Longest armed stand off in history ends after 15 Yrs.

“While a bunch of aggrieved men in camo gear continue to sulk in a bird sanctuary in Oregon, the longest-running standoff in American history has quietly come to an end in Texas. John Joe Gray has been holed up on his ranch for 15 years after assaulting a state trooper and then refusing to return to court. Someone finally notified Gray that the charges against him were dismissed more than a year ago.

As WFAA reports, Gray was arrested in 1999 for biting a state trooper during a traffic stop and getting into a “scuffle” with him. He was charged with assaulting a public servant, and, rather than make his court date, he barricaded himself at his ranch in Henderson County, near the town of Trinidad, and threatened to kill any sheriff’s deputies who might come to fetch him. From WFAA:

“If they come out after us, bring extra body bags. Those who live by the sword will die by the sword,” Gray told ABC News in a 2000 interview.

Since the felony charge in 1999, Gray has never left his 47-acres along the banks of the Trinity River between Tool and Trinidad, Texas.

Instead, Gray, his children, grandchildren, and friends patrol their property with pistols and rifles and refuse to let strangers inside.

National Geographic said it took a crew two years to earn the family’s trust recently.

“We’ve never shot no one yet,” Gray told Nat Geo. “But they know, if they come on us, they’ll be surprised what’s going to happen to them.”

The family hung a number of signs on their fences: “Disobedience to tyranny is obedience to God!”

Bundy redux: A different take on the Malheur stand off

“I have been observing events with the Hammond case and the occupation of the wildlife complex in Malheur. I wasn’t going to comment, but due to what I have seen on the internet from persons/organizations that are considered authoritative online commentators, and the general wailing and gnashing of teeth, I am drawn to comment. What I am going to say goes against the grain of what appears to the established GroupThink that has grown up as a response to this situation. I am going to make a number of points that originate from my thoughts on this matter. I don’t necessarily have a strong opinion about the events at Malheur, I don’t know any of the people there, and I have no inside knowledge. I am simply an observer.

– I see a huge amount of negative commentary from the online Patriot community, from a number of influential sources. I see a lot of armchair quarterbacking. Apparently the protesters at Malheur are not the ‘chosen ones.’

– There is a lot of negativity coming from what appear to be militia groups in the area. We have already covered a lot about these groups and their made up rank structures – why are they suddenly the authority? Some of the statements made are laughable, for example citing the need for the Governor to activate them to actually do anything. Does the Governor actually recognize these militias? What is this fantasy? What gives them the authority to say the Malheur protesters have no business protesting?

– This smug groupthink from the Patriot community seems to be led by fear of the left’s reaction. Apparently this is not the time to protest tyrannical actions by Leviathan, because the left might be upset? Really? When is the left ever not going to be upset by the actions of the forces of freedom?”

“The situation with the Hammonds is one of clear tyranny. I would put it like this: the story of the West is not the same story as the Eastern original colonies, with all the quaint forgotten stuff about the Founders and the Boston Tea Party and the Constitution. It has never been about that. It is bad big guy against good little guy. It is every western movie you ever watched. It is the BLM (insert: railroad, rich bad guy rancher etc) against the little guy, pushing them off the land. It is ‘3:10 to Yuma.’ It is clear unlawful tyranny and bullying, riding roughshod over the law and the rights of the little guy. It does not get plainer than the action of the BLM in the west. The BLM is, in fact, the front line of tyranny in the United States right now. The BLM is taking the Hammond’s land, pure and simple.”

“Stop being good little Germans, good little comrades, and use your moral compass to understand what is right, what is true, and what is just. If we all lived our lives on those principles and stood up, without fear of the left, there would be no problem. To the left, to the moonbats, you are always a right wing extremist, and terrorist. Nothing you do in defense of liberty will be right. You will never be anything else.

– The lack of any kind of support for the Malheur protest sends one particular message: they are not good enough for our support, and thus neither will any of us be, when our time comes. Bundy may have consciously chosen to be there at this time, for good or bad, but the rest of us are simply waiting our turn for Leviathan to come to us. None of us want this. We all want to live in peace in the former United States, without the threat of violence and tyranny. As freedom diminishes, as Leviathan rises, it will be our turn at some point. Malheur is a peaceful protest, so far, unless they are attacked. What if you are forced to use arms to defend yourself against tyranny? Can you see the online patriots running for the hills, reinforcing the rhetoric of the left as you are painted as a nut-job with ‘an arsenal.’”

