“The shooter who killed at least 50 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando has been identified as Omar Mateen, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Mateen was a U.S. citizen with no apparent criminal history, was born to Afghan parents in New York in 1986 and was living in Port St. Lucie, Fla., according to multiple media reports.

Mateen had committed himself to ISIS before carrying out the bloodiest mass murder in US history at a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday, federal officials said.

Mateen “made a pledge of allegiance to ISIS,” California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, told CNN.

Schiff said the timing and target of the attack can’t be a coincidence.”

“Up past 50 now. At a gay nightclub. By an islamic terrorist – even the media and government is copping to that. During ramadan no less. Holy shit.

You know what? I’m having a hard time getting even interested in this, much less excited. I woke up about 6 this morning and passed the news channel saying something about “at least 20 killed at a gay nightclub in Orlando…..” and the only thought that went through my head as I continued on my bleary way to the coffee was “Huh. That’s a shitload of dead fuckers.”

And it’s been like that all day for me. I mean I’m catching bits and pieces of it from the next room – “largest massacre in US history… employed as a federal security guard… was already under suspicion… terrorism… weapons are too easily available…” and even I’m kinda dismayed that I just don’t care. I mean, this is some horrible shit. I should be outraged. Outraged? Hell, I ain’t even excited.

Largest massacre in US history? Not even close. Okay, this might be nitpicking here but Custer’s Last Stand was bigger than that. Just sayin. On THAT day in History the United States lost 274 souls – 268 soldiers and 6 indian scouts. Probably a couple of gay dudes in that bunch too.
How ’bout Waco? Seventy six men, women and children were massacred by the United States government. Y’all can pretty much tell how I feel about that, huh?
Then there’s the Waxhaw massacre, the Colfax massacre, the Mountain Meadows massacre, the…..
There’s more but I’m wanting to finish this and get back to my book so you’ll have to look them up yourself.

Terrorism. Over 50 dead. Damn… Yeah, that shit happens. all. the. time. in other countries. How can anybody be surprised when it happens here? What surprises me is that it’s taken as long as it has and it’s not more commonplace.
Can’t give the DHS credit for that – they had this dude under suspicion and he still did the deed. Nope, no credit for DHS, but there is a lot of blame on them.

And it was a gay nightclub. Big deal. It doesn’t make any difference to me as to what kind of nightclub it was. To be honest with you I was kinda hoping it was a gangsta rap joint. That might’ve gotten me excited.
Hey, I’m from California. I don’t care who you fuck as long as you don’t keep it in my face. Seriously. Do I believe in Gay Rights? No. I believe in Civil and Human rights for every citizen in the Nation.

Let’s not forget the guns being so easily available. Is that right? Can anybody out there tell me how much return fire there was from the patrons of the club? Uh-huh. There were probably a few gun owners there – unarmed gun owners.
Yeah, I know it’s illegal to carry a gun where alcohol is served. Guns in clubs are dangerous – last night proved that.
Our granddaughter’s school had a game day last month. They all competed in relays and games and barrel rolls, an all day event and all the parents and grandparents came to watch. Now this was on school grounds and I saw more men with pistols at that one place than I have altogether since I’ve been here. I’m not talking about guns printing against shirts, I was seeing revolver butts poking out of overall back pockets and bottoms of holsters hanging down below their shirts, that kind of shit. Those kids couldn’t have been any safer.
Me and Lisa and the grandkids went to the drive-in last weekend in Franklin and I started laughing as I was watching the pre-show crowd in the lot. Lisa asked what was so funny and I said “I was just imagining that headlines tomorrow – ‘Islamic Terrorists Attack Drive In Theater – 246 Patrons Return Fire.’”

Yes, this will be another gun control opportunity. Everything is. The government that brought you the Gunwalker scandal that resulted in the death of Brian Terry will uses this to try to disarm you. But that doesn’t surprise me either – it’s been that way my entire life. I cannot remember a single period in my lifetime when there wasn’t some sort of effort to strip me of my Civil Rights. I’m not outraged or even tripping on that – I’m resolved. I will not surrender my firearms.

Oh well, back to my book. I’m reading an excellent account of sniping in WWI in France. If you get a chance it’s called “Sniping in France” by Major H. Hessketh-Prichard. It’s a nice recollection of how and why sniping by the British in World War I evolved by the man that was responsible for the training.

Quad amputee Vet shoots himself after crisis hot line tells him to call back when he is less irate

Nightmare after nightmare has been documented when it comes to scandals at the Department of Veterans Affairs. But this incident is truly horrific.

Todd Nicely led a squad of 12 infantry Marines on a security foot patrol in Afghanistan when he stepped on an improvised explosive device, leaving him a quadruple amputee. It got worse when he came home – and attempted suicide after a frustrating round of calls with the VA Crisis Hotline over the weekend.

According to a Facebook post from fellow wounded veteran Bobby Henline, friends spoke with Nicely over the weekend and found out he was upset that nobody from the VA was there to help him.

Nicely then called the Crisis Hotline and was told to “call back when he becomes less irate.”

Henline wrote in part:

“Wounded Warrior Todd Nicely, retired USMC, quad amputee, shot himself two nights ago. My friend Greg spoke with him at 6pm and Todd was mad at the VA and USMC for not being there to help him. Todd tried calling a Crisis Hotline all weekend but he kept getting the runaround from them and they told him to call back when he becomes less irate.”

