Former Trump adviser Kash Patel said Tuesday that the House of Representatives has the authority to arrest United States Attorney General Merrick Garland and hold him in detention until he complies with a congressional subpoena.
“Merrick Garland said, ‘No, I’m not going to comply [with the subpoena]. I’m going to break the law,'” Patel said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show.
“Then Congress under that authority granted to them by statute can have the sergeant at arms go and arrest Merrick Garland, and can hold him in detention until he complies, just like DOJ would do to anyone else who violates a subpoena,” he continued.
The House has “inherent power to commit for contempt by detaining the witness in the custody of the Sergeant-at-Arms,” according to House rules.
Until they actually impeach and kick someone out of office, it’s all just pretty words. And until they start hanging people for treason, none of it is serious.

How many times do I have to say The Deep State is one big sex club with the Democrats being the “Tops”, Republicans the “Bottoms” and Lobbyists the directors and video cameras operators.

The DOJ/FBI was quite willing to go kinetic on the Secret Service at Mar A Lago. You really think they would allow Garland to be arrested? The DOJ/FBI are rogue corrupt entities. They refuse to obey ANY laws and have no qualms about using force to maintain their power and privilege. Short of turning the182nd Airborne lose on them I’m not sure how one would rein in such a group.
