3 Rome Georgia men now face domestic terrorism charge

“During the conversations online, they discussed using guerilla war tactics and planned to launch attacks against a metro Atlanta police station and several government agencies in February 2014.

The three men attempted to “recruit other individuals to join them and to carry out similar operations in those individuals’ home states.”

Peace allegedly told other militia members to choose targets including “road blocks, TSA checkpoints, sheriffs/police conducting operations outside the Constitution” as well as to participate in the “removal of government people who support extra-Constitutional activities.”

Why is it that whenever you buy explosives or hire a hit man that it always turns out to be a Fed?  Just wondering.

Cop shows off gun in elevator, accidentally shoots himself

Oops! Cocked and locked and ready to fire. I have heard of Glock knee before, but never Glock stomach. Looked like he was trying to impress her by showing off his gun.

It is super hard to look cool when you shoot yourself in the stomach.

Washington gun owners rally to violate new gun laws

“Washington state gun owners will take things to a new level, responding to Washington’s new gun control law. At least 5,500 are going to choose to openly violate the gun control  law, I-594, at the state capitol in Olympia on December 13th. The law goes into effect on December 4th, after the Secretary of State certifies the election results. No mainstream media source has mentioned the rare event, even though reservations increase every day.

Basically unheard of in the modern era; 5,500 people will willingly violate the law through civil disobedience, and violate felony gun laws. Washington is one of few remaining states that has stayed friendly to gun owners, but gun owners are outraged that a few billionaires were able to buy the election, contributing almost half the $10 million gave to the race to support I-594, which was right at 10 times as much as the opposition. Unsuccessful at coercing the legislature to pass the law, gun control supporters relied on billionaires to push it through as an initiative. Their money provided the funds to run non-stop misleading ads on TV.”

Are you willing to get your hands dirty?

“A week ago we FINALLY told them ENOUGH! Now. Will our words be shallow? Will we still expect our so called representatives to take care of it for us as we have in the past? Or are we going to get our hands dirty?”

The above is a comment from a reader. She makes a good point; what are we going to do if the Republicans sell us down the river ? Is it time to lay down and give up, or is it time to take a stand.

This is a fight after all and one with high stakes. Our very way of life is in the balance and it is going to be up to us to throw it one way or the other. If this is politics as usual then we had better be prepared to stand up to defend what we believe in ourselves.

The time for couched rhetoric and posturing will have passed. They are hell bent on destroying our culture, our freedoms and in the end our very republic. The time may well be coming soon, when it is time to take the gloves off and get our hands dirty.

Elections have consequences…….

I am no longer a radical extremist

““I say this to the militias and all others who believe that the greatest threat to freedom comes from the Government instead of from those who would take away our freedom: If you say violence is an acceptable way to make change, you are wrong,” he continued. “How dare you suggest that we in the freest nation on Earth live in tyranny! How dare you call yourselves patriots and heroes!”

Bill Clinton, speaking at Michigan State University’s commencement ceremony while considering federal regulations on militias, including registering and inventorying their weapons.

Back then, outside of militia circles, I was a lone voice in the wilderness. No one much cared or paid attention to constitutional issues. I was looked at by most of those around me as a radical and extremist because of my beliefs.

Now I have plenty of company. I am almost mainstream, unless you believe the SPLC. LOL

Women

My wife just won’t believe that I just loaded up and put my AMD-65 in the truck and went back to work because it is bring your gun to work day.

She came out in the driveway with a nervous look on her face and started playing 20 questions with me. “Is everything alright” Yes babe it’s fine, it’s bring your gun to work day. “Did someone threaten you?” No, I told you everything is fine. “Well, I have a lump here in my chest now, Did someone try to break in? Is there something I don’t know? ” Babe, everything is cool, can’t a man just visit his gun occasionally ?  “Maybe you should just turn off for awhile, skip the news and stuff today, just let everything ride ” It’s cool, really, it’s just bring your gun to work day .

I pull out of the driveway and she waves, still looking a little nervous as I leave. It’s not like she never heard of bring your gun to work day before, right?

That’s the beauty of owning your own business; you can declare whatever day you want. If you want to declare “Everybody gets off early and drinks beer” day, you can. We have have everyone shoots fireworks at each other day, everyone comes in late day and various others. We also have bring your gun to work day.

When I say “Bring your gun” I don’t mean your personal protection piece; That is every day. I mean bring your favorite or your best or your baddest.

I brought my favorite. Can’t a guy like his gun and tote it around with him if he wants? Hell, when the dog was alive I took her to work with me everyday. Can’t a guy like his gun as much as he likes his dog?

