Cop takes “One in a billion shot” jams robber’s gun with his bullet

“AURORA | Arapahoe County prosecutors on Wednesday, July 13, cleared a Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy in an off-duty shooting stemming from an attempted robbery in January.

Deputy Jose Marquez was shot in the shoulder and abdomen during the Jan. 26 attempted robbery in an apartment parking lot on East Adriatic Drive near Rangeview High School.

One of the suspects fled the scene and has not been identified. The other, Jhalil Meshesha, was wounded in the leg and later arrested, prosecutors said.

In a letter to Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader and Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz, Arapahoe County Deputy District Attorney Rich Orman said Marquez, who was off duty and not in uniform at the time of the robbery, acted appropriately.

“Deputy Marquez reasonably believed that his life was in danger and acted reasonably in shooting Meshesha, and that he used an appropriate level of physical force. I further find that Deputy Marquez’s actions were justified and he did not violate Colorado law,” the letter said.

Marquez told police he was visiting his girlfriend at her apartment when he went outside to grab something from his car. As he walked back, he saw two young men with masks on their face. One of the men told him to “give it up,” Marquez said, and pulled out a pistol.

Marquez said the two men fired first and he returned fire.

One of Marquez’s bullets struck Meshesha’s pistol, traveling straight down that gun’s barrel and disabling it. Police called the shot “one in a billion.”

Slow cooked pork picnic

How about some heavenly slow cooked pork?

Fantastic as a roast, great for sandwiches and makes the best Cuban sandwich in the world

I roasted one on the 4th after I did all of my smoking

I was literally all day and evening on the ribs and chicken and decided to do the picnic in the oven

Here it is below:

One fresh pork picnic (Uncured) 10 to 11 Lbs., skin on

Salt

Garlic powder

Worcestershire sauce

Baking pan larger than the picnic

Grate to put in baking pan that will elevate the meat about 2″

To prepare the meat take a slender paring or boning knife and insert it into the meat most of the way

Twist the knife until there is an opening and pour the Worcester sauce into the cavity

Do this in about 12 places on the part with no skin

When done sprinkle heavily with garlic powder and salt

Place the rack in the baking pan and put the picnic on it skin side up to protect the meat

Place the pan in the center of a pre-heated 200 degree oven along with a pan of water placed in the bottom of the oven

Go to bed

Cook picnic for 16 hours before checking temperature

At 16 to 16 1/2 hours your Temp. should be reading around 170 Deg.

Because of the large bone in the center I give it an additional 1.5 hr. at 325

After 1,5 Hr  your final temp. shoul be be 185 to 190 Deg.

Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 Min. or so

The skin will be tough and crusty but separates easily from the meat for carving

If you want to make a Cuban, go to the deli and get black forest ham sliced 1/4″ thick, Cuban bread, provolone cheese and dill pickle slices

Pork goes on first at about 3/4″ thick

Then the ham and cheese on top

Pickle slices gets put on about 1″” apart

Sandwich is topped with two lines of yellow mustard running the length

Heat two frying pans to press the sandwich

Place the sandwich in a pre-heated frying pan and cover with a sheet of foil

Take the second frying pan and using hot pads press the sandwich with the bottom of the pan

Once it is pressed leave the pan on top to finish cooking

It is done when the bread is grilled but not crunchy and the cheese is melted

Crooked cop uses “Hillary” defense

“A lawyer for one of the NYPD cops accused of doing favors for bribes — including mile-high sex with this hooker on a free trip to Las Vegas — said his client’s behavior was no worse than Hillary Clinton’s.

NYPD Deputy Chief Michael Harrington and Brooklyn businessman Jeremy Reichberg also pleaded not guilty to several charges on Wednesday, including conspiracy to commit honest-services fraud, honest-services wire fraud, conspiracy to pay and receive bribes and the payment and receipt of bribes.

A grand-jury indictment was announced last week. Harrington and Grant now face maximum sentences of 40 years behind bars, up from the 20 they faced when initially charged just a few weeks ago.

Reichberg, who faces a potential 55 years in prison, has been accused of shelling out large sums of cash with his business associate, Jona Rechnitz, to police officials.