“In the meantime, I am grateful to Bundy and his group standing up and drawing attention to the actions of the tyrannous BLM. I hope no harm comes to them, and they are able to return peacefully to their families.

“Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush wants the United States to declare war on ISIS.

Speaking on “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Bush addressed the recent attacks in Paris and said that he believes America has a responsibility to lead in the fight against what he called “this radical Islamist threat.”

“This is viewed as a law enforcement exercise by the Obama administration. We should declare war,” Bush said. “We have the capabilities to do this. We just have to show the will.”

His desire to call for war could provoke comparisons to his brother, President George W. Bush, who sent troops to Iraq in what became a widely unpopular war against terrorism after the September 11 attacks on the U.S.”

Scumbag cop pulls woman over for not signaling when he comes up behind her: Later found dead in jail

The video showed the officer pulling Ms. Bland over and their encounter escalating into a physical altercation in which he threatened her with a stun gun.

“I will light you up,” the trooper said, pointing the stun gun at her.

“The video also confirmed an account from the family’s lawyer that the confrontation between Ms. Bland and the trooper, Brian T. Encinia, escalated after she refused his order to put out a cigarette, Mr. West said.

Neither the stun gun nor the confrontation over the cigarette was mentioned in Trooper Encinia’s incident report, which was also made public on Tuesday.

The video showed Trooper Encinia standing outside the driver’s door and explaining to Ms. Bland that she was being written up for failing to signal a lane change.

“You seem very irritated,” he said.

“I am, I really am,” she said. She said she had pulled over to get out of his way and was now getting stopped and written up because of it.

“You mind putting out your cigarette?” he asked testily.”

“I’m in my own car. I don’t have to put out my cigarette,” she said.

When he ordered her out of the car, she refused.

“I’m going to yank you out,” Trooper Encinia shouted.

Before long, Ms. Bland was outside the car shouting insults and obscenities, and the trooper had her in handcuffs.

In part of the encounter that occurred out of the camera’s view, a scuffle could be heard, and Ms. Bland indicated that she was on the ground. “You just slammed me, knocked my head into the ground,” she said.

Addressing Trooper Encinia with an expletive, she said, “I got epilepsy.”

Trooper Encinia responded, “Good.”

NBC News reported that Texas Department of Public Safety authorities “said late Tuesday they were looking into alleged edits” to the 52-minute dashcam video:

At several points in the video of Bland’s arrest, posted Tuesday to the department’s YouTube channel, video of a person walking or a car driving by are cut or repeat themselves as the audio continues uninterrupted.

DPS spokesman Tom Vinger told NBC News that he could not speculate on whether the video was edited. “I will have to check in the morning. I can’t speculate without looking at the CD,” he said, referring to the original recording of the video.

NBC added that “the apparent edits to to the video, first reported by documentarian and writer Ben Norton, raised the suspicions of people following Bland’s story, suspicions authorities sought to allay with the video’s release.”

“Throughout, Bland is questioning why she is being arrested and often shouts expletives. Encinia responds in angry tones that she should obey his orders.

It was unclear whether the video was complete. There are several apparent breaks — after Bland is already out of the car — with cars appearing and disappearing into thin air.”

I no longer have one iota of faith in the system

US Police More Concerned About “Anti-Government” Domestic Extremists Than Al-Qaeda, Study Finds

“U.S. law enforcement agencies rank the threat of violence from anti-government  extremists higher than the threat from radicalized Muslims, according to a report released Thursday by the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security (TCTHS).

The report, “Law Enforcement Assessment of the Violent Extremism Threat,” was based on survey research by Charles Kurzman, professor of sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and David Schanzer, director of TCTHS and associate professor of the practice at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy.

The survey — conducted by the center with the Police Executive Research Forum — found that 74 percent of 382 law enforcement agencies rated anti-government extremism as one of the top three terrorist threats in their jurisdiction. By comparison, 39 percent listed extremism connected with Al Qaeda or like-minded terrorist organizations as a Top 3 terrorist threat.