She finally seemed to chill out a little  when I reminded her of the poem I wrote called “Got my gun back” which I wrote after she caught me fondling same said weapon after a 2 months absence……… Women.

Got my gun back

She said I missed you
And I did
She saw the way I touched you
You felt so good in my hands
That I couldn’t hide it
Like part of me
You and I
Lightning, clouds and thunder
Raining brass from the sky
Death no longer silent
But screaming in joy
Barking it out loudly
Singing to the world
Stirring dust devils
In the distance
As we dance

Who’s afraid of some old fart?

You are alright as long as you don’t let this dude get to his gun

This is what my wife wants

trenchlarge2BAnd she Doesn’t only want one. She wants two, one for each hand.

I know.

I love her.

Obama renews call for gun control

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/217836-obama-renews-call-for-gun-control-on-anniversary-of-navy-yard
“President Obama called on Americans to renew the push for gun-control legislation in a statement Tuesday marking the one-year anniversary of the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard.

“One year ago, 12 Americans went to work to protect and strengthen the country they loved,” Obama said. “Today, we must do the same — rejecting atrocities like these as the new normal and renewing our call for common-sense reforms that respect our traditions while reducing the gun violence that shatters too many American families every day.”

The 2013 shooting at the headquarters of the Naval Sea Systems Command left 12 individuals and the lone shooter, a civilian contractor, dead. Eight others were injured in the attack, the second deadliest mass murder on a U.S. military facility.”

Please Mr. President, please…..Just use your pen and phone.

Bow down, Dingy Harry speaks

Harry Reid said something interesting yesterday in response to the Bundy ranch drama. He stated that it is not over because “We can’t have an American people who break the law”. What is interesting is the all inclusive “An American people”. He isn’t referring to some people or individuals, but rather the people as a whole.    This flies in the face of everything that America stands for. When the people as a whole reject laws, there is a problem. It is supposed to be our voices in Washington, by proxy, passing those laws, so of course we wouldn’t break them.    Instead, what we have are a bunch of arrogant, self serving, rat-bastards doing as they please and stifling our freedom with onerous laws. It is with complete confidence and arrogance that Reid states this.” Why of course we are going to force the people to do as we say.” You know, I was ambivalent about the whole Bundy thing until I saw the first amendment pens that had been set up. That was the turning point that made me jump on a side. It is that type of unmitigated arrogance that I am talking about. They actually thought that people were going to line up and get into a pen and angrily wave signs in the air. I am sure that this is far from over, but what Reid didn’t notice is that there is a different drum beating that people are marching to. The people couldn’t give 2 craps about Harry Reids laws and the BLM 1st amendment zones anymore. Fuck you Harry, Fuck you very much.