I was listening to the news this morning and they had the St. Paul police chief on

He was discussing the protests and the 21 injured cops

He expressed his disgust and dismay that they would do this to these “Public servants”

Well here is a tip: If you acted like public servants instead of domestic warriors maybe people wouldn’t be throwing shit at you

And this is just the tip of the iceberg

There is a virtual tidal wave of anti police sentiment getting ready to sweep over them

We now live in the digital age and not a day goes by that a video of a cop beating, killing or abusing someone isn’t posted online

Dallas police shooting: Prelude to chaos

Nifty title ,huh?

I know ,I thought so. But seriously there are some heavy implications here

I am not going to comment on motive or anything else until we find out where Omar was last night about 10:00P.M.

The attack sound a little much for the Bowel movement matters crowd

But to be on point; Because of one shooting the Dallas P.D. was overwhelmed

This is how things like this get started

Every revolution needs a vehicle and that vehicle is chaos

It doesn’t matter who’s side anyone is on once the ball gets rolling

Imagine, if in the middle of the Dallas standoff, they had other participants who started knocking out power stations

And lighting fires

A small dedicated group of people could paralyze the city and plunge it into darkness and chaos

That is what happened in the Russian revolution

Chaos broke out in so many places at once that no organized resistance was possible

While the police were out responding to rioting their Police stations and homes were being burned down

There is a fine line between chaos and civilization and it is not the thin blue line

The thin blue line crumples at the very first blip of societal breakdown

Think New Orleans and you have the answer

It is the citizens themselves

Whether our side or their side, with relative ease that line can be completely broken

And right now the string is being tugged at

This is not the end of unrest and violence; this is only the beginning

Our country has become more politically polarized than at any time since the civil war

Our countrymen are no longer political adversaries; They are our enemies

And that goes for all sides involved

Me thinks that no matter who is responsible here, whether Isis, the far left or the far right

That this is a precedent and is only the beginning of more to come

Just remember history on this if it starts to happen

Think about how to react and how to survive

Take some lessons from history and survivors

The two party system that we have has become antiquated and corrupt

The system has been rigged so only those from the the Democrat or Republican party may be elected

It has been set up in such a manner that only the elites in the party have a voice in who will be a candidate

We the people, the ones who actually make the country run, have no voice at all; we are forced to accept voting for the candidate of their choice

Take Hillary Clinton for example the most onerous candidate ever foisted upon us

Do you think the Republicans are going to do anything about FBI director Comey throwing the investigation?

Even when Hillary perjured herself by signing an affidavit saying that all e-mails had been turned over?

Hell no. They will bloviate some loud noises initially and then go about their business

Why? Because Hillary is one of them; One of the two party system

They would rather have her elected than someone like Trump who is an outsider and doesn’t want to play ball

They hate Trump

Trump is the voice of the people who are fed up with the RINOS who have sold our country down the river

Trump is a conglomerate of working class Never do wells who think that their interests are more important than the ruling elites

Foolish unwashed peasants who are barely qualified to kneel before them and wash their feet

Of course they want Hillary, this system has been in place now for well over a hundred years and it has created a series of rulers and co-rulers

When one party is not ruling, they are content to co-rule

They know that their turn is coming next

That is why they never make it too hard on each other

But now here comes the catch;

People are really and truly fed up with their crap

The less politically correct he is, the more people like him

But does anyone actually think that they will allow him to win?

I don’t and I think that now is the time to start planning a contingency

But what to do? Gather the masses in the capitol and weep and gnash our teeth?

No, let us consider a more practical solution that doesn’t require driving a thousand miles

A general strike, or rather a series of general strikes

Shut everything down

No work, no pay, no taxes

It starts the day after the election when people are still really pissed

Stay home, have a big Eff off party and stew about the possibilities

Make life hard for those who want to keep the wheels turning

It has to be a big , big show to make it work

Labor strikes have been used successfully time after time after time to initiate change

After the first initial shut down

A slightly longer and better planned one needs to be orchestrated using the lessons learned from the first

From that point we need a series of escalations until the production of the country is shut down

Drive slows , go slows, highway stoppages or whatever else develops

It needs to be made apparent that the system’s choice, an enemy of liberty, will not be tolerated

If it comes down to it, we have a shot to stop it, but only if we try it

I am sick of hearing people whine and complain that they can’t do anything

It isn’t that you can’t do it, it’s that you won’t do it

So the day after the election, do something

“INVERNESS, FL (WFLA) – More than 300 people marched through the streets of Inverness in Citrus County to show their support for the Second Amendment on the morning of Fourth of July.

