SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) — A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Officer’s Association is calling out fellow officers on his Facebook page for snitching on an officer that made racial remarks at the Bayview Station.

The officer that was called out is now facing suspension for the sexual and racial comments in what now is a he-said, he-said within the department that is already under a lot of scrutiny.

Gary Delagnes, President of the San Francisco POA for a decade, and a consultant with them for three years now, took his frustrations to Facebook.

“Officers are now being encouraged to be trained snitches on one another,” he wrote.

Rousseff, a 68-year-old economist and former member of a Marxist guerrilla group who was the country’s first woman president, is unlikely to be acquitted in a trial that could last as long as six months.

The scale of her defeat on Thursday showed the opposition already has the support it needs to reach a two-thirds majority required to convict Rousseff and remove her definitively from office.

“It is a bitter though necessary medicine,” opposition Senator Jose Serra, tipped to become foreign minister under Temer, said during the marathon debate. “Having the Rousseff government continue would be a bigger tragedy. Brazil’s situation would be unbearable.”

As a presidential candidate, the amount of foreign cash the Clintons have amassed from the Persian Gulf states is “simply unprecedented,” says national security analyst Patrick Poole.

“These regimes are buying access. You’ve got the Saudis. You’ve got the Kuwaitis, Oman, Qatar and the UAE. There are massive conflicts of interest. It’s beyond comprehension,” Poole told TheDCNF in an interview.

Overall, the Clinton Foundation has received upwards of $85 million in donations from five Persian Gulf states and their monarchs, according to the foundation’s website.

Activist groups have charged the five states — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — committed numerous human rights abuses.

For years, the accusations have centered on the Persian Gulf practice of importing hundreds of thousands of poor foreign laborers who work for low wages, including hundreds of thousands of female “domestic workers” who have no labor rights and often face exploitation and sexual abuse.

 

The ongoing Clinton financial relationship with despotic Persian Gulf states could hurt Hillary as a supporter of labor rights and tarnish her image as a vigorous supporter of women.

Facebook censoring trending news

“Facebook workers routinely suppressed news stories of interest to conservative readers from the social network’s influential “trending” news section, according to a former journalist who worked on the project. This individual says that workers prevented stories about the right-wing CPAC gathering, Mitt Romney, Rand Paul, and other conservative topics from appearing in the highly-influential section, even though they were organically trending among the site’s users.

Several former Facebook “news curators,” as they were known internally, also told Gizmodo that they were instructed to artificially “inject” selected stories into the trending news module, even if they weren’t popular enough to warrant inclusion—or in some cases weren’t trending at all. The former curators, all of whom worked as contractors, also said they were directed not to include news about Facebook itself in the trending module.”

Last month, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton vowed to “put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

On Monday, an emotional unemployed coal miner by the name of Bo Copley confronted Clinton on her promise, asking how she could claim to be friends of the coal miners while also putting them out of jobs.

“I don’t know how to explain it other than what I said was totally out of context for what I meant because I have been talking about helping coal country for a very long time,” she replied. “It was a misstatement because what I was saying is the way things are going now, they will continue to lose jobs. It didn’t mean that we were going to do it. What I said is that is going to happen unless we take action to help and prevent it.”

Clinton continued, “I can’t take it back, and I certainly can’t get people who, for political reasons or personal reasons, very painful reasons, are upset with me. What I want you to know is I’m going to do everything I can to help, no matter what happens politically.”

“I do feel a little bit sad and sorry that I gave folks the reason, or the excuse, to be so upset with me, because that is not what I intended at all,” she told Copley.

“I’m the only candidate which has a policy about how to bring economic opportunity using clean renewable energy as the key into coal country, because we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business, right, Tim? And we’re going to make it clear that we don’t want to forget those people,” Clinton said.

“Those people labored in those mines for generations, losing their health, often losing their lives to turn on our lights and power our factories. Now we’ve got to move away from coal and all the other fossil fuels, but I don’t want to move away from the people who did the best they could to produce the energy that we relied on.”

