Who would have thought? : First Trans lawmaker arrested for child porn

Former state Rep. Stacie Marie Laughton of Derry, the first openly transgender person elected to the N.H. House of Representatives, was arrested Thursday by Nashua police on charges she allegedly distributed child sexual abuse images, officials said.

On Tuesday, June 20, Nashua police responded to a local facility for a juvenile matter, officials said in a release. Officers spoke with individuals there who indicated Laughton allegedly distributed sexually explicit images of children, police said.

    According to what I’ve read, this guy had multiple prior convictions and arrests that should have barred him from seeking office in NH, NONE of which was made public while he was running for this election.

    So much for the UL being the voice of truth and honesty.

    Bill and Nackie must be spinning in their graves seeing what the current owner has done to the once proud UL.

    Candidates nationwide used to go to NH seeking their endorsement. Now they avoid the UL like the plague.