The second stand on Lexington green

It had been a hard and sleepless night for the weary men on Lexington green. It had been a night of false musters and muddled information. Half of the 140 men had gone home after being called out prematurely on information that British troops would be arriving early. The remaining men awaited the arrival of up to 700 British troops that had been sent out to disarm the patriot militias, confiscate their powder and arrest their leaders, who had recently been charged with treason. These were ordinary men who stood there on that green and waited. They were tired and disheveled and had lives and wives and farms and children to tend to. They were men who could have been many other places, but chose instead to heed the call of the muster and await their fate on that damp morning. With British troops marching steadily towards Lexington this small contingent of men, with extraordinary bravery and valor, had decided that they would not allow the Brits to disarm them. They were being led by Capt. John Parker and certainly were not spoiling for a fight. Accurate accounts had come to them of British troop strength and they knew that they were gravely outnumbered. More patriot troops were mustering, but were heading towards Concord where the main goal of the British lay. These men stood through the dark night, through fear and trepidation, through doubt and anxiety, until they could hear the marching of the enemy coming upon them. This band of ordinary men had decided that they would defy the British troops that so greatly outnumbered them, defy their God given king and be damned if they would be disarmed of their weapons. When finally faced by the British they were told to disperse and disarm or face the consequences. The men themselves held rank and appeared ready for battle; their battle line did not waver and they awaited the command to fire. Capt. Parker, however, was a good leader and had no suicide mission in mind for the men under his care. He knew that they faced annihilation in full confrontation with the British force and gave them the order to disperse. He also gave them the order to retain their weapons and the order was followed to the man without a single weapon being laid down. Somewhere in the following confusion a shot was fired and then numerous shots were exchanged, with the patriot militia falling back and scrambling for cover as they fired. It was not a large battle, but the shot that started it fell into legend and became the shot heard round the world. But it wasn’t the shot itself that mattered; it was the men who stood that long night in utter and stark defiance of the King and his army who mattered. Those men who would stand to wait and fight and die for liberty are the ones who mattered. Their ideals as men, as patriots, as Americans are what inspired those who followed to fight on. Their lofty idea, that they would remain free men or die defending their liberty travelled through the colonies faster than the sound of the gunshot. That handful of men, ordinary men; fathers, brothers, sons, husbands, craftsmen, laborers and farmers inspired a generation to war and victory. Now it would seem that we have the Brits marching again on Lexington, their boot steps echoing through history. But this time they are Brits in spirit and intent only, as their goal is the same though they wear a different uniform. The armed citizenry of Connecticut have decided that they are going to make their stand against the tyranny of their own Govt. They have decided that they will not be disarmed, or forced to register their weapons by the state. They have now been declared criminals, by the hundreds of thousands, as were the leaders of the revolution. It is ironic that the very same state that harbored the fugitive fathers or our own rebellion would become the tyrannical British. Their citizens though, have decided to make their stand, their Lexington green, and now dare the authorities to make good on their laws and raid their homes for their “Unregistered” weapons. Just like the first time though, this is not just about them. This is not just about some tired and nervous men waiting for a SWAT team to show up and end the life that they have. This is not just about some brave men who have chosen to make a stand and wait, exhausted, through the long dark night. This is about all of our liberties and freedom; yours and mine and theirs. This isn’t about Connecticut; this is about our natural rights that have been bestowed upon us by our creator. This is about the right to defend yourself against harm, crime and tyranny itself. This is the right to eat and the right to live and the right to fight if threatened. These are all of rights at stake, as they are under assault nationwide. A right lost in one place will soon be lost in another and never regained. There are men mustering again on the green. I am sure that they are frightened for they are risking all that they have. I am sure that they have uncertainty for they are facing prison and the loss of their families. But they are standing, and proudly, upon that hallowed ground awaiting the sound of marching troops, awaiting their fate…. In utter defiance. When that first shot that is fired, that surely will echo as loudly as the original, will you heed it? Will you let them stand on their own? When the first of the patriot blood is spilled, will you stay home? Do you have more important things to do? Ask yourself this; When the muster is called will you be willing to wait the night out on that green? Are you willing at all cost to have liberty? I can only hope that the answer is “I will be the first one there”. I certainly know where I will be.

The Indomitable Spirit of An Armed Citizenry

From TL Davis

Original here: http://christianmerc.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-indomitable-spirit-of-armed.html

It is painful to watch the last spasms of America playing out as clearly as if reading it from history. America is not just a place, it is a set of ideals so successful that it is easy to let one or two slide in the interest of peace. While the true ideal of liberty might be able to take a body blow now and then, it is always with the understanding that there will be a counter-punch that will set things right. The clear decline of America is that it has stopped counter-punching and is just lying on the ropes being pummeled by a merciless federal government. The government has been so focused on landing one blow after another that it has become confident of a knockout. It will succeed in stripping every last vestige of liberty from the people once and for all. But, that changes the game.

When there is no hope of recovery, when each person looks at life as an endless string of abuses heaped on it by the rulers (who have long since ceased to be representatives) the only thing left to the individual is to fight.

The lessons being learned now in Connecticut and perhaps New Jersey and New York is that once the veil of legitimacy falls from the rulers and they are exposed as mere tyrants there is nothing of the state left to protect them. Passing laws is now and always has been with the consent of the governed. This is not an American truth, it is a universal truth.

Americans don’t like to think of themselves as giving consent to all of the laws they detest, but the power is always within them to defy those laws. There is the illusion of voting that generally keeps the majority mollified and tolerant of the actions of elected representatives, but when that illusion fades and it becomes obvious that anyone who holds office will act in the same manner as those just put out of office, the reality of the corruption becomes inescapable.

When it comes to the violation of rights, there is no law that is legal and there is no protection from the voting booth that will allow it. When it comes to the Second Amendment, there can be no room for tolerance, because the Second Amendment is the only right capable of securing the others. This is why the stand must be made and why now the crucial test of legitimacy is being played out in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

The question in Connecticut is no less than the question of the republic. Does it stand, or does it fall? Do rights mean something, or nothing? Are we slaves, or free? Are the people the final arbiter of their rights, or are they serfs bound to the dictates of political judges paid by the federal government?