Since September 11, 2001, the frightened and emotionally pliable American public has gullibly relinquished its civil liberties and free heritage in order to allow the U.S. government to wage unaccountable and unconstitutional war again Al-Qaeda and radical Islamic terrorism across the world.

Many of us have warned for years, that preemptively giving up freedoms to protect freedom could only make sense to a propagandized, ignorant public completely clueless of human history. We warned that any totalitarian apparatus implemented to fight an outside enemy, would ultimately be turned around and used upon the public domestically. We already know this is happening with the NSA’s bulk spying and data collection, and we are starting to see a proliferation of the meme that “domestic extremists are more dangerous than Al-Qaeda,” spreading from the mouths of a corrupt and paranoid political class.”

Perhaps if the police didn’t harbor such negative thoughts about the general public, there wouldn’t be as many citizens killed by police. The recent tally is up to 463 killed so far in 2015, or an average of 2.5 Americans killed by police every day.

Finally, I came across the following excerpt from a recently published National Journal article:

Senate Democrats are calling for Congress to shift its focus from solely jihadist-fueled terrorism and hold hearings on the threats from domestic groups in upcoming weeks. And the Department of Justice has already opened up a domestic-terrorism investigation into the Charleston church shooting.

The real enemy of the corrupt corporate state is none other than, “we the people.”

Finally paying attention are they? Have they realized that they have awoken the angry masses? And those masses are becoming a horde?

Lalor was an Irish political writer, hero, patriot, insurrectionist and general all around rabble rouser from the early and mid 1800’s. (My kind of guy of course)

Lalor was unstoppable in his quest for Irish freedom and land rights and never became discouraged. He was of ill health, suffering from tuberculosis and imprisoned after a particular rousing and vitriolic call to arms.

But that did not stop him in his fervor to free his country and better his countryman’s plight.

He became discouraged occasionally but always returned with the fire of freedom burning inside of him.

He refused to recognize any foreign law as legal and fought until his end at the young age of  43

It is surmised that his prison stint fatally worsened his condition

This is what is on his tombstone:

In dear memory of James Fintan Lalor born on the 10th of
March 1809 and died on 27 December 1849.
A faithful Irishman who gave his life in the pursuit of freedom
of our country and to improve the state of Irish people in their
native land.
May his soul be at the right hand of God

And elsewhere, she said, in the Carolinas, election officials have changed the location and open hours of polling places in order to flummox poor and minority voters.

Clinton also complained that state and local officials in southern states have crusaded against early voting plans, same-day voter registration, and pre-registration systems that target 16- and 17-year-olds in high schools.

Changes to voting laws in the South came fast and furious after a 2013 Supreme Court decision that revoked key provisions in the Voting Rights Act.

That law’s ‘special protections,’ as Clinton put it, had forced southern states with histories of discrimination to get permission from the federal government before putting new election laws in place.”

“She was a staunch advocate for the Voting Rights Act, which had helped make it possible for her to be elected,’ Clinton said Thursday, lamenting that the federal law’s ‘heart has been ripped out’ by America’s most senior jurists.

One Year After Standoff With Armed Militia, BLM Employees Still Feel Vulnerable

“On April 12, 2014, protestors and some armed militiamen rallied in support of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy. In what was intended to be the culmination of a longstanding battle between BLM and Bundy, the agency had rounded up all of the rancher’s livestock he had been illegally allowing to graze on federal land without paying the appropriate fees. The gathering of protestors led to a prolonged standoff, and eventually BLM released the cattle so the crowds would dissipate.

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility said BLM has refused to disclose any documents relating to its decision-making process in regard to the incident, or how it plans to respond to similar situations in the future. BLM employees do not know what precautions were taken or how their safety will be ensured moving forward.

Additionally, PEER said, the situation with Bundy is unresolved. This could set a dangerous precedent as ranchers and other detractors feel “emboldened” to challenge the authority of federal agencies and regulations. If Bundy and a rag-tag crew of vigilantes with guns could get a federal agency to back down, what would stop others from doing the same?

The concern appears to have some merit. In July, the Homeland Security Department’s Intelligence and Analysis Office issued a report titled “Domestic Violent Extremists Pose Increased Threat to Government Officials and Law Enforcement.” The investigators said the “perceived victory by militia extremists” in the Bundy case would “likely inspire additional anti-government violence over the next year.”

