Excerpts From Gov. Mike Pence’s speech on the presidency

Let me say this; I would ride to war with this guy right here and right now. I believe that Pence is one of the few statesman left in the nation.I met him personally one time in D.C. and he was really fired up about what was going on. If he decides to run, he has my vote, if he decides to be George Washington, he’s got my gun.

“The presidency is the most visible thread that runs through the tapestry of the American government. More often than not, for good or for ill, it sets the tone for the other branches and spurs the expectations of the people. Its powers are vast and consequential, its requirements — from the outset and by definition — impossible for mortals to fulfill without humility and insistent attention to its purpose as set forth in the Constitution of the United States.

Isn’t it amazing, given the great and momentous nature of the office, that those who seek it seldom pause to consider what they are seeking? Rather, unconstrained by principle or reflection, there is a mad rush toward something that, once its powers are seized, the new president can wield as an instrument with which to transform the nation and the people according to his highest aspirations

But, other than in a crisis of the house divided, the presidency is neither fit nor intended to be such an instrument. When it is made that, the country sustains a wound, and cries out justly and indignantly. And what the nation says — the theme of this address… What it says, informed by its long history, impelled by the laws of nature and nature’s God… What it says quite naturally and rightly, if not always gracefully, is that we as a people are not to be ruled and not to be commanded. It says that the president should never forget this; that he has not risen above us, but is merely one of us, chosen by ballot, dismissed after his term, tasked not to transform and work his will upon us, but to bear the weight of decision and to carry out faithfully the design laid down in the Constitution and impassioned by the Declaration of Independence.

***

The presidency must adhere to its definition as expressed in the Constitution, and to conduct defined over time and by tradition. While the powers of the office have enlarged, along with those of the legislature and the judiciary, the framework of the government was intended to restrict abuses common to classical empires and to the regal states of the 18th century.

Without proper adherence to the role contemplated in the Constitution for the presidency, the checks and balances in the constitutional plan become weakened. This has been most obvious in recent years when the three branches of government have been subject to the tutelage of a single party. Under either party, presidents have often forgotten that they are intended to restrain the Congress at times, and that the Congress is independent of their desires. And thus fused in unholy unity, the political class has raged forward in a drunken expansion of powers and prerogatives, mistakenly assuming that to exercise power is by default to do good.

Even the simplest among us knows that this is not so. Power is an instrument of fatal consequence. It is confined no more readily than quicksilver, and escapes good intentions as easily as air flows through mesh. Therefore, those who are entrusted with it must educate themselves in self-restraint. A republic — if you can keep it — is about limitation, and for good reason, because we are mortal and our actions are imperfect.

The tragedy of presidential decision is that even with the best choice, some, perhaps many, will be left behind, and some, perhaps many, may die. Because of this, a true statesman lives continuously with what Churchill called “stress of soul.” He may give to Paul, but only because he robs Peter. And that is why you must always be wary of a president who seems to float upon his own greatness. For all greatness is tempered by mortality, every soul is equal, and distinctions among men cannot be owned; they are on loan from God, who takes them back and evens accounts at the end.”

It is a tragedy indeed that new generations taking office attribute failures in governance to insufficient power, and seek more of it. In the judiciary this has seldom been better expressed than by Justice Thurgood Marshall’s dictum that, “You do what you think is right and let the law catch up.” In the Congress, it presents itself in massive legislation, acts and codes thousands of pages long and so monstrously over-complicated that no human being can read through them in a lifetime — much less understand them, much less apply them justly to a people that increasingly feel like they are no longer being asked, they are being told. Our nation finds itself in the position of a dog whose duty it is not to ask why, because the “why” is too elevated for his nature, but simply to obey.

America is not a dog, and does not require a “because-I-said-so” jurisprudence to which it is then commanded to catch up, or legislators who knit laws of such insulting complexity that they are heavier than chains; or a president who acts like, speaks like, and is received as a king. The presidency has run off the rails. It begs a new clarity, a new discipline, and a new president.

The president is not our teacher, our tutor, our guide or ruler. He does not command us, we command him. We serve neither him nor his vision. It is not his job or his prerogative to redefine custom, law and beliefs; to appropriate industries; to seize the country, as it were, by the shoulders or by the throat so as to impose by force of theatrical charisma his justice upon 300 million others. It is neither his job nor his prerogative to shift the power of decision away from them, and to him and the acolytes of his choosing.”

Damn! So close!

