    297 Indians, most women and children, were killed by American soldiers. Was this a mass killing or genocide?  I believe I would classify this as genocide on the low side. The government wanted these Indians dead. The real difference between a mass shooting and genocide ia around 20 million. The way you prevent 20 million dead from occurring is to ensure the 2nd survives. Never ever trust the government.
