In key swing states, weed is polling better than all potential 2016 candidates

“In three key swing states, marijuana legalization is more popular than any potential 2016 presidential contender. That’s according to a Quinnipiac University poll conducted in March.

More than 80 percent of adults in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida support medical marijuana, according to the survey. Fifty one percent of Pennsylvanians, 52 percent of Ohioans and 55 percent of Floridians also support legalizing small amounts of marijuana for personal use.”

I am all for legalization. You don’t have to wait for some heavy handed federal tyranny to arrive; It is already here and it is the “War on drugs”.

It is being waged by local P.D’s and it is more of an affront to our rights than anything that the Fed could ever dream up. From post midnight SWAT raids to warrant less searches, over zealous cops  are busily pursuing hardcore pot smokers nation wide.

Citizens across the country are being arrested, imprisoned, abused, bankrupted and ruined because of marijuana use or possession. I think that one of the biggest tools that we can use to regain a modicum of freedom is ending the war on drugs.

The “War” needs to end and we need to start it by legalizing pot in every state possible.

Civil forteifure seizures to be halted without proving a crime has occurred

From Washington post:

“Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Friday barred local and state police from using federal law to seize cash, cars and other property without proving that a crime occurred.

Holder’s action represents the most sweeping check on police power to confiscate personal property since the seizures began three decades ago as part of the war on drugs.

Since 2008, thousands of local and state police agencies have made more than 55,000 seizures of cash and property worth $3 billion under a civil asset forfeiture program at the Justice Department called Equitable Sharing.

The program has enabled local and state police to make seizures and then have them “adopted” by federal agencies, which share in the proceeds. The program allowed police departments and drug task forces to keep up to 80 percent of the proceeds of the adopted seizures, with the rest going to federal agencies.”

Holder’s decision follows a Washington Post investigation published in September that found that police have made cash seizures worth almost $2.5 billion from motorists and others without search warrants or indictments since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The Post found that local and state police routinely pulled over drivers for minor traffic infractions, pressed them to agree to warrantless searches and seized large amounts of cash without evidence of wrongdoing. The law allows such seizures and forces the owners to prove their property was legally acquired in order to get it back.

Police spent the seizure proceeds with little oversight, in some cases buying luxury cars, high-powered weapons and military-grade gear such as armored cars, according to an analysis of Justice Department data obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests.”

Fucking POS Holder has done the only thing in his tenure that I agree with. I could spend all day and page after page on a swearing rant just to describe that little militant piece of crap.

Since it was done by him, there is probably a catch that actually makes things worse, but on the surface it appears that this most unconstitutional practice wil be halted

I always wondered where her love went
It was like it was bled from her
A slit vein that ran dry
I was the only one that she gave it to
And I was young and greedy
And I think that I took it all
Used it up
A hungry pup nursing at the teat
And there was none left over for anyone else
She became withered and dry
And by the time her own children came
That love had been replaced by hate
Maybe it had just been killed
And that hate was like the darkness
That is already in a room
Just waiting for the light to be turned off
And then it takes over everything
It didn’t help
That it had been infused with heroin along the way
Shot sweating late at night in a seedy room
Or in the parking lot behind the strip club
But something had turned that love to hate
Solidified it in her veins
Until she was nothing
No voice
No heartbeat
She became a statue
Just hard stone
And the sad part is that she had four babies
Who tried to nurse from her cold stone tit
And tried to get some of the love that I had
But it was long used up and gone
And they had to try and survive and live
With nothing to feed on but that cold hate
And they all survived for the most part
Except for Amber
Poor Amber
In the end, I think the hate finally got her

Ain’t nobody done nothin’ for Chad Taylor

So you say
While my sweat and blood
Feed the hungry ground
My broken bones
Toil behind the plow
So you say
While you lay
And feed your hunger
And cry about
Your pain
So you say
While I feed you
Yet another day
And watch you drive away
In the car
That I own

There is a rule in life; Don’t piss writers off because they WILL write nasty things about you. I wrote this piece about 6 years ago and the only reason that I am posting it is because I am as sick as a dog and feeling mean and spiteful.
I had an update on the miserable human leech mentioned above and the thought of it gives me cruel pleasure that I know I shouldn’t enjoy. But hey, it didn’t come at my hand. You know that I would not revel in it were he not truly a bad person.Suffice it to say that he broke the arm of a 7 month old baby.
Apparently my wife’s son had enough of his shenanigans last winter. He wrapped a tire chain around his fist and beat him to within an inch of his life then loaded him up on a bus out of town.
He is a really big and bad boy to begin with and he certainly did not need the chain; that was just for fun.
I know, karma is probably going to get me, but what can I say?

She is my drug,

My addiction

She courses through my veins

I consume her

All night long

And forget all around me

I awake

And all I can think of,

Is her

I partake of her love,

I am a slave to it

Her passion,

Her scent

Consumes my thoughts

My passion drives her needle deeper

She punctures my vein

I am flooded with pleasure

She is my drug

She courses through my blood

All I want is her

She is my love

And my addiction

I cannot stop

I will imbibe

Until I die
