To serve:Louisiana DEA Agent Arrested For Dealing Drugs

For the second time in less than a month a Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested on charges of selling drugs. This time the officer involved was on the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration task force.

Authorities alleged that Deputy Karl Newman was stealing and then selling drugs that were seized in raids. State Police spokesman Doug Cain told the Louisiana Radio Network.

State Police received information that a law enforcement officer may be involved in the distribution of marijuana on the north shore.

Information obtained in that tip led authorities to arrest Newman on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and abuse of office.  Newman’s arrest comes just weeks after another Tangipahoa lawman Johnny Domingue was booked on drug distribution charges.

Ouch! Now that has to hurt two of them within weeks of each other
A few bad apples huh?

Shots fired outside of Sheriffs house, Sheriff blames Beyonce

“MURFREESBORO — Other than being the sheriff and a member of law enforcement, Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold doesn’t know the motive for shots fired outside his Osborne Lane home Monday night.

“We all know, as soon as you put your uniform on, you’re a target,” he said at a news conference Tuesday morning at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. “You make people mad when you’re just doing your job.”

Arnold said when he first heard the shots, he wondered if they were inspired by the Super Bowl halftime show.

When asked to clarify that comment, he added, “You know, Beyonce’s video.”

““We all know, as soon as you put your uniform on, you’re a target,” he said at a news conference Tuesday ”

You know, right there is the problem

All these cops are being trained that everyone is the enemy

Everyone they encounter could be the one that makes sure they don’t go home safe that night

Do you want to know the truth?

Being a bartender is more dangerous than being a cop

The whole war on LEO is a manufactured myth

“Despite what the media would have you believe, 2015 is actually the safest year for police officers in 20 years. Meanwhile, police killings of citizens are at a 40-year high.

While citizens and social justice groups seeking to curtail the trend of growing police brutality and state-sanctioned murder, police supporters around the country are seeking to debunk these reports with a combination of marketing, cherry-picked statistics, and misplaced nationalism formerly reserved for members of the military.

The following graphics combined show how serious the problem of growing police violence has become, and explain the false-narrative that has been constructed to convince America to ignore the problem”

“With the rise in the reports of people being killed by police, much has been made of the danger police face every day in the line of duty. It has become the easy explanation in an attempt to justify the erosion of civil rights in the name of job safety for those who “protect and serve.” But a recent report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that last year almost 4,600 Americans were killed while working, but only 79 were police officers. That figure places police officers outside of the top 15 most dangerous jobs in America, behind garbage collectors, taxi drivers, and bartenders.”

Yeah, dude every time you suit up you have a target on you

Maybe they hould take a look at what this Sheriff has been up to

Intelligence agency to use home smart devices for spying

“The US intelligence chief has acknowledged for the first time that agencies might use a new generation of smart household devices to increase their surveillance capabilities.

As increasing numbers of devices connect to the internet and to one another, the so-called internet of things promises consumers increased convenience – the remotely operated thermostat from Google-owned Nest is a leading example. But as home computing migrates away from the laptop, the tablet and the smartphone, experts warn that the security features on the coming wave of automobiles, dishwashers and alarm systems lag far behind.

In an appearance at a Washington think tank last month, the director of the National Security Agency, Adm Michael Rogers, said that it was time to consider making the home devices “more defensible”, but did not address the opportunities that increased numbers and even categories of connected devices provide to his surveillance agency.

However, James Clapper, the US director of national intelligence, was more direct in testimony submitted to the Senate on Tuesday as part of an assessment of threats facing the United States.

“In the future, intelligence services might use the [internet of things] for identification, surveillance, monitoring, location tracking, and targeting for recruitment, or to gain access to networks or user credentials,” Clapper said.

Clapper did not specifically name any intelligence agency as involved in household-device surveillance. But security experts examining the internet of things take as a given that the US and other surveillance services will intercept the signals the newly networked devices emit, much as they do with those from cellphones. Amateurs are already interested in easily compromised hardware; computer programmer John Matherly’s search engine Shodan indexes thousands of completely unsecured web-connected devices.”

