Dean Cain : Kiss your career goodbye

“They said it’s a bold new direction, I say they’re bandwagoning,” the 55-year-old actor told Fox & Friends on Tuesday. “Robin just came out as bi — who’s really shocked about that one? The new Captain America is gay. My daughter in [The CW series] Supergirl, where I played the father, was gay. So I don’t think it’s bold or brave or some crazy new direction. If they had done this 20 years ago, perhaps that would be bold or brave.

“Brave would be having him fighting for the rights of gay people in Iran where they’ll throw you off a building for the offense of being gay,” Cain continued. “They’re talking about having him fight climate change and the deportation of refugees, and he’s dating a hacktivist — whatever a hactivist is. Why don’t they have him fight the injustices that created the refugees whose deportation he’s protesting? That would be brave, I’d read that. Or fighting for the rights of women to attend school and have the ability to work and live and boys not to be raped by men under the new warm and fuzzy Taliban — that would be brave. There’s real evil in this world today, real corruption and government overreach, plenty of things to fight against. Human trafficking — real and actual slavery going on. … It’d be great to tackle those issues.”

  1. During WWII, brave men fought Nazi tyranny in the Pacific and in Europe, knowing oftentimes that it may cost them their lives. in 2021, equally brave men fight Nazi tyranny right here at home, against an organized leftist regime, knowing that it might cost them everything that they have worked for during their entire lives.
    Dean Cain is just one example of the kind of Patriot that we need to have in the fight against the very organized group that is the Democrat machine. A civil war, that so many predict, won’t start with a gun shot, but rather with many of this type of skirmishes.
    Thank you, Dean, for a great example.

  2. Bandwaggoning? This is catering to, at most, 2% of the population, who are trying to convince the rest of us that being gay is normal. It’s not normal. It’s like trying to convince me that fish is the same as beef. I don’t have a problem with people being gay.

    However, when they keep asserting that this is normal by SHOVING IT DOWN OUR THROATS and insisting that we swallow, I’ve got a problem with that.

    Like all of the rest of the progressive “issues” in this society, all they’re really doing is trying to make the rest of us pay for past oppression. The oppression has been removed, BY LAW. What happened before then, happened. We still, as a free country, have the right to disagree with any position taken by anyone, at any time, based on OUR principles.

    Hollyweird wants to keep preaching their progressive bullshit. Fine. Most people in this country ain’t buyin’ it and it shows at the box office.

  3. Any time my wife and I start watching a new (to us) show on netflix, or whatever, and there is any kind of “gay” happenings in the show, we turn it off and never watch that show again.. Happened just the other day when we started a new show, this one being NCIS Hawaii… we love the other NCIS shows/series, but in the very first episode of this series, one of the main characters starts making out with someone of the same sex… Turned it off, and we will NEVER watch another show from that series… Hollyweird is cutting their own throats.

    • Words have value.
      Misappropriated words such as ‘gay’ to describe homosexual demeans the rest of our vocabulary.
      Part of ‘Shifting Baseline Syndrome’, they need to continually invent new definitions.
      I refuse to use their words… I refuse to play with their ball on their field under their rules.
      For this reason, I refuse to use their terms ‘red state/blue state’… another fabricated perversion.
      The BOLCHEVICS are a few inner-city loudmouths.
      To claim ownership of an entire state population is delusional.
      They need us dead.
      To eliminate our Northern European Heritage, they need to consistently alter the baseline.
      Eventually, cascading disasters dujour create such a sense of urgency just to stay alive, we forget our history… that ‘Shifting Baseline Syndrome’.
      I refuse to play:
      Fruit — “I came out as gay when I was in school.”
      Me — “You are homosexual?”
      Fruit, achieving instant chimp-out — “NO! I AM GAY!”
      Me — “How do you like homosexual living?”
      Fruit, in tears — “HOMOPHOBIC! RACIST!”
      Any time I hear their misappropriated words:
      * progressive
      * leftist
      * blue state
      * global hot/cold
      * refugees
      I instantly know they are whack-jobs, desperately seeking approval from TheHive.

  4. Marge,
    The thing is, we must follow not only God’s word, but the U.S. Constitution. Both God’s word and the Constitution tell us to treat every person with respect, dignity, and with the same treatment that we treat every other person. That means that we allow a Christian, a Muslim, a Jehovah’s Witness, an atheist, or any other type of religious person the same space to worship, so long as they do not harm nor interfere with our right to worship our own way. That is a big issue in and of itself, of course.
    The homosexual, gay, queer, or what ever other term you wish to use, is similar. And you are right, the side that define the term used has the advantage from the beginning. I just know that when Jesus was brought a woman who was taken in the very act of adultery, which one can only picture as being a terrible scene, yet the man was not brought, Jesus did not say that she deserved to die and burn in hell. I am sure you know the passage.
    After her accusers left in shame, he said ” where are your accusers?” She told him that there were none that condemned her. He said, “Neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more.” Now did He mean to not just go and quit committing adultery? No, I believe that He meant what He said. Sin no more, meaning no sin, period. Since we know that physically that is impossible, even Paul said that the things that he did not want to do, he found himself doing, then Jesus had to have meant that the woman had gotten faith in Jesus by what he had done to the Pharisees, and thus, her sins were forever forgiven, so in effect she did go and sin no more, at least as far as having the penalty already been paid by the coming crucifiction of Christ.
    As far as the homosexual, or thief, adulterer, liar, cheater, or any other type of sinner, which as we know from James 2:10, are one and the same, I have determined that I have to leave it up to God as to what happens to them, or if they have been saved by the blood of Christ. My job as a Christian is first and foremost to try and bring others to Christ. That includes those on the list who by their fruits show that they may not know the Savior.
    I also have other jobs, including taking care of my own household, spending time in prayer, giving to those in need, and being a good steward of the talents that I have been lucky enough to have been born with.
    I did attend Bible college back in the mid 80’s, and I can tell you that even as far back as then, I could see the creeping of liberalism into the church and it was intentional, not just accidental. Back then, I read and studied men like Tozer, Spurgeon, and the like. You don’t hear much about them any more. I live in Michigan, and attended Bible college here. But I almost moved to Florida and attended Spurgeon Baptist Bible College. Located in Mulberry FL, they closed and merged with Carolina University, in 2003, and it looks like they offer mostly an online presence, through Regency University.
    If anyone likes the study of end times prophesy, or Eschatology, this would be a pretty good time to start reading, and look at some authors from at least before WWII, if you want to get a really good start on things.
    Prayers for all, and remember, I am just a man, who is prone to be wrong quite often, so if you disagree with anything I have here, you are probably right. My hope is only to cause God’s people to think and to pray.

    He is very correct.
    Good for him
