Comparing COVID to the flu was once an incendiary political talking point. Now, it’s where many people have landed.
Driving the news: With infections believed to be growing in more than two dozen states and the Food and Drug Administration poised to approve updated vaccines as soon as this week, 32% of those polled said COVID poses a large or moderate risk to their health, compared with 27% in early June.
- But they rate the risk about the same as that for the flu, RSV or other respiratory illnesses — and 52% strongly or somewhat agree that the pandemic is over.
- 13% said they’ve worn a face mask in public in the past week, while the number who report they’ve taken an at-home COVID test ticked up slightly from June, to 15%.
- 5% said they received a COVID vaccine or booster in the past three months.
“Americans are willing to concede COVID might pose a slightly higher risk to their health, but that’s as far as they’re going to go,” said Ipsos vice president Mallory Newall. “The current isolation and treatment guidance treats it like seasonal flu, and people are content to agree.”

There’s a radio news program in the AM here and almost every ad is for a Pfizer product. Lately the ad is for the RSV for which they claim there is no known treatment for but suprisingly enough, they have a handy-dandy vax…

It’s all a primitive God like auspicious, they are the demi. Gods that spouse what the God’s say, and with blind faith we all follow.
The demi Gods, found out, we are all still believers.
These people in DC are corrupt morally, and psychically, they worship power, by any means.
This nation needs to find new Gods, the government God, BAD.
Plain fact, there still is no cure for common illness, stay healthy as you can, and practice common sense, not pandemonium.
The most important thing is, don’t drink the ambrosia of the false Gods.

Infections are on the rise due to overuse of antibiotics…that which was intended to treat/cure bacterial infections.
The zombie apocalypse was a viral infection…approved medical protocol spread antibiotics like candy. Wrong treatment. Period.
We now have “super bugs”, antibiotic resistant bacteria due to this carelessness.
The carelessness was foretold decades ago by CDC and WHO as alarming numbers of MRSA infections, et.al., emerged.
Once upon a time, a dr. first sent a sample in to see if your illness was bacterial or viral. Results dictated what treatment was called for. That testing was eliminated long ago. You sniffle or cough and get an antibiotic. Sometimes it does no good. Knowing the above, why do you think that is?

Doctors are now businesses. Knowing that A.B. does nothing for viruses they immediately say, “I’m going to prescribed this in case of a secondary infection” Don’t want you to feel like you wasted money when he says” It’s a cold and there is nothing I can do”