In the months since the Bundy standoff, many Nevada ranchers have ignored BLM warnings to curb grazing activities while record droughts afflict the state and region. Now BLM employees are unsure where they stand, should new fights evolve.”

III to III help a brother out

So, this is how the whole III to III thing is supposed to work. Somewhere in the future your life might depend on someone that is patched 3% or theirs on you.

In one moment you might have to judge whether or not that person has your back and that decision may be based entirely on the fact they are 3%.

It is about being more than a scattered group of people and developing a sense community. If their are goods to be bought or sold anyone in the 3% community has the priority. If someone needs help, whether physical or financial, if it is within means you help them out. You may in fact be asking them for the same in the future.

So anyway, something happened recently that really embodies the whole spirit of the III to III. Now I am not going to name names because I know that is not why he did it and if it were me I would be embarrassed by being named .

Recently a fellow threeper put out a request for financial help. I sent him a little something and it was not very much. As a matter of fact it was such a paltry amount that I attached somewhat of an apology explaining that I was really tapped out at the moment and would help out more if I could.

The next day he sends me $100.00

He got more than he expected and needed and sent that my way because I was tapped.

Now that ladies and gentlemen is how it’s done.That is class. That is the spirit of the III to III. That is the spirit and character of those in the three percent movement. That is what the spirit and character of America used to be.

That is what we are willing to fight for.

Rancher Cliven Bundy’s son gets prison for 2013 felony convictions

An adult son of southern Nevada rancher and states’ rights advocate Cliven Bundy has been sentenced to state prison for violating probation on two felony convictions dating to 2013.

Cliven Lance Bundy blamed missed court dates and a failure after almost two years to complete a one-year court-run drug diversion program on an addiction to pain medications and heroin.

Clark County District Court Judge Carolyn Ellsworth told the 35-year-old Bundy that he’s out of second chances.

Bundy goes by the name Lance. He was sentenced to two to eight years in prison for his guilty pleas to felony burglary and weapon theft charges.

Bundy’s father, Cliven Bundy, became a symbol for resisting authority after armed supporters faced off with armed federal agents last April to end a BLM cattle roundup.

That kind of mood…….

Our chains are forged, their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable – and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come!

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, peace, peace – but there is no peace. The war is actually begun. The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!”

Yeah, I am in that kind of mood. Our republic is in flames, our freedoms gone and all anybody can do is bitch.

A comment I left on a news article to an irate commenter.

“It is all in the ACT. Who is willing? I know in Olympia Wash. this coming Saturday some folks are willing to act. I know that in Bunkerville there were people that were willing to act. I know that I am willing to act. I know that when my time comes that I am willing to “Act like it”. But my question is with all the angry fed up people out there, are they willing to “Act like it” or just b@tch about it?”

An Open Letter to the Washington State Patrol

To the Washington State Patrol Detachment at the Washington State Capitol:

We as patriots have worked with you several times now.  We came on the 13th of December, and we coordinated with you.  We came on the 15th of January, and in both cases you showed us respect and recognized that we are citizens with unalienable rights.  In return we offered you our respect as well, and while the 15th had its issues, we appreciated the way you chose to handle it, and publicly saluted you for your class and your upholding of the Constitution of our state and our nation.

Now there are “rules” barring us from exercising our right in the galleries of our own legislature.  We have talked to you, and we know you understand that we have the right to be there.  People that We elected to represent us and uphold our rights have decided that We, the People of the state of Washington, are no longer allowed to exercise our rights in a building that We own, while viewing the proceedings of the people We elected.  We are told that we will be arrested if we carry an open firearm into the galleries to view the proceedings of a government that only has power by the people’s consent.  This is not right.  It is not in line with the Constitution of the State of Washington, and it is not in line with the Constitution of the United States of America.  In your hearts, you know this to be wrong.

We know that many of you are prior military.  You took an oath to defend the Constitution against all threats, both foreign and domestic.  We know that you are now in a position that no American should ever have to be in—having to choose between enforcing the “rules” of an out of control government that you work for, or upholding the rights of the citizens you serve.  We do not envy your position, but we ask that you do the right and Constitutional thing.