No human being is without these inalienable rights, it is just a matter of enforcement. Policemen are just that, police. They like to be called law enforcement now, but they are not law enforcement, the people are the enforcers of the law. They enforce it with compliance, or they enforce their rights with disobedience. They have been silent for all these past decades and their silence has led to this confrontation.

Possible Ebola case in Canada

Just what you want to hear in the morning. Makes you want to sing we are the world and hold hands with some African. One of the many downsides to globalization.  This is the first time that Ebola has crossed the borders and left Guinea with six suspected cases in Liberia.      I can’t help but have my suspicions with the human hating leftists and their population control schemes.

Feinstein pushes the fold, calls for civil war

http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/20/dianne-feinstein-pushes-for-semi-automatic-rifle-import-ban-based-on-45-year-old-law/

Do you think they are done? They are not. Diane Feinstein has written a letter to the dear leader demanding that he make 2014 a year of action.  In Feinstein’s letter she calls for an import ban on assault weapons and additionally “Prohibit semiautomatic rifles with fixed magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds”

How would they enforce that if passed?  Do the math yourself.     So, you want a year of action? Go ahead, we dare you. Not one more inch.

Conn. cop who wanted to “Kick down your door” under 24 hr. gaurd after death threats

Seems he didn’t like having his address and phone number listed on WRSA. The cops could have saved a lot of money by weeding assholes like him out. Now they have to spend a ton of OT to keep the bigmouth from getting torched and shot in the middle of the night.

Freedom Outpost reached out to John Cinque, who spoke with us this morning and confirmed that the threats he was speaking about were towards the Branford Police, not towards him.

“The cops are having the threats…. they are scared,” he told us.

Obama threatens to veto bill that requires him to follow the law

http://washingtonexaminer.com/obama-threatens-vetoes-of-bills-requiring-him-to-follow-the-law/article/2545545

President Obama is threatening to veto a law that would allow Congress to sue him in federal courts for arbitrarily changing or refusing to enforce federal laws because it “violates the separation of powers” by encroaching on his presidential authority.

“[T]he power the bill purports to assign to Congress to sue the President over whether he has properly discharged his constitutional obligation to take care that the laws be faithfully executed exceeds constitutional limitations,” the White House Office of Management and Budget said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy. “Congress may not assign such power to itself, nor may it assign to the courts the task of resolving such generalized political disputes.”

Who is surprised?

Cracks beginning to appear? HHS head says Obamacare sign up deadline cannot be moved. Enrollment deadline still March 31

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/hhs-we-lack-statutory-authority-extend-obamacares-open-enrollment-period_784621.html

On a conference call with reporters Tuesday afternoon, officials at the Department of Health and Human Services insisted that March 31 is the firm deadline to sign up for Obamacare. “We have no plans to extend the open enrollment period,” HHS official Julie Bataille said. “In fact, we don’t actually have the statutory authority to extend the open enrollment period in 2014.”

What’s up with that? Did someone decide to flout the authority of the dear leader and remind him that the law is the law? Did someone finally grow a pair of balls and decide to resist? Maybe;  I guess we will see if this is getting set up for a court battle. (Think classic Batman narration) Find out on the next episode.

Multiple unreported incidents on power grid raise security concerns

http://freebeacon.com/report-u-s-electric-grid-inherently-vulnerable-to-sabotage/

“The electrical grid—a network of power generating plants, transmission lines, substations, and distribution lines—is inherently vulnerable,” the report said.

“Transmission substations are critical links in the electrical grid, making it possible for electricity to move long distances and serving as hubs for intersecting power lines,” according to the report. “Many of the grid’s important components sit out in the open, often in remote locations, protected by little more than cameras and chain-link fences.”

Hmm….. Wonder what could be causing that? Terrorists? Dissidents? Revolutionaries? Nah.. I’ll bet it was that Bob Owens guy again. LOL

From TL Davis: “Will I go to Connecticut? it is my duty”

Ours to defend

“There are some hard truths to be faced in the coming weeks. Ukraine is instructive to people who will go to the barricades and face down a tyrant. Connecticut is instructive to people who will stand before the blue line of the tyrant’s muscle and give themselves to expose the demon’s face. Ruby Ridge and Waco are instructive to people who will hunker down and separate themselves from society in order to survive.

Then, there are those who will wait on the Supreme Court to rule that all of the Second Amendment infringements are unconstitutional and make the government forces stand down. They will wait for the Supreme Court to rule that the NSA spying is unconstitutional and make the government stop it. They will wait for the Supreme Court to rule that Obamacare violates the First Amendment rights to freedom of religion and the “free exercise thereof” clause.”
