Now that’s standing up for what you believe in

“Colin Kaepernick says that, from now on, he will be standing when the national anthem is played before NFL games.

It’s beginning to look like he’ll be in civilian clothes and standing in front of his seat in a stadium or in front of the TV in his living room and not wearing an NFL team’s uniform and standing on the sideline.

Kaepernick has been a free agent for a few months now, and he hasn’t found a team that needs him to play quarterback.

Actually, there may be a few teams who need him to play quarterback because he might be better than the one they have. He’s definitely better than more than a few backup quarterbacks, including Landry Jones of the Steelers.

He just hasn’t found a team that wants him.

Why would he or anyone else be surprised by this?

Kaepernick made the decision to kneel during the playing of the national anthem beginning with San Francisco 49ers preseason games last Summer.

He said he did it because, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. This is bigger than football.”

Wearing a Fidel Castro T-shirt at the time that he said it wasn’t a very good idea.”

What an asshole

As soon as there are repercussions to his actions he backs off

That’s how it works, huh?

When the going gets tough the tough give up?

You would have made a fine revolutionary son

Comrade Don Jones was scheduled for re-education after a disagreement with the party on Sunday. Reportedly comrade Jones said “OMG” after learning that another player had been accepted into the official party. Jones immediately apologized after realizing that his “OMG” had caught the attention of party officials and he was being accused of dissent.    Jones has been removed from play and will receive no party money or accolades until his re-education is complete.   The leader of the Dolphin party commented “We were disappointed to read Don’s tweets,” coach Joe Philbin said in a statement. “They were inappropriate and unacceptable, and we regret the negative impact these comments had on such an important weekend for the NFL. We met with Don today about respect, discrimination and judgment. These comments are not consistent with the values and standards of our program.”   Jones will be returned to the program on a probationary trial until it is proven that his re-education  has properly altered his thoughts and behavior.

Seriously, if you watch the NFL don’t complain about anything that is going on; You are part of the problem.