The man who jumped the White House fence this month and sprinted through the front door made it much farther into the building than previously known, overpowering one Secret Service officer and running through much of the main floor, according to three people familiar with the incident.

An alarm box near the front entrance of the White House designed to alert guards to an intruder had been muted at what officers believed was a request of the usher’s office, said a Secret Service official who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The officer posted inside the front door appeared to be delayed in learning that the intruder, Omar Gonzalez, was about to burst through. Officers are trained that, upon learning of an intruder on the grounds, often through the alarm boxes posted around the property, they must immediately lock the front door.

After barreling past the guard immediately inside the door, Gonzalez, who was carrying a knife, dashed past the stairway leading a half-flight up to the first family’s living quarters. He then ran into the 80-foot-long East Room, an ornate space often used for receptions or presidential addresses.

“Reached by The Daily Beast after Obama’s interview aired, one former senior Pentagon official who worked closely on the threat posed by Sunni jihadists in Syria and Iraq was flabbergasted. “Either the president doesn’t read the intelligence he’s getting or he’s bullshitting,” the former official said.”

Letter from Liberia

Unfortunately my brother has lost contact with his friend in Liberia. At this point he does not know if he is alive or not. Things were delayed getting the letter below, so it is a couple of weeks old. If I get anything new I will post it.

Dear friends,

Greetings!

As many of you have heard a Virus, Ebola, has hit Liberia and is severe. It has no cure. The President of the Republic has declared a National Emergency. We are all glued at our homes waiting for whom to be infected. Many have died and are lying in the streets. There are entire villages where it is said no is left alive.

Hospitals and Clinics are all closing because Health Workers are dying in the numbers due to no protection against the virus. All we are doing now is calling on our God to look back on us, forgive us, and have mercy on us.

We have been told that a preventive measure is to use disenfectants especially in the homes, beds, and all that an infected person has been in contact with.

The recommended disenfectans of which we desire to distribute to those we can reach.
1. Chlorine
2. Delto
3. Chloride

These materials are dissolved in a special bucket that is sold and we are told to be vigilant in washing our hands, and areas where infected people have died or been cared for.
The government has asked all to stay in their homes for the next 90 days but they have made no provision for food and medicines and so people are also dying in their homes due to the lack of food and medicine. In some areas they have enforced a quarantine (although they are quick to remove government officials from the area first).

In view of the above, we are kindly asking our friends, while they are with us in prayers for God’s mercy, to also kindly help us with money to purchase these preventive materials for our Church Membership all over Liberia and our neighbors so that they can also prevent themselves. As this is an SOS call, we do not have a specific budget, but depend on what God would provide through you for us in Liberia.

Our own clinic, The Pastor Fred Davis Memorial Clinic is closed due to the emergency. The Health Workers at that clinic do not have the preventive gear and are simply afraid they will die without them. We also need some Thermometers which are used to determine people with high fever, which is also a positive sign of the virus.

We are still alive, please continue to pray with us.

Greetings!

Thank you for joining us in prayer for the fight against the Ebola Virus in our Country, Liberia. Hence, the President of the Republic, Madame Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has declared a “State of Emergency” for a period of 90 days, and has also restricted families and friends from visiting each other in order to minimize the spread of the virus.

This could be a very good strategy but it is associated with hunger. There are no provisions made by the government to help provide food and safe drinking water for its people.

There are reports of deaths of Senior Citizens (elderly) that can not withstand such living condition in a country that is poverty stricken. The restrictions of movement are enforced by the Liberian Army who patrols the streets with arms daily.

As the battle against this deadly Ebola Virus continues, we are now seeking the face of Jehovah Jireh, the God that provides, to care for His people.

Presently there are some positive outcome with some medicine being prescribed, and that 30 persons that were treated from those affected have been proven negative and are re-united with their families. That shows that God is hearing us and answering our prayers.

Please continue to keep praying along with us.

Dearest Bishop,

I’m sorry to have been late in responding to your email. I was out of the city and just got back. I have been trying to check on the people in the rural areas and educating them on some preventive measures against the Ebola Virus.

We want to express our thanks and appreciation to you, Mother Mary, and the entire Church for your kind gesture.
I just got the money out and going to set up teams to get what is needed for helping our people.

We pray that God will give back to you as you continue to open your arms to his people. I have attached some photos from when you were here with us. These are some of who you are helping to save from this deadly Ebola Virus.

Again, our regards to Mother Mary and the entire Church.

