It is the grand re-opening of Notre Dame.
I watched it live, and listened to the frogs brag about how they got it back in five years, yet somehow failed to mention that many of the ‘old world’ capable craftsman had to be brought from all over the world including some boat builders from the east coast of America.
Still, overall pretty cool.
The scene here is the Arch Bishop of Paris, who symbolically taps the door of the Cathedral and bids them open to the people.
He did this three times after reading three separate prayers. I don’t speak French but it sounded like a prayer for God the father, knock, knock, knock open these doors. Prayer for God the Son who is Jesus, knock, knock, knock, open these doors, and finally Prayer for God The Holy Spirit, knock, knock, knock, throw open these doors.
In between each set of prayers a large choir sang hymns.
Trump represented us their like a boss, with heads of state all pawing at him for his attention. Glorious!
