That’s a lot of gun for a pistol cartridge… 9mm or .45? Either way, I’m not sure I’d gain anything by having a long gun shooting either of those calibers.

Compared to a full size carry pistol you can get significantly more velocity in a 9mm rifle with a locked bolt, but the gains max with about an 18” barrel. .45 ACP will actually lose velocity. My choice would be a 10mm Magnum. I don’t know what this rifle is chambered in, but those are 32 round magazines.

9mm. I could use a carbine length barrel though. 9mm is cheap enough that I can use those 32 Rd magazines. Would go along with the wife’s henry homesteader. If I want to rain Hell and death on people, I have other choices than that

I’ll stick with 300 BO, 9″ and 7.62×39 in 10″ AR-15 pistol, for compact, real, firepower. It’s smaller and marginally lighter. Lots more horse power, lots more range.

IO am not after firepower. I already have a henry homesteader 9mm carbine and 2 m1 carbines. The 30 carbine is much more expensive than 9mm and at this point I beleive I have more 9mm than Germany.