1/4 of Americans want to secede

This tells you how truly screwed up our country is. There are a lot of people that are awakening to the fact that they have no representation and that our political process has failed.

So where is this all going? Do you think it will be magically cured with the next election or the next or the next? It won’t. We will only become more polarized until both sides are diametrically opposed.

Then we will no longer be brothers or countrymen, but instead enemies. We are coming nearer to the tipping point and the closer we come, the uglier it will get.

Yes we are trying still, using all means necessary, to save what we have, but it is failing and we all know it. JFK once said in a speech “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” and he spoke words of truth.

Once enough people realize that they have been removed from the political process the secession movement will grow. But the Fed has already shown in the past  that they will not make peaceful revolution possible.

As Chairman Mao the favorite philosopher of the leftists said ” A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery. It cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.” And he too speaks words of truth.

Happy Friday everybody……..

“(Reuters) – The failed Scottish vote to pull out from the United Kingdom stirred secessionist hopes for some in the United States, where almost a quarter of people are open to their states leaving the union, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

Some 23.9 percent of Americans polled from Aug. 23 through Sept. 16 said they strongly supported or tended to support the idea of their state breaking away, while 53.3 percent of the 8,952 respondents strongly opposed or tended to oppose the notion.”

Why does Obama call I.S. ISIL? Hmmm….

I know that the following is just rank speculation on my part, but I think I know why he is always referring to “ISIL”.

Yes, this is evil and insidious if true. Could it be that he is trying to garner support for the caliphate by constantly reminding muslims that this is not about war in Iraq and Syria, but rather a traditional homeland that sits right in the middle of the original Islamic empire?

“Compared with ISIS, the group’s old name, and ISIL, that alternate acronym, the newest identifier — “the Islamic State” — is a key piece of propaganda for the group, especially when it comes to targeting potential terrorist recruits.

“That’s a very potent area of propaganda, because ISIS has attracted potentially thousands of foreign fighters, and none of these foreign fighters see themselves as terrorists. They see themselves as knights. They see themselves as mujahedeen. They see themselves as freedom fighters,” Blank says. “So they’re very interested in fighting for the Islamic State, and they do not regard what they are doing as in any way an act of terrorism.”  NPR

Well he couldn’t just call it the Islamic state without being called on it could he? Why would he constantly use the term that encompasses the largest geographical  area possible instead of ISIS?

I decided  many months ago that his heart lay with the Sunni’s by the sides we took in the Arab spring and the middle east in General.

Here is a list do some math:

Syria- Assad is Alawite, rebels are Sunni

Libya-Gaddafi- Former Sunni converted to Quranism, rebels are Sunni

Egypt – Mubarak- Sunni, but he committed the ultimate crime by being an ally to Israel, rebels (Muslim brotherhood) Sunni

Jordan – Abdullah II- Sunni, rebels, there are none. We help Jordan suppress political unrest

“State Department spokesman Mark Toner says the Obama administration believes King Abdullah II is on the “right track” despite the protests, “”We call on protestors to do so peacefully. We support King Abdullah II’s roadmap for reform and the aspirations of the Jordanian people to foster a more inclusive political process that will promote security, stability as well as economic development.”

So now we have started airstrikes against ISIL in a war that all of our Generals are saying we can’t win with airstrikes.

Alright , I’m done, airstrike!

Update with a reader comment. I forgot to include the fact that Israel and Palestine are part of the Levant:

From Stackz o Magz

“He does it as an insult to Israel. When he says ISIL, he is sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East that he personally does not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as territory belonging to the Islamic State.”

The historic Levant

Corruption and the fall of the Ameri….. Err…. Roman empire

I don’t have much time to post at the moment. But read the following excerpts from law and liberty.org Check the link out there is some quality stuff here.
http://lawandliberty.org/justice.htm

“One of the principle causes of the fall of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire (about 125 BC) was that the patricians (ruling class) changed the leadership back and forth. As in politics today (human nature has not changed) the rules changed back and forth , creating confusion and ambiguity. The political power changed hands between ruling “families” or “caucuses” and each ruling group sought to impose sanctions and prohibitions on the others. The resulting lack of “moral” basis (ambiguity) in the law, created (and still creates) inevitable breakdown. When the people don’t know what the rules are, everyone is liable to be a law breaker. The Roman republic was strong, central, organized, and efficient. The Roman Empire was rotten from the inside out because of “Political Crimes” not “Moral Crimes”

Sound familiar?