Right, so I am paranoid because I have a GPS blocker on my car and tape over the camera on my desktop monitor camera.

Seriously, where is the end all to this leviathan?

Think JEB can fix it? Or Cruz? Or Trump?

Not in our lifetime will we ever see our republic restored to it’s original intent

Not when the bureaucracy just continues to add layer after layer of freedom robbing regulations

Happy Monday

This is a response to an Email that I got from an organization pushing the republican party
It’s Monday
I am hung over because I was medicating with Vodka after getting hit by a 16 Ft. 2″x6″ yesterday
I am an asshole
Happy Monday
Steve, I am a former political activist who has given up on the system. I am hard core 3% and believe that the system is so far gone that voting no longer matters. The republicans are no better than the Democrats and they are content as long as they are co-rulers.
The Republicans are doing nothing more than slow walking us to the Democratic end game. A Republican majority in both of the houses has done absolutely nothing but further the agenda of the Obama administration.
At this point, to put it bluntly and frankly, the Republican party can go fuck itself.
The party itself has now become an enemy of liberty, freedom and the American way of life
We now exist in a de-facto police state that is only going to get worse as time goes on.
My last vote, which I did very begrudgingly, was for Romney
It is, as I stated, my last vote
The political process is so broken that no choices remain
Never again will I vote for the lesser of two evils because evil is still evil no matter what
All the Republican party is doing is slow walking our republic to the gallows instead of the Democratic fast walk
It no longer matters who wins
Our freedoms are gone
Our independence is gone
Our way of life is soon to end
Being an American no longer has a meaning
Go ahead and vote
It won’t count anyway
Best regards and happy Monday, Jay

Oregon Fire Chief Catches FBI Agents Posing as Militia – Quits His Job in Protest

The below is from the free thought project here: http://thefreethoughtproject.com/oregon-fire-marshall-resigns-exposing-undercover-fbi-agents-posing-militia/

I have as of yet not independently verified the veracity of the video

I most certainly would not be surprised if it were true

Reports were coming out of Waco after the biker shoot out that there were Feds mingled among the bikers causing trouble

At this point I believe that they are capable of most anything

I am not one that is given to conspiracy theories generally…..But…..

There are things that happen occasionally that make me wonder……

Did you ever wonder why Timothy Mcveigh could plan out the whole Oklahoma city bombing, travel to other countries for help on detonators, test his products and then forget to put a license plate on his getaway car?

Or how about letting a lone state trooper pull him over, pat him down and take his gun away

He just killed a whole bunch of people, why didn’t he use the gun?

What did L.H. Oswald do when confronted by a cop after shooting Kennedy?

Damn straight shot his ass is what

Mcveigh destroyed the entire militia movement in the 90’s with his actions

I wouldn’t be too suprised if something similar didn’t happen again

“This week, Harney County Fire Marshall Chris Briels resigned after discovering undercover FBI agents posing as militia members near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, which has been the site of a standoff for weeks now. According to Briels, he found FBI agents who were impersonating militia members lurking around the town’s armory. When he inquired about the undercover operation with county Judge Steve Grasty he was told to back off.

Just before this discovery was made, there were reports of people who looked like militia harassing locals, which is uncharacteristic of the protesters who initially assembled at the refuge. It turns out that these militia members suspected of harassing locals were actually undercover FBI agents.

During an impromtu press conference, Briels explained how he was so disrespected in his encounter with Grasty and was so disgusted with the situation in general, that he no longer wants to work for a government that he does not believe in. Briels added that he would still be helping people in the community with fire prevention and other issues that he has helped with in the past, but he will just no longer be doing it as a government employee. Briels went on to describe how he exposed undercover FBI agents who had come to town and were creating problems amongst the locals.

When announcing his resignation, Briels described his encounter with the judge.

“I’ve been told by Steve to distance myself from this committee of public safety. I’ve been told that we don’t know what we’re doing. I’ve been told that my life is in danger. I’ve been told all kinds of things. I will not be told what to do. I have my own mind, and I will use my own mind, not somebody else’s,” Briels said.

