Any husband who has had to listen to his wife explain that she didn’t spend $600, she actually saved $400 cause all those clothes were on sale can fully understand that logic.

Not going to suggest looking at the actual data. Numbers. If N crimes are committed by one group, and X crimes are committed by another group, and N > X, and group X is many times larger than group N, then there is an obvious problem. And this just happens to be the actual situation. The raw numbers of the 13% exceed the raw numbers of the 75%, and the conclusion is that the 13% group has a nearly 6x greater crime rate.
But yeah, maff is hard. And graphs is raycis.