Obama renews call for gun control

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/217836-obama-renews-call-for-gun-control-on-anniversary-of-navy-yard
“President Obama called on Americans to renew the push for gun-control legislation in a statement Tuesday marking the one-year anniversary of the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard.

“One year ago, 12 Americans went to work to protect and strengthen the country they loved,” Obama said. “Today, we must do the same — rejecting atrocities like these as the new normal and renewing our call for common-sense reforms that respect our traditions while reducing the gun violence that shatters too many American families every day.”

The 2013 shooting at the headquarters of the Naval Sea Systems Command left 12 individuals and the lone shooter, a civilian contractor, dead. Eight others were injured in the attack, the second deadliest mass murder on a U.S. military facility.”

Please Mr. President, please…..Just use your pen and phone.

Important information on MRAPS.. Updated

Make sure that you read it all and read it CAREFULLY. I know that you are all smart kids. TEMPIS FUGIT

“Now that the military involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan is drawing to a close, the services that used Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles — MRAPs — are declaring them surplus. Many of these vehicles are being picked up by local law enforcement agencies to serve as tactical personnel carriers through their state’s 1033 program. That is not always such a great idea.

The first issue to overcome is one of public image. There is no shortage of people in the United States who are vocal about how the police are becoming militarized, possibly (according to some, probably) to facilitate disarming the citizenry and bringing about the New World Order. Painting your agency’s livery on the side of a truck that has been in the newspapers carrying soldiers and Marines for the past 10 years is fuel for these folks’ fires.

The police department in the town where I grew up is getting considerable flak for their new acquisition, even though they badly needed a new tactical vehicle.

Access and Egress
Less obvious are the safety hazards associated with the vehicles themselves. After a conversation with a career Army officer familiar with the issue, I was directed to Bobby Russell, the civilian site lead for MRAP University at the Red River Army Depot near Texarkana (Texas). MRAP University provides training for MRAP vehicle military crews, drivers and maintainers.

There are two models of MRAP offered to public safety agencies: the MaxxPro and the Caiman. The Maxx Pro has a drop-down tailgate, while on the Caiman, the rear door opens sideways. In a rollover situation, particularly one where part of the vehicle is submerged, or on its top, the door operation limits the places anyone can get out.

Crews looking to deploy in MRAPs have to undergo egress training, and according to one experienced source, “It’s not fun.”

“Most of the front doors are air-assisted,” Russell told me. “Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. When entering an MRAP, if a crewman reaches up to the door handle to pull himself up, it can and will close the door on them.”

Malfunctions are even more likely if the vehicle has suffered a mishap and the engine is no longer running. If there is no air pressure, the functions are limited.

MRAP doors are also fitted with “combat locks” designed to keep the enemy from getting up close and personal with the crew. If these locks are engaged, it will be very difficult for rescue personnel to gain access to the interior of the vehicle.

Rollovers
MRAP University has one rollover simulator, an MRAP shell that can be rotated at will by the simulator operator. These simulators aren’t widely available, and local public safety agencies aren’t likely to have access to them.

There is a reason that rollovers are a special concern. Of 66 MRAP accidents overseas between November 2007 and June 2008, 40 were rollovers caused by rough roads, road shoulders collapsing, bridge failures or bad driving. These vehicles have a high center of gravity, and taking them on an incline of 30 degrees or more can cause them to topple.

The crew member in the top turret is at greatest risk in a rollover. While just taking personnel out of the turret is an option, it invites a new hazard. Visibility from inside the vehicles is very poor, and the person manning the turret often has to advise the driver via the vehicle’s intercom about obstructions to the side or rear.

The turret itself could be a problem in an urban environment. The turret is almost ten feet off the ground, and a rider’s body adds to that height. Troops manning turrets were occasionally clotheslined by utility cables or booby traps while crossing the terrain they were navigating.

The vehicles are extremely heavy for their size. The Caiman weighs 24 tons unloaded; the MaxxPro over 18 tons. Personnel and equipment add to that load. Small bridges have collapsed under the weight of MRAPs. Would the bridges in your community be up to the challenge?

Most of the MRAPs are street legal as delivered, but don’t count on taking them on any regional excursions unless you have a trailer to transport it. The vehicles get around 6 mpg, and hold between 50 and 80 gallons of fuel. The trucks run on diesel and/or JP8 fuel.

Although they’ll have to develop some workarounds, maintenance can be performed by most vehicle shops equipped to service trucks and heavy equipment. Finding a technician experienced in MRAPs could be a challenge, but Russell suggested contacting the National Guard unit closest to the vehicle’s home. Many guardsmen were deployed in MRAPs and were trained in their use and maintenance.

