Epic fail! Poor, poor Hillary

Hillary Campaign Totally Ignored Dire Warnings From Michigan Ground Team

“The Hillary Clinton campaign repeatedly dismissed the concerns of its own operatives on the ground in Michigan, belittling their work and ignoring warnings that she might lose the state.

The staffers based at headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, explicitly ordered operatives in Michigan not to build a voter turnout tracking system, saying they didn’t care about those numbers because their own data showed her winning by 5 points. Perhaps more importantly, they dismissed in-person voter outreach efforts and distributing literature as a waste of time, and discouraged the collection of information from what contact volunteers did make with voters.”

““Operatives watched packets of real-time voter information piled up in bins at the coordinated campaign headquarters. The sheets were updated only when they got ripped, or soaked with coffee. Existing packets with notes from the volunteers, including highlighting how much Trump inclination there was among some of the white male union members the Clinton campaign was sure would be with her, were tossed in the garbage,” Politico reports.”

Clinton’s arrogant mindset apparently caused the campaign to miss key voter trends, such as the loss of white union members to Donald Trump in states such as Michigan and Pennsylvania. On the morning of Election Day, the campaign was so confident of a Clinton victory, staffers began drinking in the afternoon and making phone calls to potential transition team picks.

Trump on Russia meddling in US election: ‘I don’t believe it’

“Washington (AFP) – President-elect Donald Trump dismissed a brewing storm over Russian cyber meddling in the US election, rejecting as “ridiculous” US intelligence reports that Moscow tried to help him win the White House.

“I don’t believe it,” Trump said in a pre-recorded interview that was broadcast Sunday on Fox News.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump said, putting it down as an attempt by Democrats to find an excuse for their embarrassing election loss.

In the interview Trump touched on other issues — questioning US commitment to the “one China policy” without concessions from Beijing, and hailing Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, who is under consideration for secretary of state, as “a world class player.”

But the controversy over the latest US intelligence consensus on Russia and Trump’s skepticism of the findings dominated the conversation at a time of deepening political divisions over how to respond to the hacking attacks.

Two top Republican senators — John McCain and Lindsey Graham — joined leading Democrats Sunday in calling for greater public disclosure about “recent cyber attacks that have cut to the heart of our free society.”

“This cannot become a partisan issue. The stakes are too high for our country,” they said in a joint statement with Chuck Schumer, the incoming Democratic leader in the Senate, and Jack Reed, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

They pledged to work across party lines to have the incidents investigated, but other Republicans said the evidence does not support the conclusions that the Russian meddling was aimed at helping Trump.”

1 killed in shooting over parking space in Nevada

“RENO, NV (KTVN/CNN) – Police said one person was shot and killed near a Walmart on Thanksgiving night.

The suspect later took off.

Police said what caused the shooting appears to be a dispute over a parking space.

Lt. Scott Shaw of the Reno Police explained the incident.

“It looks it was some sort of road rage incident, we don’t have any other information that it was linked to any shopping activities or anything like that at this point,” Shaw said.

The Walmart where the shooting happened stayed open for black Friday shoppers.

Two French tourists dead after suffering heart problems near Great Barrier Reef

“The incidents happened in shallow waters at Michaelmas Cay about 11am as part of a catamaran activity, where 21 elderly French tourists were on board.

Passions of Paradise confirmed the incident and extended its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the French tourists.

“The Passions of Paradise lookout on the beach noticed a man floating in the water and pulled him to the sand cay where he performed CPR. He was then assisted by a doctor on the sand cay,” Chief Executive Officer Scotty Garden confirmed in a statement.

“The Passions of Paradise lookout on the boat saw a woman floating in the water and pulled her on to the catamaran where CPR was performed.”

Association of Marine Park Tourism Operators Executive Director Colin McKenzie told Yahoo7 that the pair had indicated that they had heart conditions before they got into the water.

“We suspect it was a medical condition but it will be up to the coroner to decide what happened,” he said.

It doesn’t state it but the pair were actually traveling together

Makes you kind of re-think the golden years bucket list tour , huh?

This morning they are saying that they ran afoul of jelly fish

Makes me hope that they were real asshole types and not just your everyday bread and cheese hugging froggies

But seriously, R.I.P.

Man finds 80 ballots all assigned to same address

“Jerry Mosna was gardening outside his San Pedro, Calif., home Saturday when he noticed something odd: Two stacks of 2016 ballots on his mailbox.

The 83 ballots, each unused, were addressed to different people, all supposedly living in his elderly neighbor’s two-bedroom apartment.

“I think this is spooky,” Mosna said. “All the different names, none we recognize, all at one address.”

His wife, Madalena Mosna, noted their 89-year-old neighbor lives by herself, and, “Eighty people can’t fit in that apartment.”

They took the ballots to the Los Angeles Police Department, but were directed to the post office. They felt little comfort there would be an investigation, and called another neighbor, John Cracchiolo – who contacted the Los Angeles County Registrar’s office. ”

Why were there only 2000 Mexicans at the Alamo?

Because they only brought two cars.

80 ballots at one address isn’t crap.

(I know, I’m racist)

Thought for the day…..