Cannon fail;Been there , done that

Yeah, I had a home built 4″ bore black powder cannon

Had a hammer and sear and used shotgun primers to fire

I normally used 1000 to 1200 Gr. of Pyrodex and a 1 Lb. projectile

So I got uppity one afternoon and dropped 2000 Gr. in it and about 4 to 5 Lb. of lead shot that I had sitting around oxidizing in a big cup

What prompted this was the refrigerator that had taken a dump on me and was now squarely in my sights. Pay you bastard , you will

The wife popped out of the door  when she saw me hiding behind the Mustang in the driveway and inquired as to what the hell I was doing

When i told her that I had questions about whether the cannon would hold, I was summarily informed that the car would be moved from the driveway

I got as far away as I could when I pulled the string that dropped the hammer

The cannon was about 30″ long and it was mounted on an angle iron frame

It was attached with a massive hinge for attitude and so it would unfold when fired and not tear itself apart

When I did fire it the cannon unfolded and went airborne tumbling end over end

With the base unfolded the whole thing was about 6′ long and I very narrowly escaped having my head taken off

The refrigerator got a hole through it the size of a basketball and was blasted about 20′ back

Luckily the car was not in the driveway as it probably would have been totalled

Logic was replaced with foolishness and arrogance, and this led to one foreign policy disaster after another.

We went from mistakes in Iraq to Egypt to Libya, to President Obama’s line in the sand in Syria. Each of these actions have helped to throw the region into chaos, and gave ISIS the space it needs to grow and prosper.

It all began with the dangerous idea that we could make Western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interest in becoming a Western Democracy.

We tore up what institutions they had and then were surprised at what we unleashed. Civil war, religious fanaticism; thousands of American lives, and many trillions of dollars, were lost as a result. The vacuum was created that ISIS would fill. Iran, too, would rush in and fill the void, much to their unjust enrichment.

Our foreign policy is a complete and total disaster.

No vision, no purpose, no direction, no strategy.”

This is my life….

When I concentrate my brain power on things I can actually do pretty amazing stuff

I used to do experiments in pure thought when I was younger and found out that a mind concentrated on one single thing for days and even weeks could produce pretty astounding results

But that is not my normal life

In my normal life I am constantly driven to distraction and can forget in a single instant what it was that I was doing

I have the attention span of a gnat

I normally lose my coffee at least 3 times per morning

I travel with it in my hand and as I think about doing something ,my hand sets the coffee down without my being aware of it

I have become quite adept at hunting steam trailing into the morning air

This morning was a great example

Every morning after I pop a vitamin, I take out a muscle relaxer and cut it in half

I take half in the morning (Due to spinal injury) and half at lunch because the whole pill usually kicks my ass

I was feeling unusually tired and as I took a pill out I thought to myself that I would wait until the spasms started before taking it

So I decided not to cut it in half

Then suddenly SQUIRREL!

I noticed the wine bottle on the counter top was away from it’s designated spot

So I pushed the bottle up against the wall where it should be

And then threw the whole pill in my mouth and washed it down

Yep, So now I am half ass dizzy, tired and just wishing I wasn’t at work

At least I didn’t take one of the wife’s blood pressure pills like I did the last time…..

 

More than 700,000 boycott Target over transgender bathroom policy

” A conservative Christian activist group has gained more than half a million signatures and counting from people pledging to boycott Target over its transgender bathroom policy.

The petition started by the American Family Association on Wednesday raises concerns that Target’s inclusive stance on transgender rights encourages sexual predators and puts women and young girls in danger, because “a man can simply say he ‘feels like a woman today’ and enter the women’s restroom.”

The boycott has more than 744,800 signatures as of Tuesday afternoon, marking it as one of AFA’s most popular campaigns.

“This is the best response we’ve ever had this quick,” says AFA President Tim Wildmon, attributing the protest’s viral nature to the fact that “everybody knows who Target is, and it’s an easy-to-understand issue.”

Wildmon says Target stands “to lose a lot of customers who won’t come back.” But Target is standing by its policy.

“We certainly respect that there are a wide variety of perspectives and opinions,” says Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder. “As a company that firmly stands behind what it means to offer our team an inclusive place to work — and our guests an inclusive place to shop — we continue to believe that this is the right thing for Target.”