Although he might prefer otherwise, Russell can’t provide much assistance in training or maintenance for MRAPs. The Army regards MRAPs as legacy equipment, and MRAP University will soon shut down.” Police one: The hidden hazards of MRAPS

More dirt from those in high places

From The daily caller: http://dailycaller.com/2014/09/14/bombshell-emails-white-house-coordinated-with-department-of-labor-to-hide-illegal-obama-fundraiser-hilda-solis-schedule/

“The Department of Labor coordinated with the White House on whether or not to release hidden portions of former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’ schedule as Solis battled an FBI investigation into her illegal fundraising for President Obama.”

So there it is, more corruption. The stink is so bad that can’t hide it any more. They don’t even fear being caught at it anymore because there are no consequences.

There is no law anymore, no moral mandate that dictates right from wrong. All that exists now are punitive laws that will be used against those that oppose the machine.Illegitimate crooks, liars and thieves now rule from the highest places.

It is what I have been saying all along.

There is no law now unless you are afraid, no moral authority any longer backs their dictates. They have become so corrupt that they are illegitimate and their mandate to rule is gone. Fear is the only thing now that stands between what needs to be done and what is done.

Consequences are the only thing to fear and if you act in righteousness then consequences be damned;I will take my medicine when the time comes.Their despicable acts have turned my fear into self righteous indignation. They have unwittingly turned the tables on us. They have taken the moral authority that is supposed to rest with the law and handed it to us. They are the crooks and deceivers and their stench rises to high heaven.

A system wide failure is on the way. It has gotten so bad that they can no longer hide it. Cracks are starting to appear and even the mindless minions are beginning to wake up, whether they want to or not. They are going to have to silence those that speak out, like Breitbart news which is now being audited by the IRS.

Congress gives military equipment to police forces then rips those that they hired to administer program. WARNING FOUL LANGAUGE

Yes, I will admit that I got a little wound up. It was the fact of watching those snakes in the grass trying to defer all blame from themselves and pretend that they were actually going to change something.
I think what bothered me the most was them pretending to be the solution instead of the problem.
I don’t usually watch news programs at 10:00 P.M. or blog at night and if you read the following you will see why
Now live from last night:

So I decided to watch the senate hearing on the militarization of local police forces tonight. What a mistake that was. By the time I was 45 minutes into it my fucking head was ready to explode and not just in the normal way; It was ready to explode like some Somalian fucking Muslim infected with Ebola at the superbowl.
Here is the same governing body of assholes and asshats who created and authorized the program in the first place, standing on their high horses and tearing new asses to the people that THEY appointed to administer the programs.
I reached the breaking point when Claire Mckaskill pointed her finger at the head of one of the programs and told her “ I want you to send them body cameras before you send them body armor”. The woman looked like she had been slapped in the face as she explained “ We don’t get to choose what they get, we just give them grants to choose what they want to purchase”
These scumbags who created this in the first place are now trying to blame it on those that are doing exactly what they told them to do. They are standing up there acting like they are the champions of the people when all they are really doing is hoping beyond hope that they will be re-elected again.
It is your state, your local PD and these fucking degenerates that are responsible for this. Every fucking one of them needs to be held accountable without being able to wriggle their slimy asses out of it. It is just like the governor of Missouri pretending to be shocked about Ferguson when HE authorized the military assets to go there in the first place.
If they are not held accountable then it is going to be the fucking brownshirts in the street hiding behind their vests and armor. They were pissing themselves in the fucking streets in Ferguson because a couple of brothers with .25s popped off a couple of rounds and painted “The only good cop is a dead cop” on a wall.
Wait ‘til the real motherfuckers come out that have real guns and real fucking equipment and training and really fucking know how to shoot and hold their ground.
Fuck you Congress and you fucking brownshirt motherfuckers. Fuck all of you and all your police state Bullshit and I hope we come to arms tomorrow.
Let my fucking drone strike come now so I can go to fucking sleep . Good the fucking night you assholes.

*Yeah, I know, but that’s how I get. Congress has that effect on me.

You only thought that life sucked……

Yeah, I have had it pretty rough myself a few times. One time included living in a van for 9 months. I know where he is coming from. If you can help a brother out, please do.There is a link to Go Fund me below

“Things are becoming almost normal. Not that I’m advancing from my status of primitive living, but it seems I’m acclimating to my situation.

