On another note, I saw a Northern Harrier yesterday. I was alerted to it by all of the tweety birds on the ground searching for breakfast suddenly scattering. Looked up and there it was cruising over the killing grounds about thirty feet up. Hunting must be good in my neighborhood as there was a winter resident peregrine who I saw take a sparrow that was resting on a bush a couple months ago. I saw it several times over the winter, only once making a kill.