Through out history changes has never been brought about by the masses

Change has always been effected by the efforts of a determined few

From Christianity to the Magna Carta to the Soviet empire

It has always been the drive of a few visionaries who through sheer force of will

Have forced the change to come about

Yes, there is a point where the masses are involved, but only after they have been manipulated into the position of action by other forces

“The exercise of power is determined by thousands of interactions between the world of the powerful and that of the powerless, all the more so because these worlds are never divided by a sharp line: everyone has a small part of himself in both.”

Lies of Omission: A patriot/Freedom movement film

Image result for betsy ross flag

“I am a recent graduate of film school and in conversations with family members I recognized that there was a huge gulf in understanding the ideals of freedom. They would reference people I had never heard of and I wondered why.

There seemed to be an underground interest in freedom not discussed among my friends or in school, except to point out that this was a “free” country. But, was it? What made this a “free” country and if so many of the older generation felt that it was disappearing, why didn’t my generation know about it? Furthermore, should we care?

Armed with some contacts into this underground freedom movement, I set about to answer these questions through the best media I know: film. ”

“TL Davis of Christian Mercenary and Concerned American of Western Rifle’s Shooters Association are two of the most respected voices in the Patriot community today, both of them known for their honesty, integrity and level-headedness.

TL has alerted me to a project that both of them are involved in and asked if I’d give it a plug. It’s a film project and funding is needed to get this done.
After going over and watching the short video and seeing who’s backing it, I’ve decided to give it a spot in my sidebar for as long as necessary. I’d like to ask that you go to the site, watch the short 3 minute video and decide if you think it’s worth your helping out. Yes, I’ll be making a donation closer to payday when I know I’ve got it to spare.” From W.C. Here: http://knuckledraggin.com/2016/10/lies-of-omission/

That is some funny shit there

And my wife’s favorite of Paula’s

Paula Cole : Throwing stones

Yes I know it is chick music

But she is one talented little chick

We went to Gasparillo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasparilla_Pirate_Festival) in the late 90’s and caught her performance in a tented pavilion that probably held 150 people

When she gets to the part where she starts screaming “Liar ” and “Motherfucker”

She rips her clothes off until she is wearing a skirt?/thing and a tube top

Then she picks up a giant drum stick and uncovers a drum about six times the size of her self

She is doing all of the big bass, beating this drum like a mad woman and running across the stage to scream “Motherfucker!!!” into the Mic at the right time

I was a few beers down, but even taking that into account I was impressed and decided I liked little Paula

The reports of Swift’s death have been greatly exaggerated

Over the weekend news and video surfaced that the former HSV Swift, which had been leased to MSC for 10 years from 2003-2013 and is currently owned by Emirates-based UAE Marine Dredging Company but was chartered by the United Arab Emirates military for coastal transport, was sunk after a missile attack by Houthis rebels. The day after Monday and reasons to still get out of bed

Classical/bluegrass quartet made one of my poems into a bluegrass song

Geeked? Yeah, a bit. It is why you write after all isn’t it?

Below is about the quartet which is named Invoke

“If the goal was to make classical music relevant, it couldn’t have proven the point any more clearly.”

– Columbia Free Times

Described by one pretty important radio guy as “not classical…but not not classical”, bowed and fretted string quartet invoke continues to successfully dodge even the most valiant attempts at genre classification. The multi-instrumental band’s other not-nots encompass traditions from across America, including bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz, and minimalism. invoke weaves all of these traditions together to create truly unique contemporary string quartet repertoire, written by and for the group.

Invoke’s 2015 debut release “Souls in the Mud” begins with original works that conjure images of America, including the fast-paced opening track Travesty and The Trace (inspired by bourbon whiskey). The third and title track, Souls in the Mud, is an American transformation of a 16th century motet featuring banjo, mandolin and a bluegrass-influenced boot-stompin’ finale. The EP is rounded out by invoke accompanying a historic recording of a haunting traditional English ballad and two compositions by prolific American composer Danny Clay.

Since its inception in 2013, invoke has been selected as Artists in Residence at Strathmore, Emerging Young Artist Quartet at Interlochen, and Fellowship String Quartet at Wintergreen Performing Arts. invoke has shared the stage with some of the most acclaimed chamber groups in the country, including the Enso Quartet and the U.S. Army Field Band. Other performance highlights include appearances in Columbia, SC as honorable mention recipients at the Savvy Musician in ACTION workshop, on two consecutive seasons of the Common Tone concert series in Maryland, and as part of the Radical Sound collective.”

And here is a link to the track:

And the original poem:

Beneath the mountain

Leave alone what lies beneath the mountain

The labyrinthined caves and deep burning fire

Take instead the cold stinging creeks

The summer pines and pale blue sky

Take the rocky trails and sharp stone

And all the beauty for your eye

But don’t stray below and leave alone

What lies beneath the mountain

Beneath the mountain

Leave alone what lies beneath the mountain

The labyrinthined caves and deep burning fire

Take instead the cold stinging creeks

The summer pines and pale blue sky

Take the rocky trails and sharp stone

And all the beauty for your eye

But don’t stray below and leave alone

What lies beneath the mountain

This is the poem that was made into a Bluegrass song by a string quartet. I am still awaiting a copy of it . The concert recording at strathmore did not come out well and they are going to forward a copy when they record it in studio.