Many carried American flags on this Independence Day, and all marchers carried loaded guns.

“I believe in the American right to be able to bear arms and not have anybody try to take them away,” said participant Terry Stimpfling.

Terry Hallinan owns Florida Gun Supply. This is the second year he has organized the event.

After the mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, the gun debate is more heated than ever.

“We’re demonstrating to the rest of America — to anyone listening — that the law-abiding citizens no longer are going to sit idly by and watch the country go to hell,” Hallinan said.

He tells 8 On Your Side that he was dismayed by the recent actions of democratic lawmakers who staged a sit-in on the House floor as a way to pressure republicans to hold votes on gun-control measures.”

Inverness borders the town that I live in

300 doesn’t sound like much, but this is a very small county that I live in

The Sheriff’s Dept. was on the radio leading up to the event and they were not happy

They said that they would not intervene but they made it quite obvious that they were in total disagreement with it

As far as I know only one person got harassed by cops

A car stopped on the roadside that was loaded down with bottled water to pass out and an asshole trooper gave him a $160.00 ticket

Other than that Florida’s finest heroes decided to stay hands off

The march doesn’t sound like much but it is making waves here in small town America

Yes, the peasants are starting to turn out with pitch forks

Homeland Security Adviser Demands National Gun Registry

” Following the terror attack in Orlando, the dominant media/political narrative turned to gun control and now-discredited claims of the suspect’s mental illness (claims which included gay-baiting).

Now, one controversial former FBI agent — and current consultant to the Obama administration on “countering violent extremism” (CVE) — is suggesting a national gun registry be created. Such a registry would target millions of law-abiding American citizens.

Gamal Abdel-Hafiz, born in Cairo, immigrated to the U.S. in 1990. He recently retired from the FBI after 22 turbulent years at the bureau. Following the Orlando attack, Abdel-Hafiz explained his rationale for creating a national gun registry:

A former FBI counter-terrorism agent says lawmakers could make mass murders less likely. “What we need to do is keep the ownership of guns known to the government, so we know who has what,” said security consultant Gamal Abdel-Hafiz. “And I know a lot of people are against that.”

He also defended the FBI’s handling of the Mateen case, despite the FBI having conducted multiple interviews with the killer based on statements and threats of violence he had made, and then shutting down the investigation:

“He shouldn’t have been able to buy a gun legally. He shouldn’t,” said Abdel-Hafiz about 29-year-old Omar Mateen. He says 3 FBI interviews should have been enough to keep Mateen on the radar, but he also knows why he wasn’t. “Once you investigate someone and clear them, you have to remove them from the watch list by law,” he explained Monday from his office in Dallas.And even if Mateen had been on a terror watch list, or no-fly list, that would not have prohibited him from legally buying weapons, including a high-velocity semi-automatic assault rifle.

“That means the list is useless then,” the former agent said. Efforts to ban weapon sales to those on watch lists have been blocked in Congress. Some lawmakers say the lists could violate a person’s Second Amendment rights. “As long as our politicians keep fighting each other for the sake of fighting each other, more innocent people will keep on dying,” he said.

Remarkably, he admits that the various terror watch lists and no-fly lists are useless. Moments after suggesting another list. He doesn’t explain how a national gun registry — yet another government list targeting millions of law-abiding Americans — would prevent another terror attack.”

The jaguar was killed Monday at a zoo attached to a military training center, when a soldier fired a single pistol shot after the animal, despite being tranquilized, approached the soldier, the army said.

“We made a mistake in permitting the Olympic torch, a symbol of peace and unity, to be exhibited alongside a chained wild animal. This image goes against our beliefs and our values,” the local organizing committee Rio 2016 said in a statement, adding “We guarantee that there will be no more such incidents at Rio 2016.”