Many activists and militia members are now suspecting that the undercover agents were planning to act as agent provocateurs and create trouble in order to frame the protesters for things that they did not do. This theory is supported by the fact these undercover agents were reportedly bothering locals and acting in a threatening manner.

However, mainstream media has reported that militia members were harassing locals, but now that version of events is being brought into question considering the fact that undercover agents were posing as militia. The looming threat of agent provocateurs may be one of the reasons why the refuge occupiers are turning away help from outside militias who have attempted to join the occupation.

As the situation at the refuge becomes increasingly volatile, leaders of the occupation have announced that they will soon be making plans to disperse, but they have not yet said when this will happen. Meanwhile, the FBI has said that they will be filing federal charges against the militia members that they have found evidence on throughout the occupation.”

From the Cato institute, Worst police misconduct for December: Accident victim shot and paralyzed by cop dies in hospital

“So for December we have selected the shooting death of Andrew Thomas in Paradise, California.  According to news reports, here’s what happened:  Thomas was seen leaving the parking lot of a bar and his vehicle didn’t have its lights on — even though it was late at night.  Officer Patrick Feaster suspected the driver might be intoxicated and so pursued Thomas to pull him over and investigate further.

No problem so far.  We want police to be alert for impaired drivers who endanger other people.

Next, Thomas did not pull over after Feaster was behind him with his police lights flashing.

Moments later, Thomas’s SUV crashed and his wife was ejected from the vehicle.  She died.

Next, things get even worse.  Officer Feaster is seen on dash-cam video walking toward the crashed SUV.  The video shows Thomas trying to climb out of the overturned SUV.  Feaster draws his sidearm and shoots Thomas in the neck and he falls back into his SUV.

After the shooting, Officer Feaster gets on his radio to report that the driver is refusing his commands to get out of the vehicle.  He does not mention that he shot the driver.  Feaster also reports that a injured woman is unresponsive, but the video shows that he is not checking on her condition or rendering aid.

Other police and responders get to the scene, but ten minutes go by before Feaster says he fired his weapon.  It is very unclear what could be the justification for shooting a man after a vehicle crash in these circumstances.  Officer Feaster says he was not threatened, but that his gun went off accidentally.

On a police body camera, Feaster is heard telling the watch commander that his gun went off, but he didn’t think the driver was hit because he wasn’t aiming his weapon in the driver’s direction.  Thomas initially survived the shot to his neck, but was paralyzed.  He died weeks later.

Despite community outrage, the local prosecutor, Mike Ramsey, declined to file any criminal charges against Officer Feaster because he said he lacked sufficient evidence to prove a crime in court.  That’s very odd.  Prosecutors would typically be relieved to know that the incident was captured on videotape.”

Two big headlines on drudge this morning

“Gun sales set all time record”

“New Obama rules require those selling even a single firearm to become licensed dealers?”

Isn’t this a little like oil and water?

With everything that is going on do they really think that this ill conceived albatross will fly?

I don’t see it happening

I see this pushing the weight past the tipping point and starting things on their way to the logical conclusion

The whole Bundy X 2 doesn’t have real wide spread support at the moment

But if it turns into Waco revisited it is really going to color the perspective of a lot of people who would normally not be involved

Let’s couple that with a new gun control push and see what happens

Copsuckers

“Our newly militarized police departments are being trained that every second of the day their lives are in danger when in fact that is not true. The police state is a more clear and present danger than federal tyranny and will in fact be used to enforce that tyranny when the time comes. The heroes in blue in New York have somehow gotten a hold of purchase lists from various gun stores and the state plans on beginning to enforce the SAFE act. Connecticut is next on the list and 50,000 illegal gun owners. So when I don’t jump right to the side of the very same people who are going to be arresting people for “Illegal” gun ownership, don’t call me a liberal.”