On February 7th, we are coming to the Capitol.  We have no other choice but to do so, because We the People cannot allow this blatant assault on our rights.  We do not want a confrontation.  We have no ill will toward you, and we have no fight with you.  We come in peace, with resolve.  There is not a one of us who wants trouble of any kind.  But we will stand.  We will not allow our elected representatives—who only derive their power from the consent of the governed—to dictate to the people they serve how and when they will exercise their rights.

You were born with the same birthright as we were; liberty was purchased for you with the same blood.  Some of you may have even bled for that liberty, or lost friends and family in its defense.  Are you now willing to arrest your own countrymen to enforce a rule that even you know is wrong?  Are you willing to stand against your brothers and sisters, cousins, friends?  Have we fallen that far?

We are coming on the 7th, and we ask you to stand with us.  We ask you to remember your heritage, the legacy of freedom that so many have died to give you.  We ask that you look at our faces and see that we mean no harm, no malice.  We implore you, in that last moment, when you have the choice to arrest us or stand with us, that you reach into your heart of hearts and remember that we are all Americans, with a debt of blood-bought liberty that we can never fully repay.  As a veteran, I ask you to remember your oath to the Constitution, and your loyalty to freedom.  As a mother, I ask you to stand with us now so that my son and yours do not have to bleed for their liberty because we gave it away.

You do not have to do this.  You can still do the right thing, and uphold the Constitution and the principles of our liberty.  We understand your difficult position…but we ask you to understand ours as well.  We MUST stand; we have no other choice.  We want no fight, but we will not comply.  We will stand.

Gun deaths for cops up up 56% in 2014, with 1/3 of those by ambush

Gun related deaths of U.S. law enforcement officers rose by 56 percent in 2014 compared to the previous year, with about one-third of officers killed in an ambush, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund said on Tuesday.

Across the country, 50 officers were killed by guns in 2014 compared to 32 in 2013, according to the website of the non-profit fund, which aims to increase safety for law enforcement officers.

The most deadly states were California, Texas, New York, Florida and Georgia, the group said.”

I think we are about to see the Dorner principle come into effect here. Nationwide the death by firearm count was 50, death by traffic 49 and death by other causes 27.

I don’t think that we are going to see P.D. s paralyzed in fear and afraid to get in their cars because of traffic accidents, even though the death rate is only one below gun related deaths. But if you were to make those  same 49 traffic deaths be the result of car bombs. then there would be utter panic and fear.

It is the effect of being a target and having the shield of invincibility removed that creates the Dorner principle. It is the fact that they are being held accountable for something (Even if it was across the country) and their position gives them vulnerability and culpability, rather than the normal sense of strength and power.

I think that this is just the beginning of ambush shootings and sniping. In addition to the leftists and the tools there are a lot of fed up people out there. From criminals, to outraged  families of those killed unjustly and just fed up Jared Miller types, 2015 may prove to be a shooting gallery.

The big question is, how will they respond? A big paramilitary type presence or community outreach? They have to be careful and not overplay their hand or they will just escalate things farther.

Keep a careful eye to the whole situation as it will probably be the harbinger of things to come on the federal level in the future.

I was aware that OK was working within Ferguson and wondered what had happened. Did anyone pay attention to the fact that one of the stores that they were charged with protecting was the now famous Natalie’s cakes?

My very first question is how do the police have time to harass the people protecting businesses when the rest of the city is burning down?

  • Simple: They don’t react like peace officers to the presence of armed honest citizens, who have always been their natural allies. They react like union members seeing a bunch of scabs. WE have the monopoly on violence here, buddy. And don’t you forget it.

Are you willing to get your hands dirty?

“A week ago we FINALLY told them ENOUGH! Now. Will our words be shallow? Will we still expect our so called representatives to take care of it for us as we have in the past? Or are we going to get our hands dirty?”

The above is a comment from a reader. She makes a good point; what are we going to do if the Republicans sell us down the river ? Is it time to lay down and give up, or is it time to take a stand.

This is a fight after all and one with high stakes. Our very way of life is in the balance and it is going to be up to us to throw it one way or the other. If this is politics as usual then we had better be prepared to stand up to defend what we believe in ourselves.

The time for couched rhetoric and posturing will have passed. They are hell bent on destroying our culture, our freedoms and in the end our very republic. The time may well be coming soon, when it is time to take the gloves off and get our hands dirty.