Raccoons have gotten three of my chickens, leaving me one hen and three roosters. In order to give the poor girl a rest, I have caged two of the roosters, and had one for dinner last night. For those of you not familiar with free range chickens, they are much ‘tougher’ than that crap you buy in the store; they actually use their muscles running around and chasing bugs and stuff…

A skunk has been stealing my eggs. And my dogs have stopped ‘protecting’ the henhouse since one got sprayed. I had to tie the poor mutt out under a tree a LONG way from the house and downwind for over a week…

Water procurement has gotten a little easier. I steal it from the state park! It’s only six miles away, and they have a spigot right past the gate. Its amazing how many five gallon jugs (my wife gets them from work; cooking oil containers) I can fit in the back of a Saturn!

I have hooked up a couple of small solar panels I had almost forgotten I had to charge a 12V marine battery, and I can run a small (six inch) fan on both sides of the bed during the night so sleeping is no longer an issue waking up to a pillow that feels like a waterlogged shredded wheat cereal and a sheet that you can ring out.

Got my camp stove for cooking. I know, I’m lazy. And ask Your Crazy Uncle Bubba about my fire-making skills! (NOT!)

Tarp keeps tearing in the Oklahoma winds, and I keep putting in new grommets and putting it back up.

Life sucks, but it beats the alternative. Still waiting on Sep 23rd to go to court over my ‘obstruction’ charge. I’ll let ya’ll know how that turns out, unless I’m in jail, in which case Rose will update ya!

Take care. PLEASE keep commenting, it makes this a lot easier knowing you’re out there.

Bless everyone of ya.

I’m still alive! (sorry!)

Things are almost starting to feel “normal” living out here. After so long with so little, things are tending to become routine. Get up, feed the animals, check my list of things to do (all three pages), see if I can get any of them done, or at least start on a couple or so, cut some firewood, (its gonna suck this winter as it is, I don’t want to have to go out and cut wood every day!)

Still stay in touch with Jim, the reader that helped me out with the move. Called him last night, he ragged on me about my fire making skills (okay, so I couldn’t get the damn fire started worth a shit when he and Uncle Bubba came to help me move. I was rushing it, and you just can’t do that with a fire!).
I always like shooting the shit with him. He and I are a lot alike, and he’s got some good insight into life in general, and prepping, too. He’s older than me, which makes him REALLY old, and has been through a lot. Talking with him now and then helps keep me focused on what I’m really trying to accomplish here. Says he’ll come down and visit again sometime, and I gotta say I look forward to his visit. I need to prove that I really CAN start a fire….

Can’t keep up with the blogs like I used to read everyday. Jim filled me in on Uncle Bubba’s doin’s. Sorry to hear about the shit your dealing with Uncle Bubba. My thoughts are with you. Sometimes with all the crap in my current situation, I tend to get shortsighted when it comes to the plights that others go through. (And my big brother lent me his Ryobi 18volt set, so don’t sweat the drill.) Take care of yourself first and foremost my friend. Besides, its almost as much a pain to recharge the batteries as to just use my manual drill. And I’ve still got your hand truck, if you happen to get up this way, I’d love to get together again.

Okay. So now I’ve used this blog as a way to get some words out to my friends out there, and let ya’ll know a bit about what’s going on with me. Not a whole lot new, just hoping things start to come together before the weather starts to change, though I wouldn’t mind it a LITTLE cooler around here!

I’ll try to come up with something interesting soon instead of the drivel I’ve been publishing lately, but using a Library computer, I have to behave myself. Which SUCKS!

Til next time, folks. Keep on doing whatever the fuck it is you’re doing, and keep your powder dry!”

Ebola spreading exponentially

Now, here is the headline that we have all been waiting to see. It doesn’t get much better than that unless it’s exploding Muslims infected with the disease. Now that would be exponential spreading.
With the election coming up I expect that they will whip this into a frenzy so the Dear leader can save us all.

War comes to America

It’s here. The brutal islamists have landed on our shores. That’s right, islamist hackers have attacked the website of Kirk Cameron’s upcoming film “Saving Christmas”. Over the weekend the site was hacked and an islamist message was posted saying “”The Turkish spirit will shine again and the use of weapons will emerge in the nation’s history as this hero will shine again.” Brutal bastards. They may as well have taken out Santa’s sleigh with a Sam and hacked his head off with a dull knife.
Is that roasted reindeer that I smell?

Ebola ! Como esta ?

