“Attorney General Loretta Lynch testified Wednesday that the Justice Department has “discussed” taking civil legal action against the fossil fuel industry for “denying” the “threat of carbon emissions” when it comes to climate change

During Lynch’s testimony at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said that he believes there are similarities between the tobacco industry denying scientific studies showing the dangers of using tobacco and companies within the fossil fuel industry denying studies allegedly showing the threat of carbon emissions.

He went on to point out that under President Bill Clinton, the Justice Department brought and won a civil case against the tobacco industry, while the Obama administration has “done nothing” so far with regard to the fossil fuel industry”

Oregon Fire Chief Catches FBI Agents Posing as Militia – Quits His Job in Protest

“This week, Harney County Fire Marshall Chris Briels resigned after discovering undercover FBI agents posing as militia members near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, which has been the site of a standoff for weeks now. According to Briels, he found FBI agents who were impersonating militia members lurking around the town’s armory. When he inquired about the undercover operation with county Judge Steve Grasty he was told to back off.

Just before this discovery was made, there were reports of people who looked like militia harassing locals, which is uncharacteristic of the protesters who initially assembled at the refuge. It turns out that these militia members suspected of harassing locals were actually undercover FBI agents.

During an impromtu press conference, Briels explained how he was so disrespected in his encounter with Grasty and was so disgusted with the situation in general, that he no longer wants to work for a government that he does not believe in. Briels added that he would still be helping people in the community with fire prevention and other issues that he has helped with in the past, but he will just no longer be doing it as a government employee. Briels went on to describe how he exposed undercover FBI agents who had come to town and were creating problems amongst the locals.

When announcing his resignation, Briels described his encounter with the judge.

“I’ve been told by Steve to distance myself from this committee of public safety. I’ve been told that we don’t know what we’re doing. I’ve been told that my life is in danger. I’ve been told all kinds of things. I will not be told what to do. I have my own mind, and I will use my own mind, not somebody else’s,” Briels said.

Many activists and militia members are now suspecting that the undercover agents were planning to act as agent provocateurs and create trouble in order to frame the protesters for things that they did not do. This theory is supported by the fact these undercover agents were reportedly bothering locals and acting in a threatening manner.

However, mainstream media has reported that militia members were harassing locals, but now that version of events is being brought into question considering the fact that undercover agents were posing as militia. The looming threat of agent provocateurs may be one of the reasons why the refuge occupiers are turning away help from outside militias who have attempted to join the occupation.

As the situation at the refuge becomes increasingly volatile, leaders of the occupation have announced that they will soon be making plans to disperse, but they have not yet said when this will happen. Meanwhile, the FBI has said that they will be filing federal charges against the militia members that they have found evidence on throughout the occupation.”

Man responsible for uncovering fast and furious scandal terminally ill

Mike Vanderboegh along with David Codrea were instrumental in uncovering the fast and furious scandal

Mike’s site “Sipsey street irregulars” was the original 3% website and he dedicated many long years to fighting the fight with very limited resources

Many long months were spent on fast and furious until it finally was put into the light of day

Now a plea has gone out from his friends to help his soon to be widow with her finances

“I have been observing events with the Hammond case and the occupation of the wildlife complex in Malheur. I wasn’t going to comment, but due to what I have seen on the internet from persons/organizations that are considered authoritative online commentators, and the general wailing and gnashing of teeth, I am drawn to comment. What I am going to say goes against the grain of what appears to the established GroupThink that has grown up as a response to this situation. I am going to make a number of points that originate from my thoughts on this matter. I don’t necessarily have a strong opinion about the events at Malheur, I don’t know any of the people there, and I have no inside knowledge. I am simply an observer.

– I see a huge amount of negative commentary from the online Patriot community, from a number of influential sources. I see a lot of armchair quarterbacking. Apparently the protesters at Malheur are not the ‘chosen ones.’

– There is a lot of negativity coming from what appear to be militia groups in the area. We have already covered a lot about these groups and their made up rank structures – why are they suddenly the authority? Some of the statements made are laughable, for example citing the need for the Governor to activate them to actually do anything. Does the Governor actually recognize these militias? What is this fantasy? What gives them the authority to say the Malheur protesters have no business protesting?

– This smug groupthink from the Patriot community seems to be led by fear of the left’s reaction. Apparently this is not the time to protest tyrannical actions by Leviathan, because the left might be upset? Really? When is the left ever not going to be upset by the actions of the forces of freedom?”

“The situation with the Hammonds is one of clear tyranny. I would put it like this: the story of the West is not the same story as the Eastern original colonies, with all the quaint forgotten stuff about the Founders and the Boston Tea Party and the Constitution. It has never been about that. It is bad big guy against good little guy. It is every western movie you ever watched. It is the BLM (insert: railroad, rich bad guy rancher etc) against the little guy, pushing them off the land. It is ‘3:10 to Yuma.’ It is clear unlawful tyranny and bullying, riding roughshod over the law and the rights of the little guy. It does not get plainer than the action of the BLM in the west. The BLM is, in fact, the front line of tyranny in the United States right now. The BLM is taking the Hammond’s land, pure and simple.”