““Despite what the media would have you believe, 2015 is actually the
safest year for police officers in 20 years. Meanwhile, police killings
of citizens are at a 40-year high.”

“With the rise in the reports of people being killed by police, much has
been made of the danger police face every day in the line of duty. It
has become the easy explanation in an attempt to justify the erosion of
civil rights in the name of job safety for those who “protect and
serve.” But a recent report
from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that last year almost 4,600
Americans were killed while working, but only 79 were police officers.
That figure places police officers outside of the top 15 most dangerous
jobs in America, behind garbage collectors, taxi drivers, and
bartenders.”

My reply from the Breitbart comment section after I dared speak badly of a couple of heroes

Every time I don’t  agree I am accused of being a leftist

I can’t believe people that will back up the action of someone just because they are a cop

In the case of 12 Yr. old Tamir Rice the grand jury decided not to charge the cops who shot him while he had an airsoft pistol in his waistband

Fine, mistakes happen, but it doesn’t change the fact that it was in fact a mistake and never should have happened in the first place

But my real problem was that they never gave the kid first aid

They handcuffed his younger sister and put her in the squad car while they watched the kid bleed out

Four minutes later two more cops showed up and immediately administered first aid

And this is what makes them copsuckers

And worse

They were actually defending these assholes

“They thought he was still a threat”

“Oh well, that’s Darwinism”

“Don’t point a gun at a cop”

“Of course they didn’t let the sister help…Was she a medic?”

There are sides and there are sides

And if you are on that side

You are not on mine

Have fun Cleveland

Bill Kristol: ‘We’ll Have to Start’ New Party If Trump Wins Nomination

“I have said that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is the most effective Democratic leader in modern times” wrote Cruz in Politico. He added:

But don’t take my word for it. Take Sen. Chuck Schumer’s, the vice chair of the Senate Democratic conference. Today Sen. Schumer summed up what’s wrong with Washington when he told Politico, “Sen. McConnell wants to see the Senate work. But the good news for [Democrats] is, to make it work, he has to do basically our agenda.”

Cruz also went after the record of Republican leadership in the Senate.

“Since taking control of the Senate, Republican leadership has joined hands with a majority of Democrats to thwart their own caucus’ efforts to stop the Obama agenda 24 times. During each of these 24 votes, this so-called Republican majority successfully passed legislation with a majority of Democrats in support and a majority of Republicans opposed.”

Last week, Schumer gloated over the Democrats’ win in the 2016 budget talks, and declared that:

“Well, if you would’ve told me this year that we’d be standing here celebrating the passage of an omnibus bill, with no poison pill riders, at higher [spending] levels above sequesters than even the president requested, I wouldn’t have believed it, but here we are… Almost anything, the Republican leadership in the Senate achieved this year, they achieved on Democratic terms… Democrats had an amazingly good year.”

Nothing to see here

No sell out at all

The Republicans who infamously desire to be “The big tent party” could not give a crap about principles or anything else

As long as they get to be co-rulers and share power they are content with their position

That is why the party can’t abide Trump

Trump is less of a Democrat than John McCain

The difference though is that  it doesn’t appear that Trump plans on playing by the rules

And we all know that playing by the rules is essential to the game

Congress Provides $1.6B to Resettle Illegal Immigrants Arriving at Border Through 2018

“A massive appropriations bill expected to be approved by Congress would provide more than $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S. border through 2018.

Congress would award the massive check to the government just as the U.S. is experiencing a surge in arrivals of immigrant children at the southern border. Last week, federal agencies said they were opening two temporary shelters with 1,000 beds in South Texas to cope with the surge. A 400-bed shelter is also to be opened in Southern California.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the Office of Refugee Resettlement at the Department of Health and Human Services has begun a process to expand its temporary capacity to house unaccompanied children,” the Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement last Monday.

The so-called omnibus spending bill would give $1,645,201,000 through fiscal year 2018 “for necessary expenses for refugee and entrant assistance activities authorized by section 414 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 501 of the Refugee Education Assistance Act of 1980, and for carrying out section 462 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, section 235 of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (‘‘TVPA’’), section 203 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005, and the Torture Victims Relief Act of 1998,” according to its text released Tuesday.”