Fortunately, the gunshots were not fatal.

Corporal Todd Nicely, USMC, doesn’t take life lying down.  He doesn’t come off to anyone as a morose guy who feels sorry for himself.  That’s a good thing, since he lost most of all four limbs in an encounter with a land mine in Afghanistan in 2010.  He’s one of only five veterans (as of 2016) to survive the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as a quadruple amputee.

It’s essential to know this about Todd Nicely, before taking in the update that he shot himself this week after reportedly getting the run-around from the Veterans Administration crisis hotline.  He’s recovering, according to the latest news from Friday, 3 June; he didn’t succeed in killing himself.  But in frustration at a situation whose particulars we don’t fully know*, he did try.

Todd’s mother took to Facebook to post an update:

This is Todd’s Mom and we are trying to answer everyone’s posts and messages and voice messages as we can and they’re coming in faster than we can answer. Todd is doing fine he’s going to be OK, thank you for your prayers and comments and for being good friend to him.

In May of last year, Sen. Bill Nelson requested that the VA investigate the Crisis Hotline to ensure it is meeting veterans’ needs, citing reports that some were being stranded during high-volume call periods.

Nicely’s case doesn’t involve him being stranded, but rather he was actually told to call back because he was too angry. That’s incompetence that could have cost him his life.

Not very long ago, Hillary Clinton downplayed scandals at the VA that involved 30% of veterans dying as they waited for healthcare.

Now it appears they can’t even rely on a hotline designed specifically to aid them during times of crisis.

Man arrested after beating wife’s rapist to death with a tire iron

When the elevator doors opened, career criminal Earl Nash went down — for the last time in his life.

After trying to sexually assault a woman in her Bronx home, the would-be rapist was beaten to death by the victim’s enraged husband, who bashed him in the head with a tire iron, sources said.

The whack-a-mole mayhem left Nash with a fractured skull, his blood splattered Monday night in the elevator and a hallway, sources said.

Mamadou Diallo, 61, was initially charged Tuesday with manslaughter, despite his claims of self-defense in the attack in the Claremont Village apartment building. The charges were later reduced to assault, although prosecutors said they could be upgraded as the investigation continues.

Jury should side with Bronx man who killed rapist in self-defense

“He has a right to defend his wife,” said Katiatou Diallo, 38, who is not related to Mamadou. “What are you going to do if somebody comes in and tries to rape your wife?”

Ex-con Nash, 43, of the Bronx, barged into Nenegale Diallo’s sixth-floor apartment about 9:30 p.m., beat her with a chair and tore her clothes off.

“While it was going on, I was thinking I was going to die,” she told the Daily News about the ordeal that left her naked and cowering in the hallway. “He tried to kill me.”

Texas suing over Obama Tranny rules

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says the state will become the first to sue the Obama administration over new federal guidance for transgender students in public schools.

Abbott tweeted Wednesday that Texas will sue “to stop Obama’s transgender directive to schools.” The message from his personal Twitter account came hours before a scheduled news conference by state Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Abbott later said at a book signing that the lawsuit will challenge how Obama is “trampling” the Constitution.

Several conservative states have vowed defiance since federal officials this month told U.S. public schools to let transgender students use the bathrooms and locker rooms to match their gender identity.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has said the state is willing to forfeit $10 billion in federal education dollars rather than comply.”

Former Army Explosives tech busted with bunch of goodies

“A break-in at a storage facility in Parkville, Missouri, led to the arrest of a former explosives technician Friday after authorities discovered the man to be in possession of several unlawful explosive devices.

Local authorities received a call Thursday, May 19, about the break-in and upon arriving at Parkville Self Storage facility, found several lockers, trailers and vehicles had been vandalized. Located in and near one of the vandalized trailers was ammunition canisters, rocket fins, blasting caps, C-4 explosive and military grenade simulators, according to a press release from the Justice Department. Investigators learned the trailer was owned by John A. Panchalk, 42, who resided in Overland Park, Kansas, about 20 miles from the storage facility.

Panchalk, who spent a decade as an explosive ordinance disposal technician in the Army, was contacted by investigators, who noted he was “evasive” when questioned about the trailer’s contents. Authorities also noted Panchalk later said that he used the devices, some of which were inert, as training aids. Court documents indicated the grenades were fully functional, but was unclear on the other items.

When a search warrant was executed at Panchalk’s home, authorities found another 38 pounds of C-4 explosive, detonation cord, blasting caps, grenade simulators, incendiary devices and the two M-67 fragmentation grenades, which are required by federal law to be registered with the National Firearms Registration and transfer record”

Marion county sheriff arrested for perjury

“OCALA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) – Marion County Sheriff Chris Blair has been indicted on charges of perjury and official misconduct.

Sheriff Blair was arrested shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday and was booked into the Marion County Jail.  He has since posted bond and has been released on his own recognizance, said a spokesperson with the State Attorney’s Office for the Fifth Judicial District.

Blair was indicted on allegations that he made false statements during an investigation into a case of excessive force by Marion County deputies.  He faces two separate counts of perjury and one count of official misconduct, all third-degree felonies. ”

In one of the best exchanges she tells Trump that people fear that he is trigger happy and will start a war

She tells him that one of the best examples of what people fear about him being trigger happy is the tweet he just put out concerning the Egyptian air crash

Mika goes on to tell him how his hate is going to destroy the country and of course Trump turns it into a case of who the real haters are