Yeah, that is the new greeting now. It is said from 12 feet away and it comes with a little wave instead of a handshake. Sneeze shields anyone?

“Six months into the worst Ebola epidemic in history, the world is losing the battle to contain it,” Liu said.

“In west Africa, cases and deaths continue to surge,” she said. “Riots are breaking out. Isolation centres are overwhelmed. Health workers on the frontline are becoming infected and are dying in shocking numbers.

“Others have fled in fear, leaving people without care for even the most common illnesses. Entire health systems have crumbled.”

She said Ebola treatment centres had been reduced to places where people went to die alone.

“It is impossible to keep up with the sheer number of infected people pouring into facilities. In Sierra Leone, infectious bodies are rotting in the streets,” she said. “Rather than building new Ebola care centres in Liberia, we are forced to build crematoria.”

Fast food workers to walk out for $15.00 an hour minimum wage

http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/in-plain-sight/were-movement-now-fast-food-workers-set-strike-150-cities-n195256

You know I just can’t garner a whole lot of sympathy for them. Since when did “Would you like ketchup with that?” become a career goal? Move on and get a real job.
To top it off they are all real geniuses on par with chairman Zero, the smartest guy in the room. They don’t realize that the law of unintended consequences will come into play here and their 15 bucks an hour will translate into a crappy $8.00 cheeseburger and no business.
To put the icing on the cake, they are being organized by SEIU, the purple shirted commie thugs.
Maybe someone will drive through a crowd of them while they all hold hands and sing we are the world……I know, that’s just downright mean…

Potential attack by ISIS at southern border blamed on……………James O’Keefe?

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/08/29/Exclusive-Breitbart-Texas-Verifies-ISIS-Threat-With-Leaked-Doc

“The document was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety and warned that ISIS was actively promoting and encouraging supporters to take advantage of the porous Texas-Mexico border to carry out terrorist attacks against US citizens.

The document attributed the increased interest by ISIS to a report done by journalist James O’Keefe. Though the report did not mention O’Keefe by name, it showed images of O’Keefe crossing the porous Texas-Mexico border while wearing an Osama bin Laden mask.”

C’mon! Really? Out of all the people that are actually to blame they are trying to pin this on O’keefe? Not the policies of ICE or this administration but Jimmy pimp daddy. I take this as a personal affront because little Jimmy there is my pretend son. You know the one that is so cool that he takes down entire government funded organizations instead of just being a bastard breeding loser. LOL. Have a good weekend all

Biggest ever weekly rise in Ebola cases

US news and world report http://health.usnews.com/health-news/articles/2014/08/29/biggest-ever-weekly-rise-in-ebola-cases-un-agency-says

“FRIDAY, Aug. 29, 2014 (HealthDay News) — The West African Ebola outbreak took a more deadly turn Friday with the World Health Organization announcing an estimated 500 new cases this week — the biggest jump in infections so far.”
“Already the largest Ebola outbreak ever, the viral infection has produced 3,069 cases so far and killed 1,552 people in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, with Senegal now added to that list.

Nearly 40 percent of the total number of reported cases have occurred in the past three weeks, the health agency said.

“This far outstrips any historic Ebola outbreak in numbers. The largest outbreak in the past was about 400 cases,” Dr. Bruce Aylward, WHO’s assistant director-general for emergency operations, said at a news conference, the AP reported.”

This isn’t your grandfathers Ebola anymore. Something about this outbreak is different and they either don’t know what it is or aren’t they aren’t saying. Doctors and hospital staff wearing full protective gear are becoming infected. So far I haven’t seen a trend for it to be multiplying exponentially yet, like influenza, but they have admitted that the number of cases has been grossly underestimated.
Let’s hope it stays that way.

Ebola cases may total 12,000

“A new plan by the U.N. health agency to stop Ebola also assumes that the actual number of cases in many hard-hit areas may be two to four times higher than currently reported. If that’s accurate, it suggests there could be up to 12,000 cases already.”

Yeah, I know , I am becoming a regular harbinger of doom. But I don’t make the stuff up, I just pass it on. With all this good news going on I think that this weekend I am going to just say screw it and take the wife out on a date. Maybe a nice picinik in the woods boo boo with some wine and cheese and dried meat and fruit. Let the dead bury their own dead for a few days. Damn, it’s only Thursday…..