It doesn’t matter which party is in power

In the end power is all they are after

They bring us the destruction of our nation and way of life

The time to re-claim our republic has passed

The time to restore rightful liberty has flown by

All we will be left with is retribution

It may have to be on a payment plan

But it will be paid

I watched the GOP debate last night…It was great!

Former Trooper Pleads Guilty To Stealing From Fatal Crash Scene

state-trooper-aaron-huntsman-e1406151162871

“BRIDGEPORT — A former state trooper accused of stealing cash and a gold chain from the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash pleaded guilty on Wednesday to third-degree larceny and tampering with evidence, according to the court clerk’s office.

Aaron Huntsman, 43, was the lead investigator of the Sept. 22, 2012, crash in Fairfield that killed John Scalesse, 49, of Orange. After the crash, Scalesse’s family members told police that they couldn’t account for some jewelry, clothing and cash. They later found the clothing at the hospital, but the other items were missing.

Huntsman took a gold chain, valued at $5,500, and $3,700 in cash from the scene, saying he would put the items into evidence, according to an arrest warrant.

When questioned by his supervisor, Huntsman admitted to having the chain but denied any knowledge of the missing money, the warrant says. Huntsman said he left the chain in the cup holder in his police car, inside a glove, and had forgotten about it, the warrant says.

State police later found $3,700 in cash, wrapped in a rubber band, under the front passenger seat of Huntsman’s car, the warrant says.

Huntsman, at the time an 18-year veteran of the state police, was arrested in November 2012 and charged with two counts of third-degree larceny, interfering with an officer and tampering with physical evidence.

Does it get any lower than that?

What a scumbag

The EMT’s gave him the money and chain for safe keeping while they were trying to save the guy’s life

“Then, prosecutors said his own dashboard camera caught him taking the cash to his car. When the Scalesse family asked about the belongings, he lied saying he didn’t know where they were according to the prosecutor. Pictures showed he even wedged the money underneath the front seat of his cruiser.

John Scalesse

Scalesse’s mother Marguerite recounted when she saw her son later that night.

“I leaned over and kissed my son’s still handsome face. I petted his beautiful hair. I told him how much I loved him and how proud I was to be his mother not knowing at this time that my son’s belongings were stashed under the passenger seat of Huntsman’s cruiser,” said Marguerite Scalesse in court.”

“A former Oklahoma police officer has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting more than a dozen black women in a low-income neighbourhood he patrolled.

Daniel Holtzclaw, 29, was convicted of rape, sexual battery and other charges.

The trial heard that Holtzclaw preyed on 13 victims aged 17 to 57, most of them with police records, on the northeast side of Oklahoma City.

The 6ft 2in former Eastern Michigan University football player would often give them an ultimatum – sex or jail.

Mitch McConnell: Sell out extraordinaire

“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) dealt a significant blow to President Obama’s global trade agenda Thursday, declaring that a sweeping pact with 11 Pacific Rim nations should not be sent to Congress for approval until after the 2016 elections — and maybe not until after Obama leaves office.

McConnell, who previously supported efforts to enhance Obama’s trade negotiating powers, signaled that he was undecided on how he would vote on the deal, but he was clear that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) would be defeated if it were sent to Capitol Hill next spring or summer, as the administration was planning to do.

“It certainly shouldn’t come before the election. I don’t think so, and I have some serious problems with what I think it is,” McConnell said in an exclusive interview with The Washington Post. “But I think the president would be making a big mistake to try to have that voted on during the election. There’s significant pushback all over the place.”

We know that our votes don’t count

We know that the Republicans are complicit in the destruction of our nation, our morals and our values

Police Chiefs Say Scrutiny Over Videos Has Radically Changed Their Work

“Before the August 2014 fatal police shooting in Ferguson, Mo., of Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager, the effectiveness of most police chiefs was determined largely by crime rates and response times to 911 calls.

