June 2015. The teacher ultimately did not have to pay, but the school had to develop a “corrective action plan” with training on the policies.

The government now seeks to make fines enforceable by regulation. Section 303 of the law requires that the federal government “establish criteria for the imposition of fines” for all the Department of Agriculture’s child food programs.”

Intelligence agency to use home smart devices for spying

“The US intelligence chief has acknowledged for the first time that agencies might use a new generation of smart household devices to increase their surveillance capabilities.

As increasing numbers of devices connect to the internet and to one another, the so-called internet of things promises consumers increased convenience – the remotely operated thermostat from Google-owned Nest is a leading example. But as home computing migrates away from the laptop, the tablet and the smartphone, experts warn that the security features on the coming wave of automobiles, dishwashers and alarm systems lag far behind.

In an appearance at a Washington think tank last month, the director of the National Security Agency, Adm Michael Rogers, said that it was time to consider making the home devices “more defensible”, but did not address the opportunities that increased numbers and even categories of connected devices provide to his surveillance agency.

However, James Clapper, the US director of national intelligence, was more direct in testimony submitted to the Senate on Tuesday as part of an assessment of threats facing the United States.

“In the future, intelligence services might use the [internet of things] for identification, surveillance, monitoring, location tracking, and targeting for recruitment, or to gain access to networks or user credentials,” Clapper said.

Clapper did not specifically name any intelligence agency as involved in household-device surveillance. But security experts examining the internet of things take as a given that the US and other surveillance services will intercept the signals the newly networked devices emit, much as they do with those from cellphones. Amateurs are already interested in easily compromised hardware; computer programmer John Matherly’s search engine Shodan indexes thousands of completely unsecured web-connected devices.”

Right, so I am paranoid because I have a GPS blocker on my car and tape over the camera on my desktop monitor camera.

Seriously, where is the end all to this leviathan?

Think JEB can fix it? Or Cruz? Or Trump?

Not in our lifetime will we ever see our republic restored to it’s original intent

Not when the bureaucracy just continues to add layer after layer of freedom robbing regulations

Congress Provides $1.6B to Resettle Illegal Immigrants Arriving at Border Through 2018

“A massive appropriations bill expected to be approved by Congress would provide more than $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S. border through 2018.

Congress would award the massive check to the government just as the U.S. is experiencing a surge in arrivals of immigrant children at the southern border. Last week, federal agencies said they were opening two temporary shelters with 1,000 beds in South Texas to cope with the surge. A 400-bed shelter is also to be opened in Southern California.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the Office of Refugee Resettlement at the Department of Health and Human Services has begun a process to expand its temporary capacity to house unaccompanied children,” the Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement last Monday.

The so-called omnibus spending bill would give $1,645,201,000 through fiscal year 2018 “for necessary expenses for refugee and entrant assistance activities authorized by section 414 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 501 of the Refugee Education Assistance Act of 1980, and for carrying out section 462 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, section 235 of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (‘‘TVPA’’), section 203 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005, and the Torture Victims Relief Act of 1998,” according to its text released Tuesday.”

You see?

It doesn’t matter which party is in power

In the end power is all they are after

They bring us the destruction of our nation and way of life

The time to re-claim our republic has passed

The time to restore rightful liberty has flown by

When the time comes we will never be able to regain them

All we will be left with is retribution

It may have to be on a payment plan

But it will be paid

Former Trooper Pleads Guilty To Stealing From Fatal Crash Scene

state-trooper-aaron-huntsman-e1406151162871

“BRIDGEPORT — A former state trooper accused of stealing cash and a gold chain from the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash pleaded guilty on Wednesday to third-degree larceny and tampering with evidence, according to the court clerk’s office.

Aaron Huntsman, 43, was the lead investigator of the Sept. 22, 2012, crash in Fairfield that killed John Scalesse, 49, of Orange. After the crash, Scalesse’s family members told police that they couldn’t account for some jewelry, clothing and cash. They later found the clothing at the hospital, but the other items were missing.

Huntsman took a gold chain, valued at $5,500, and $3,700 in cash from the scene, saying he would put the items into evidence, according to an arrest warrant.

When questioned by his supervisor, Huntsman admitted to having the chain but denied any knowledge of the missing money, the warrant says. Huntsman said he left the chain in the cup holder in his police car, inside a glove, and had forgotten about it, the warrant says.

State police later found $3,700 in cash, wrapped in a rubber band, under the front passenger seat of Huntsman’s car, the warrant says.

Huntsman, at the time an 18-year veteran of the state police, was arrested in November 2012 and charged with two counts of third-degree larceny, interfering with an officer and tampering with physical evidence.

Does it get any lower than that?

What a scumbag

The EMT’s gave him the money and chain for safe keeping while they were trying to save the guy’s life

“Then, prosecutors said his own dashboard camera caught him taking the cash to his car. When the Scalesse family asked about the belongings, he lied saying he didn’t know where they were according to the prosecutor. Pictures showed he even wedged the money underneath the front seat of his cruiser.

John Scalesse

Scalesse’s mother Marguerite recounted when she saw her son later that night.

“I leaned over and kissed my son’s still handsome face. I petted his beautiful hair. I told him how much I loved him and how proud I was to be his mother not knowing at this time that my son’s belongings were stashed under the passenger seat of Huntsman’s cruiser,” said Marguerite Scalesse in court.”

Over 1/4 of Americans believe that goverment is the enemy

WASHINGTON (CBSDC)– “More than 1 in 4 Americans believe that the government is the enemy, according to a new poll.

Pew Research Center found that 27 percent of registered voters say they think of government as an enemy, up 8 points since 1996. The latest poll looked at general public opinion regarding the federal government.”

“More than a third (35 percent) of Republicans believe the federal government is the enemy, while 34 percent of Independents believe the same. The poll found that half of all Democrats (50 percent) view the government as a friend and only 12 percent see it as the enemy.”

“The majority of Americans feel the federal government has room for serious improvement, with 59 percent saying the government needs “very major reform.” Only 37 percent of voters felt that way in 1997.”