China, Russia dropping the dollar for oil trading

FROM: ZERO HEDGE , TYLER DURDEN
Original here:http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-08-27/gazprom-begins-accepting-payment-oil-ruble-yuan

Move along, there is nothing to see here, Russia is not important because they don’t make things.
Remember? That is what Chairman Zero said. Are you ready for the ride? Because it looks like it is going to be sooner rather than later. Live fire exercises starting soon.

Several months ago, when Russia announced the much anticipated “Holy Grail” energy deal with China, some were disappointed that despite this symbolic agreement meant to break the petrodollar’s stranglehold on the rest of the world, neither Russia nor China announced payment terms to be in anything but dollars. In doing so they admitted that while both nations are eager to move away from a US Dollar reserve currency, neither is yet able to provide an alternative.

This changed in late June when first Gazprom’s CFO announced the gas giant was ready to settle China contracts in Yuan or Rubles, and at the same time the People’s Bank of China announced that its Assistant Governor Jin Qi and Russian central bank Deputy Chairman Dmitry Skobelkin held a meeting in which they discussed cooperating on project and trade financing using local currencies. The meeting discussed cooperation in bank card, insurance and financial supervision sectors.

And yet, while both sides declared their operational readiness and eagerness to bypass the dollar entirely, such plans remained purely in the arena of monetary foreplay and the long awaited first shot across the Petrodollar bow was absent.

Until now.

According to Russia’s RIA Novosti, citing business daily Kommersant, Gazprom Neft has agreed to export 80,000 tons of oil from Novoportovskoye field in the Arctic; it will accept payment in rubles, and will also deliver oil via the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline (ESPO), accepting payment in Chinese yuan for the transfers. Meaning Russia will export energy to either Europe or China, and receive payment in either Rubles or Yuan, in effect making the two currencies equivalent as far as the Eurasian axis is conerned, but most importantly, transact completely away from the US dollar thus, finally putin'(sic) in action the move for a Petrodollar-free world.

More on this long awaited first nail in the petrodollar coffin from RIA:

The Russian government and several of the country’s largest exporters have widely discussed the possibility of accepting payments in rubles for oil exports. Last week, Russia began to ship oil from the Novoportovskoye field to Europe by sea. Two oil tankers are expected to arrive in Europe in September.

According to Kommersant, the payment for these shipments will be received in rubles.

Gazprom Neft will not only accept payments in rubles; subsequent transfers via the ESPO may be paid for in yuan, the newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the change in currency was made because of the Western sanctions against Russia.

As a protective measure, Russia decided to avoid making its payments in US dollars, which can be tracked and controlled by the United States government, Kommersant reported.

“Protective measure” meaning that it was the US which managed to Plaxico itself by pushing Russia to transact away from the US Dollar, in the process showing the world it can be done, and slamming the first nail in the petrodollar’s coffin.

This is not surprising to anyone who has been following our forecast of the next steps in the transition from the Petrodollar to the Gas-O-Yuan. Recall from April:

The New New Normal flow of funds:

Gazprom delivering gas to China.
China Gazprom paying in Yuan (convertible into Rubles)
Gazprom funding itself increasingly in Yuan.
Russia buying Chinese goods and services in Yuan (convertible into Rubles)

And all of this with the US banker cartel completely disintermediated courtesy of the glaring absence of the USD in any of the above listed steps, or as some may call it: from the Petrodollar to the Gas-o-yuan (something 40 central banks have already figured out… just not the Fed).

Still confused? Then read “90% Of Gazprom Clients Have “De-Dollarized”, Will Transact In Euro & Renminbi” for just how Gazprom set the stage for the day it finally would push the button to skip the dollar entirely. Which it just did.

In conclusion we will merely say what we have said previously, and it touches on what will be the most remarkable aspect of Obama’s legacy, because while the hypocrite “progressive” president who even his own people have accused of being a “brown-faced Clinton” after selling out to Wall Street and totally wrecking US foreign policy abroad, is already the worst president in a century of US history according to public polls, the fitting epitaph will come when the president’s policies put an end to dollar hegemony and end the reserve currency status of the dollar once and for all, thereby starting the rapid, and uncontrolled, collapse of the US empire. To wit:

In retrospect it will be very fitting that the crowning legacy of Obama’s disastrous reign, both domestically and certainly internationally, will be to force the world’s key ascendent superpowers (we certainly don’t envision broke, insolvent Europe among them) to drop the Petrodollar and end the reserve status of the US currency.

As of this moment, both Russia and China have shown not on that it can be done, but it is done. Expect everyone to jump onboard the new superpower axis bandwagon soon enough.