Now, chiefs say that cultivating better community relations — including everything from curtailing police shootings and eliminating racial profiling to requiring officers to be more polite and professional — has become as important a gauge of success as crime reduction, even though such work does not always easily lend itself to being measured.

“Police chiefs definitely have a shorter shelf life post-Ferguson, and they are more scrutinized and criticized for things they weren’t held responsible for before,” said Charles McClelland, Houston’s police chief, who said he agreed with the change in focus. “Pre-Ferguson, you were held responsible only for the crime rate — now it is community relations. One egregious act of misconduct by a police officer can get a police chief fired. It wasn’t like that before.”

As if in acknowledgment of the changed atmosphere, the authorities in San Bernardino, Calif., made officers quickly available to the news media after the department’s quick response to the terrorist shooting there last week, which killed 14 people.

The job of police chief has changed partly because of the dramatic reduction in violent crime since the 1990s, which, especially after the Ferguson shooting, has led the public to demand that departments shift their focus to police accountability.

“Since crime has been so low for so long, there are very high expectations in terms of what people expect of police chiefs,” said Inimai M. Chettiar, the director of the justice program at the Brennan Center for Justice, a nonpartisan public policy institute affiliated with the New York University School of Law. “Not only are they expected to keep down crime, but now they are expected to treat people with courtesy. That is new.”

I know that a lot of people think that I am beating a dead horse with the anti cop stuff I am now posting frequently

But I don’t think that it is

As you you can see from the above real change is beginning to happen

“Not only are they expected to keep down crime, but now they are expected to treat people with courtesy. That is new.”

I mean really, who would have thought?

But that is actually the point of the stuff that I post

The police state is out of control and has to be reigned in

I am sure that not every cop is bad, but I am fairly certain that it is not a case of just a few bad apples

From the evidence that I have seen I think that the bad cop has become the standard, not the exception

And that has to change

And between bloggers, activists and cameras

It appears to be happening

Chairman Zero wants to confiscate guns from all on no fly list

“If the federal government doesn’t want the 47,000 people on its No-Fly List to board airplanes, those individuals should be banned from ever owning guns, President Obama argued in his Sunday address from the Oval Office – but if his proposal ever becomes law, America could see U.S. Marines, congressmen, journalists and even federal air marshals mistakenly stripped of their firearms.

“To begin with, Congress should act to make sure no one on a No-Fly List is able to buy a gun,” Obama said Dec. 6. “What could possibly be the argument for allowing a terrorist suspect to but a semi-automatic weapon? This is a matter of national security.”

But while San Bernardino, California, terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook managed to fly to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia under the radar of federal authorities in 2014, thousands of innocent people have been mistakenly linked to U.S. terror watchlists. Some experts and critics contend the federal list process contains many errors and relies on an overly broad standard of reasonable suspicion.

‘No guns’ for congressmen, Marines and feds?

Under Obama’s standard, even the late-Sen. Ted Kennedy, an ardent advocate of gun control while he served in Congress, would be blocked from purchasing a firearm.

In March 2004, Kennedy was stopped three times at airports in Washington, D.C., and Boston. Airline agents told the senator he couldn’t purchase a ticket because his name was on a list, according to USA Today.”

Obama now wants guns from these 47,000 people

What a freaking idiot

72 DHS employees on terrorist watch list

“At least 72 employees at the Department of Homeland Security are listed on the U.S. terrorist watch list, according to a Democratic lawmaker.

Rep. Stephen Lynch (D., Mass.) disclosed that a congressional investigation recently found that at least 72 people working at DHS also “were on the terrorist watch list.”

“Back in August, we did an investigation—the inspector general did—of the Department of Homeland Security, and they had 72 individuals that were on the terrorist watch list that were actually working at the Department of Homeland Security,” Lynch told Boston Public Radio.

“The [former DHS] director had to resign because of that,” he said.

DHS continues to fail inspections aimed at determining the efficiency of its internal safety mechanisms, as well as its efforts to protect the nation.”