“Stop being good little Germans, good little comrades, and use your moral compass to understand what is right, what is true, and what is just. If we all lived our lives on those principles and stood up, without fear of the left, there would be no problem. To the left, to the moonbats, you are always a right wing extremist, and terrorist. – The lack of any kind of support for the Malheur protest sends one particular message: they are not good enough for our support, and thus neither will any of us be, when our time comes. Bundy may have consciously chosen to be there at this time, for good or bad, but the rest of us are simply waiting our turn for Leviathan to come to us. None of us want this. We all want to live in peace in the former United States, without the threat of violence and tyranny. As freedom diminishes, as Leviathan rises, it will be our turn at some point. Malheur is a peaceful protest, so far, unless they are attacked. What if you are forced to use arms to defend yourself against tyranny? Can you see the online patriots running for the hills, reinforcing the rhetoric of the left as you are painted as a nut-job with ‘an arsenal.’”

“In the meantime, I am grateful to Bundy and his group standing up and drawing attention to the actions of the tyrannous BLM. I hope no harm comes to them, and they are able to return peacefully to their families.

Bill Kristol: ‘We’ll Have to Start’ New Party If Trump Wins Nomination

“I have said that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is the most effective Democratic leader in modern times” wrote Cruz in Politico. He added:

But don’t take my word for it. Take Sen. Chuck Schumer’s, the vice chair of the Senate Democratic conference. Today Sen. Schumer summed up what’s wrong with Washington when he told Politico, “Sen. McConnell wants to see the Senate work. But the good news for [Democrats] is, to make it work, he has to do basically our agenda.”

Cruz also went after the record of Republican leadership in the Senate.

Last week, Schumer gloated over the Democrats’ win in the 2016 budget talks, and declared that:

“Well, if you would’ve told me this year that we’d be standing here celebrating the passage of an omnibus bill, with no poison pill riders, at higher [spending] levels above sequesters than even the president requested, I wouldn’t have believed it, but here we are… Almost anything, the Republican leadership in the Senate achieved this year, they achieved on Democratic terms… Democrats had an amazingly good year.”

Black Friday breaks record with 185K gun background checks

“More Americans had their backgrounds checked purchasing guns on Black Friday than any day in the on record, according to data released by the FBI this week.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System processed 185,345 requests on Nov. 27, one of the largest retail sales days in the country.

“This was an approximate 5% increase over the 175,754 received on Black Friday 2014,” wrote Stephen Fischer, the FBI’s chief of multimedia productions. “The previous high for receipts were the 177,170 received on 12/21/2012.”

“More than a third (35 percent) of Republicans believe the federal government is the enemy, while 34 percent of Independents believe the same. The poll found that half of all Democrats (50 percent) view the government as a friend and only 12 percent see it as the enemy.”

“The majority of Americans feel the federal government has room for serious improvement, with 59 percent saying the government needs “very major reform.” Only 37 percent of voters felt that way in 1997.”

New sparring partner

My new pooch is definitely good medicine

For having spent 9 months out of his 1 yr. life in doggy jail he is incredibly well behaved

He is house broken, heel trained and smarter than all get out

He is also very sweet natured and quite likable

As a plus, he likes to box

I have a 120 Lb. heavy bag hanging in the garage that I use nightly

So Jackson sees me hitting this bag and he is instantly in the game

I took a 7 Ft. length of 1″ rope and tied it into the chains on the bag

Now while I am hitting it he gets a hold of the rope and yanks the bag all over the place

The bag is labelled with two 8″ x 10 yellow ” Everlast” labels that are right at eye level and I frequently use them as targets, picking them off as the bag spins

Last night he notices that I am hitting them and starts jumping up and trying to bite the labels, growling and sounding all vicious

Yep, we are going to get along just fine

James O’Keefe strikes again : Administrators at Yale, Cornell etc. tear up constitution

“Conservatives have long accused academics of shredding the Constitution, figuratively speaking, but a Project Veritas sting operation recently caught them doing it literally.

Undercover video released last week showed administrators at Yale, Cornell, Syracuse, Vassar and Oberlin agreeing to rip up copies of the Constitution handed out off campus after an investigator posing as a student described the document as “triggering” and “oppressive.”

“Well, I think that the Constitution means things to different people; like you said it is a flawed document and the people who wrote it are certainly flawed individuals in my mind,” Cornell lead Title IX investigator Elizabeth McGrath says on the video.

Ms. McGrath agrees to rip up the hand-held copy of the Constitution and run it through a shredder after the female “student” asks, “Is there any way that maybe like we can get rid of it somehow or I can just see that like maybe it will be like therapy for me, like if you can like shred it or something?”

Project Veritas president James O’Keefe, known for his undercover video operations against ACORN and the National Public Radio, said the videos showed that the willingness to cut up the Constitution was “not an isolated incident.”
